I had a situation here where the scale guy messed up on my wire that I brought in. They put the wrong thing in the system and I got barely any money for it, something didn’t seem right so I left a bad 1 star review. Abraham the owner reached out to me about the situation and helped solve the problem that happened and gave me what I was actually was supposed to get plus more. Some owners don’t really care about reviews and don’t care about helping out, but he really cared about it. I appreciate the help and for reaching out. So I’m giving a 5 star review for this place!
Waited 30 minutes while the car in front of me unloaded an eight hour workday. Weighed in a 36 pnd muffler stainless steel/aluminum, ticket was faded and could barely be read. Had no idea what it was worth until I waited another 10 minutes at a trailer with the most enthusiastic employee to be handed a whole three dollars. Would’ve been better off leaving it curbside instead of wasting my time with them, glad I didn't get a flat tire while driving through there, that would’ve made it even better. Should’ve brought in a shopping cart of cans , might of paid out more. Place is a scam, 1% profit for you, 99 for them. Don’t waste your time!
Feel like I got shorted pretty sure they weighed the scrap with out me in my truck and then on the out weight had me get on the scale with the empty truck and got less then what I usually get for a large truck full of scrap
They’ll wait until you get off the scale and approach the window to weigh you in, and then make you stand on the scale when they weigh you out. I told the guy at the checkout window that my weight in did not include me but he wouldn’t listen.
And forget the messages below from the owner saying they want you to call in and address concerns. I called in twice, left messages, and no call back. This place ABSOLUTELY tries to rip you off. It’s intentional. Avoid them.
Waited 3 hours in line, droped 500+ pounds in iron got only $39.00 for it all. Then charged me $22.00 for a 56 lbs pice of metal that was the right size I needed for a project. Place is a ripoff. Did not even get payed for copper and aluminum i dropped off.
There was some issue with the weight but the manager came out and solved the issue very quick and nice. Amazing customer service and the best prices. Can't beat it. Definitely coming back.
It is a little hard to figure out what to do when you get there. I chose to go right up on the scale and be weighed and tell them what I had, and then it went from there. The most important of all, I got way more money than I was expecting to get and I’m very happy with them. Just be patient. It’s a little confusing when you get there for the first time, because there’s kind of two areas you could go, but I recommend going up on the scale first and getting weighed and telling them what you have and then they’ll direct you from there.
Always a great experience. Easy. I'm in and out quick. I just love the fact that you can just back up and dump your scrap aluminum on the ground and not have to use bins. Makes the process so much easier and quick.
I’m new to scrapping and chose this place because of the good reviews. I’ve been 3 times now and have gone through bother the Ferris and non Ferris lines and so far my experience has been smooth and hassle free. I will definitely be using this scrap yard in the future.

I went to scrap some metal I had laying around and googled places online and found this place. There was a very nice gentleman that worked there who informed me my tire was flat, thank you for that act of kindness, it's fixed. When I went to check out the two gentlmen in the box offered free water and were very kind. If I ever have to scrap again I'll be back.

I really like this place, they make recycling fast, simple, and easy. I’m usually in and out of there in less than 10 minutes. Their prices are comparable to other recycling centers. The staff is accommodating and friendly. I gonna start bringing them all my scrap metal because a lot of the other places you’re waiting in line for a couple hours. These guys are fast!

Went for the first time today!!! They staff was extremely helpful. Met a feller name Moe. What a great guy. My grandson thought he was cool.
