This place was great. Didn’t even know it was here and stumbled on it. Lots of shops, friendly people and food at the front. Will return in the future!

We go there every year we come down. Was pretty chilly this year so a few of the vendors were closed. But still plenty to see and fun food

Couldn't find much in our price range. Understandable. Im sure booth rental is expensive.

There for only a few minutes. The concession we were looking for was no longer in service as the vendor has lost his house in the hurricane. Everyone we did encounter was very nice however.

It's fine I guess. I'm not really a flea market kind of guy but I've been here several times with family. Big place, lots of vendors, but also lots of empty slots. I've never actually bought anything here because it all just seems like random knick-nacks and gizmos and random stuff. The one big used book store vendor had lots of books but it was kind of dusty and dirty. Also several of the book shelves had clear evidence of drywood termites. Probably the whole building has termites. They had a kind of fun back to school event to give out supplies. A little confusing at first how it worked but good.

I had just returned from a vacation and spotted this flea market and it became a nightmare and the worst experience of visiting a flea market ever.
I say this as I have been going to flea markets since the 1970s and I had just in the process of buying some gifts when I was approached by a tap on the shoulder and a man who identified himself as the general manager named David saying if you would like to sell things you can do it inside I can sell you a spot.
I said "hi Santa no thank you I'm just cleaning out my car and taking a photo and I'll be going in there in a few minutes to spend money."
I just got done buying a case of soda from a nice lady vendor near the front who is so polite she gave me some Mexican Day of the Dead masks that I can give out to my fellow workers I did not get her name but I just walked back to my car to place them inside and was repacking the two suitcases.
I had been on a long trip and it was just sorting out the toiletries the gifts my dirty clothes and it was not trying to sell anything I was just cleaning out my car packing so I got more room to spend money for Christmas gifts at this fle.
This guy said "I am David the general manager here and you cannot sell anything" and I told him I was not trying to sell.
Why would I try to sell Dominican Republic rum without a liquor license on top of a hot car on a hot day does that really make any sense?
He went on to say I am going to call the police and have you trespass and I laughed at him so I waited 30 minutes in the hot sun for the sheriff to arrive.
I explained what was going on he told me that the general manager of the flea market thought I was selling things and asked me if I would just pack up and leave or he was going to have me trespass which I understood.
I'm not going to argue with Johnny law so I packed up everything however the real losers are the vendors because I had over $5,000 to spend on Christmas gifts there in about the only vendor I met was the Spanish Man who sold me some fruit and the lady who sold a case of sodas for $6 I was going to come back and buy some more as well as buy more things in the flea market but since David was being aggressive and kind of a jerk I packed.
What irritates me the most is unprofessionalism and greed because he was a bean counting goniff and he wanted to squeeze out some money for me when I was clearly not selling anything.
I asked him to prove this and he could not because nothing happened I was just a regular customer.
I have a full-time job I'm also an entertainer so I have enough money where I don't have to worry about standing in 90° heat to sell a $5 bottle of Dominican Republic rum.
I think it's really pathetic that he talks to total strangers this way he has no idea who I am but he turned out to be the biggest jerk I have ever met at a flea market in over 40 years.
I would avoid this place at all costs unless you want Santa to try to extort money from you.
Pathetic man he was what a horrible way to greet a stranger.Dec 21, 2025 -
I thought this FLEA MKT. was GREAT! Also did I mention it's air conditioned? Lots of new merchandise not used.

It is December now, and busier than ever. Lots of vendors with a wide variety of resale and homemade craft items, and several food options. We went at 8 a.m. on a Saturday and many people were already enjoying alcohol, lol. Lots of dogs, too!

Not enough business and it costs WAY TO MUCH FOR A SMALL SPOT and not enough customers. PLUS YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM TO KEEP THEIR ELECTRICITY AND TRASH GOING??!! they FAVOR VENDORS and likewise. If you are a permanent seller, you will be able to do whatever you want? But expect to notice that ‘HER’ ONLY FAVORITE PPL CAN GO AGAINST THE RULES IN THE CONTRACT BECAUSE THEY HAVE A PERMANENT SPOT, AND FAVORITISM PLAYS A HUGE ROLE. You pay upfront but PLEASE ASK AND WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING BEFORE SIGNING. SOOO MUCH I CAN SAY BUT I WON’T. Good luck

Went arrived at 10am on a Sunday in mid November. Roughly half of the vendor stalls were either empty or closed. Basically all we got was a little excersise walking past empty booths. It wasn't worth the 10 minute ride to get there.

The worst flea market ever…. They reward their bullies and blame their victims… they allow their vendors to attack other vendors verbally in front of customers and try to get rid of the victims. The manager caters to the bullies who should not be allowed to be around people because of the way they treat others. This bully vendor has bullied anyone who she thinks is competition until she can’t take it anymore and calls the victims trash because the victims stand up to her. She sells crap trinkets and actually interferes with other vendors sales by saying “we have Michael kors bags over here”. It’s supposedly against the flea markets policy to do that but they don’t do anything about it. They loose the victims who were good vendors who didn’t bother anyone except for the bully and they keep the bully… not a good look

Visited on a Friday. Not many places open. Was not impressed with the prices of women's clothing. Not flea market prices. Place was a bit depressing.

Disappointed that so many booths are gone right now, but understand that the snow birds have headed north. Business is slow, but it's easier to park and find bargains @

Seems like this place is doing what it can to hang on but there were huge sections with no vendors and many of them not open on the Friday we went. Of course I'm sure during the weekends it's busier. Does remind me of the good old-fashioned flea markets that existed 30 years ago here in Florida. Like malls, these places seem like they are headed for near extinction. I hope not, I've always enjoyed them.

Had the most amazing FREEZE DRIED CANDY at booth B31.
An absolute must even if you have to drive far.
I tried a FREE SAMPLE and was amazed.
What a culinary experience.
I bought all the inventory and chomped it down in one sittingJul 04, 2025 -
Went with my cousin and sister and I bought the most things! Had a good Thai milk tea from the Filipino place. Got a glass fish for my sister. Got a free Army decal. Lots of places were closed on Mother's Day but plenty to look at. Electric bikes, Mexican food, Thai food, pretzels.

Great deals, I have a wide assortment of things you may want and need. this place is large and you will be doing a lot of walking. They have different vendors. There's one for hot sauces and they have a huge assortment of hot sauce . Cool stores with watches.

Very interesting place with a lot of booths selling everything; clothes, golf balls, jewelry, wigs, towels with hilarious sayings, socks… One could spend a lot of time there or like me make one loop around. I went on a Friday, in season, and a lot of booths were closed ‘Only open Saturday’s’

I found a booth of hair accessories here, hidden gem, full of surprises. I came across this little booth while traveling from Canada, and I found that all the hair clips are handmade by the owner. They are beautiful and adorable, perfect for both little girls and young ladies. The shop owner, Laura, is interesting and genuine. She even gave us a small hair tie as a gift. Thank you so much for your service. Hope visit again next time.

A few days ago, I took my daughter to a hair accessories store here. The selection was very comprehensive, and the seller even makes some of the items by hand. They were really beautiful. We plan to go again this week. There were also some claw clips that I hadn’t seen before. We’ve discovered a hidden gem for girls!

This last time I went, I found a lady who made her own jewelry and lemonade. Great customer service. Her booth was at 89. I tell ya this lemonade is so good. It's definitely worth the price! My mom loved her cuff bracelet I got her. Her lemonade stand was called Shaken not stirred swfl.

It was hot but fun! (Fans and spotty A/C helped) lots of parking, vendors have everything from vintage to new, very small food area….fairly extensive menu. My husband especially loved the Cuban gentleman that rolled and sold cigars. Will return.

Scammer!!
I went into a man’s cologne store. He made it seem like I was getting a deal. I got home and looked up the cologne and it was $13-20. He charged me $55. Im a 22 woman and I think he took advantage of that. If you don’t want to pay over 60% of what something’s worth don’t go to his store.Apr 19, 2024 -
The flamingo Island flea market was fun, it's a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours. It's divided into two rows with many different kinds of shops. Lots of clothes. Wonderful food, even fresh vegetables and fruits. Some items were movies and games and pokémon cards. Others were crystals and incense soaps and oils. There was a little bit of something for everyone.

It's my first visit and probably not my last. I really liked the Filipino eatery that was there and there was some other things that I thought were different but it was worth a try and I don't regret doing it.

Great little stores, inexpensive items to take home as souvenirs. People are friendly and helpful. 2 aisles lined up with stores that sell whatever you might need. Great outing experience to kill time. Early Saturday morning shopping was very quiet, great time to go before the crowds come in. Also has a few places to eat and drink a brew and people watch, if that's what's floats your boat.

There are great prices here on everything under the Sun. I got a brand new putter for $40. All the sunglasses I liked and tried fit like a glove. This is a great place to go looking for items you want that are too expensive everywhere else. The food is great too, but not so healthy!

First time visit to the Flamingo Flea Market, which to me was more of an open market, with small well designed stores. I would have to say, it was a most enjoyable experience, from the vendors to the food court, to the customers. It was clean and well lit. The only reason I gave it 4 stars, instead of 5, were the aisles were quite narrow. Realizing there is no way to correct that, I would post signs that ask people to try and stay in a single line to the right, so people can pass. I think this would facilitate a much more enjoyable shopping experience. Maybe this has been tried, not sure if it would lead to other problems? Anyway, just a thought.
Best wishes for a Happy New Year!
