They tried to charge me $250 for a diagnosis they didn't do. The best they could do was guess that it could be the CVM (convertible module), no test to confirm it.
UPDATE: Took it to another shop. They solved it within a few hours and it was not a faulty CVM like this place guessed it was. These people don't know what they're doing.
They held my car for 6 days, never gave updates (i had to call), and left everything scattered not installed. They even left it in the rain without being fully installed so water leaked in.
Had to argue to get it down to $150 - for a job not done. If you have convertible top problems, take it anywhere else... They pick up the phone saying "towing services" anyways that's what they do
I brought my car in and they were able to repair and replace my top on my m6 convertible bmw I was super impressed with the kind fast service I highly recommend anybody with a drop top to go see my new friend for fast service five stars all day

And found a kid in the back over heated and drained if all his strength from being over worked

Just took my BMW convertible to Custom as the top stopped working and they were great at diagnosing the issue and got the top back working for a fair price. I will highly recommend them.
Absolutely the best Company to rely on to Tow your car. Chris picked up my car this a.m from Fort Myers Beach and took to Firestone in Cape Coral. Showed up with a smile, very kind and assured me he would inform me upon delivery of my vehicle and did just that. I have to say I am impressed with the service and turnaround time provided. I have personally reached out on several occasions for myself and friends needing vehicle towed, or for others stranded at our business. My sons vehicle needed to be towed, he really just needed a battery charge. Chris is our contact, 24/7! They also provide service for Custom Tops.
Had my car towed there after left front accident. Had to leave it a couple weeks before I could have it towed from there. They collected tow charge and $35.00 a day storage fees. While the car was there they slashed all the new tires I had just put on before accident. Not sure why?? Not good people. Absolutely no reason to do that. Stay away from them!!!
Called and got a price to replace my Mazda convertible top from "Chris" and he was rude and wasn't even close to other prices I got. Don't bother wasting your time.
Chris was awesome!! It’s great to see a hard working man and someone out to improve his business and make it better. My wife commented to me how it’s rare to find men of this caliber, who take care of their business and customer service. Chris is cut from that clothe. He showed up at the time he said he would and assured us he’d be there. He didn’t disappoint. He towed the vehicle and dropped the keys in the dealers box with our information shortening our commute time. For that, we are great full Chris. Good business habits. Highly recommend..
Had them “fix” my daughter’s convertible top. He stopped the leak on one side, then started messing with parts on the opposite side, despite there being NOTHING wrong with that side. Well, guess what? The side he didn’t need to mess with started leaking and I’ve been trying to get an appointment ever since. They say they’re a car top repair company, but did NOTHING but give me the runaround. I was told their top tech only comes in on Fridays and when I made appointments to come in, he was never there. It’s always “he’s sick”, or “he’s on vacation”. Tired of it after two months of being told he’ll be in when he’s not. Even had one guy take my name and number to call me when he came in, was told he was for sure coming in this morning, waited for over an hour, called back and was told he was not even scheduled to be in. Don’t waste your time, spend your money at a place with more than one guy who “specializes” in this. Truth is they have one employee who does this and to say that he is not dependable is an understatement. Even if you manage to get an appointment, nobody is on the same page and nobody knows what’s going on. Total waste of time. Truth is there are FAR too many other places that will do this and do it better.
Top repair/replace on my daughter's car $2500. It never even worked when she get her car back. But ,she waited a month to attempt to open it due to cold weather and the 2-3 week suggested stretch in period. When the top opened, it shattered the rear window., the one they just replaced. the entire top is racked and will not close or open. We returned the car and the Manager would not accept responsibility. He was very very RUDE tried to blame her! How is it possible for her to be responsible? All she did was push the button! The same button that has been pushed for 20 years!
I contacted Adam regarding my 2008 Corvette for a new paint job as well as fixing some interior items. He was very pleasant and incredibly professional, and the price was also very fair. I received the car today and I cannot believe how great it looks. To say I am impressed is a huge understatement. Thank you very much.
My 2008 hard top convertible went down fine but couldn't come up without manual help. We've taken it to 2 other places then was told to try Custom Car Tops. It needed new hydraulics they put them in and it worked fine a couple days took it back since it has 2 year guarantee and they were very concerned that it wasn't working. It needed lines blown out and more fluid in. I will find out Tuesday if it works. Very nice people to work with. I feel confident it will be in working condition when I get it. Confidence is going down it's been another week!! Well now they say a new motor for the top. Another 1600.00 ugh this car is nice but getting to much money entailed. Going tomorrow to talk more about repair.
Terrible customer service! This guy was so rude. He changed the price 3x. Then I arrived to get a service done that was supposed to take a half hour and was told it will be 2 to 3 hours! I sat for 45 minutes in my car watching him eat and remodel his office. I told him I had no other choice but to wait. He acknowledged me sitting in my car in the heat waiting. He was on his phone walking around. My last visit I went in for a 5 minute callibration, which the last 8 i had took 5 minutes at a different location, and i sat there for over an hour. There was absolutely no reason for this. He was walking around eating tha time to. I ended up leaving after an hour and went to affordable auto performance who had it done in 20 minutes and charged me less than half of what he was charging! Custom car tops is the worst! They need to learn manners, good customer service and common decency! Very unhappy with them
I came in with the check engine light problem. I had already been to another mechanic and they gave me a list of what they thought was wrong with my car. Coming to this mechanic, they gave me a totally different list of what was wrong with my car. I trusted them to repair my car. Within a month the check engine light came back on. I went to the 1/3 mechanic and they can hurt. The problem was the same as the original person. Clearly custom Kars did not know what they were doing. They socked me for a bunch of repairs I didn't need. I will never return to their establishment again. I wouldn't even give them the one star if I could.
Pedro and David were awesome! I needed a tow and they showed up within minutes. They were super friendly and made a bad day laughable. Hopefully I won't need a tow again for a long time, but if I do I will call them!!

They did a great job on the upholstery of my Ford F150. Very reasonably priced as well.The upholstery rated 5 stars.
I returned to have my truck painted.
I had to bring it back twice as the rubber on the left of the windshield was pieced together, falling off & leaking water into the cab. This is all documented with pictures & a letter which were sent to the owner via certified mail requesting justice. He was kind & caring & even provided a rental car for me.
After bringing it back twice, it's still leaking.
Since then, the roof of the cab has started rusting through the paint. It wasn't prepped properly, the layer of silicone the painting technician used to hide the fact that he did not correct his mistakes has worn away.
The individual hired by the owner who is responsible for painting my truck only sprayed heavily over the problem, never corrected it as it showed up again a year later. Now I have a much worse problem dealing with rust that has been building up beneath the paint, bubbling up through the surface.
The paint tech had TWO opportunities to correct all of his mistakes since the original painting. He was dishonest & devoid of any work ethic. I am out a lot of money. Extremely disappointing......
