My experience with Alligator Towing & Recovery Inc. was beyond disappointing, it was infuriating. The level of unprofessionalism, lack of transparency, and blatant disregard for customers’ time and money is unacceptable.
It’s truly baffling how a business like this is still allowed to operate. From the moment I interacted with them, it was clear that customer service is not a priority. The process was disorganized, communication was poor, and the staff was dismissive at best.
If you value your time, peace of mind, and hard-earned money, RUN!
They should be investigated and shut down.
My company uses this tow truck service. I had broken down and they were there to save the day to bring me a truck from my company and another time to tow me back. Great service, prompt, excellent service. Jeff was the tow truck driver and Jeff knows what he is doing. He did a great job. Thank you for the great service!!!

Ive never left a google review before this but, the young guy Aiden is amazing. He took care of my jeep like it was his own. Extremely kind and considerate. He made me feel like we have been friends for years on the way up to the dealership. 10/10 experience
I don't normally leave google reviews, but this company is at the bottom of the barrel! My God. They towed my Truck to the wrong location after a major accident.
These people have no understanding, no compassion and no regard for their customers.
They charged me damn near $500! For ONE DAY!

Alligator Towing is awesome. We had a front right tire blowout on our motorhome. They were one of the only companies who had the equipment to tow us. They were extremely responsive and communicated with us through the entire process. They got to us pretty quickly, and the tow operator Matt was awesome! He treated our rig like it was his own, and he went above and beyond to get us off the side of I75 during a tropical storm with intense downpours. He really was awesome! Highly recommend Alligator Towing if you need a tow in Southwest Florida.
The driver was a very nice young man as well as being skilled at his job. He showed up very quickly after the call was made and did a very fine job of getting the car loaded and home .All in all very pleasant experience.
Valve on my Amazon truck started leaking in Naples and Tommy arrived with excellent customer service and work ethic.. brought me all the way back to plant city with no problem! Big thanks Tommy!!

Alligator towing is a phenomenal towing service. They are kind, understanding, quick and actually pretty affordable. My car’s safeguard in the front got bent due to hitting a puddle hard during some rain, and was able to get a tow pretty easy. The dispatcher we talked to, Miles, was clear and kind, explain all the prices and was able to defused the panic I was in. When the tow came, Jason, the operator, was fantastic. Jason went above and beyond with handling my car and I could not thank him enough.
I made an appointment to get my truck towed @ 9am. 2 weeks in advance. The day of the tow. 11am comes. I didn't hear anything from anyone. So I called. They said he was running late. About 230 3 pm. Driver calls and has finally picked up the truck. What's the point of an appointment if you don't keep them.
Alligator towing arrived quicker than they said to pick up my motorcycle, which was nice. And the driver was friendly and respectful. It was quite expensive though.
Aiden showed up on a Sunday and was happy to help me when my car broke down. He arrived on scene and quickly got my car back to my house. Highly recommend this company
They took my car to the wrong place to start with. Then denied it for 4hours.
Never once did they say I'm sorry.
Instead they insisted the care was at my mechanic shop. Had to have my mechanic call them to say the car was not there. After 5 hours they realized the car was not were it was supposed to be.hope I can post the video of how the unloaded my car. The driver could not figure out how to put a car in nuetral,even with the keys.unfornatly I can not post the video of him dragging my car and bouncing it off the flatbed.
If someone would have just said I'm sorry we made a mistake I would not be posting this.
Review for Alligator Towing
I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Alligator Towing, which I feel compelled to share. After being involved in an accident, my car was towed by this company while I was hospitalized for over two weeks. Once I was finally able to retrieve my car, I was shocked to find that the fees they charged me were more than the car itself was worth! To make matters worse, they immediately inquired if I wanted to sell the vehicle, which felt quite predatory considering the circumstances.
The lack of empathy and outrageous fees charged by Alligator Towing make it hard for me to recommend their services to anyone. My rating for them is zero stars.
If you're considering using this company, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for a more compassionate and reasonably priced service.

I used Alligator Towing on the strong recommendation of a lady I do business with. The guy who came out, Tony, was very friendly, courteous, and professional. My wife and I were under a lot of stress, but he was funny and friendly and that really helped. When we got our vehicle to the service center, he communicated very well with the service manager. I feel he did his job very well. I would highly recommend this company. Their rates are very reasonable, and the service is top-notch. Also, a shout out to the lady (sorry, I didn’t get her name) who took my call originally and walked me through how everything works with Alligator Towing. I was able to pay by the phone and it worked out great.

Very unprofessional they do not care about your time and need Pest control for the ridiculous amount of mosquitoes and its musty moldy smell. This place needs work all around!
I am highly disaapointed….my black 2020 nissan altima was towed to this company (not by choice) and when my mother and cosin came to receive my vehicle back to me I cried, I worked very hard for my car and they did not treat it with any type of respect even when I tried to have it picked up earlier they denied access and told us multiple excuses as to why i could not pick it up then they had my family waiting hours in the rain thunder and lightning even after we called multiple times. I really hope you guys can fix the damages that you caused on my vehicle because there is no way it magically happend you can tell it was from the tow truck.
These guys are the biggest con artists I have ever met in my life, they towed my vehicle from an accident, I got the run around about whether the vehicle at faults insurance company was supposed to pay for my car or I was, I even stopped by 2 times to grab stuff out of my car and they conveniently forgot to mention that if my car wasn't paid by a certain amount of days that they would take my car, and then when I finally got an answer I went to take care of it but they said they are in possession of it and wouldn't give it back...this was around a week or less of the due date and they wouldn't budge on their "policy" they basically stole my car. But lesson learned....will NEVER deal with them if my life depended on it.
