Everyone that works there is cool people but what I didn't realize is that taking my scrap there was literally screwing me out of 200 bucks. I had been saving for the last year and had 370 lbs of data cable alone at .61 a lb, about 60+ lbs of #1 electric wire which i was paid a little over $1 lb, and some other type of insulated copper which also was at like .55 a lb. The next Monday I went to work and was telling a guy I worked with who scraps often and told me I got screwed come to find out a place not even 20 mins away in Leesburg inter county recycling paid 1.00 a lb. So I called up there and sure enough cat 6 is bought at 1.00 a lb. #1 at $2.00 a lbs and the other wire at $2.00 a lb. I don't understand how i could have gotten screwed out of so much money I easily lost out on over $200 bucks and after saving for an entire year I'm beyond pissed. Won't be coming back
This is not a bad scrap yard I highly recommend if you need some quick cash the staff is very friendly and gets down to business I only do business with them and one other scrap yard on the West Coast.
Do not take your scrap metal to this place huge rip off brought my copper here and got ripped of a dollar the normal per pound price and I brought 206 pounds and got ripped off 180 dollars and then proceeded to say they can’t return the copper I JUST brought in it was at the very top of the pile with markings on it and then told me to leave
I had a dryer I was taking to the dump, I wondered if maybe a recycle place would take it, They gave me $6 for it, the next day I was leaving home, I drove around my neighborhood and found a refrigerator, stove, and propane grill out for trash, I put them in the back of my truck, took them to recycle, and they gave me $21, some days I drive around all day and get nothing, Scrapping doesn't make minimum wage, but it's a little extra money on trash day, copper pays good, but I've found at 5 cents a pound for steel, I make the most bringing in 900 lb loads of steel, the staff are friendly and helpful,
Very friendly staff and organized and clean yard. However, they pay far far below for e scrap which makes their "IT" in the name very misleading. Was paid $4 for over $11 worth of scrap. Motherboards are paid out as breakage even if removed. .14 instead of 1.35. Not a life-changing problem but definitely not enough for lunch
Jason showed up at previously agreed upon time with a friendly attitude. Was very helpful and assisted emptying bins of scrap wire. Very quick service, was onsite and bins emptied within 15 min allowing for our work day to start on time. Will definitely be using them in the future! Thank you for a great experience.
I your looking for a honest scrap yard that will not rip you off and doesn't rig the scale RecycleiT is definitely the place to go and to top it of they all seem like decent guys, most of the scrap I have been to, the guy running the scale always has a additude, but not josh or any of the other guys so go check them out you wont be sorry...
I have been recycling for decades. The staff are friendly and service is fast. You can see from the efficient operation they intend to get you in and out quickly! Close to main road, Recycle it, makes it even easier to recycle. UPDate.- metal prices are high. That trash is worth something ! A few bucks extra is a great feeling!
Honestly, didn’t want to give any star don’t deserve it from me. I took a dryer, stove, 3 propane grills remind you one of them was all aluminum. All for $30 I could have not rented u-haul truck an just hauled it to the curve waste my time. They say price changes, yea for us but to them they pay checks get higher. Don’t recommend get ya cash elsewhere…
Iv been going to the Recycleit to scrap my materials and the employees there are very helpful the ask if I need help unloading and they also separate my scrap and get me more I'm glad they take care of there customers
BEST SCRAP PRICES AROUND!! I was blown away that there offering me 50 cent more a pound on copper than the last 4 places I called!! I won’t recycle metal anywhere else! By far the best PRICES in central Florida!! They were really fast and helpful. Also I feel the need to point out this is the cleanest and most organized scrap yard I’ve ever been to. IF YOU WANT THE MOST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK, it’s worth the drive.
Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable! Over the years I have been to all the metal recyclers in the area. At Recycleit they get you in and out fast!! Best of all they don't nit pick your metal like the other guys. RecycleiT is well worth the drive and there open on Saturdays!!

I can't believe I let them take my scrap. The price I got for the amount didn't add up with what I brought in. I was told one thing and when it came time to get my receipt and the money, the story changed. I told them I wanted my scrap back and they wouldn't and told me if I didn't like it to not come back. They never checked my ID they never even got my name, I was scammed. I swear to tell everyone I talk to about my most terrible experience in dealing with this scrap yard. I am still upset and have lost that much more trust I had left in local business.

Brought some scrap steel and 2 motors to RecycleiT, they helped me unload, weigh them and quickly gave me the cash. Moreover, they have all new staff from a number of months ago and have REALLY cleaned the scrap yard up. It is the place to go and recycle.
I have been bringing recyclable aluminum here for years. The service is quick and very pleasant. And the grounds are clean so I don't worry about foreign objects in my tires like at other recycle places. :)
March 2019 I brought an old gas stove that finally gave it up after many years of good service. My truck , with the stove in the back, was weighed very promptly, I was directed to the spot of drop off and it was removed from my truck immediately. My truck was weighed again and the owner paid me for the weight of the stove and off I went. Total time spent there, less than ten minutes. Good service and very courteous people.

Friendly people and I didn't have to move anything out of my truck or trailer. This was my first time at this place and I had no problems of any kind. It's a good place to go.
1st time there for me, was today. The employees were very nice and helpful. I was in and out with ease. Made $154.00 for my scrap metals that were piled up behind my garage. So now I have a clean yard and cash in my pocket, could not have been better.
