Got a call from the sheriffs office that my 20 year-old son was stuck miles in the woods. He sent a text to 911 thru Starlink saying his truck was stuck in mud on back roads. Thats all we knew. We were frantic and the sheriff directed us to three towing companies. We called the first two and they could not help saying it was too muddy out there. We called Kling with fingers crossed. As soon as we got on the phone with Tim, we knew we were in great hands because he was so reassuring. He sent Kevin out to find my son and his girlfriend. It was getting dark so it was a race against time. Kevin said to me not to worry, he’ll drive around all night until he finds them. He found them just about dusk and towed them out just as the sheriff was sending cruisers to search. Our son called us once he got cell service back and apologized for the inconvenience. We’re just glad he’s safe and are so thankful that we found Kling Towing Company. I highly recommend this company. They were the answer to our prayers!
DJ arrived quickly and got our towed to the garage in less than an hour! Great service! He was friendly, competent, and knew his way around The Villages to get me to where I needed to be. God forbid we should need towing again soon. But, if we do; we know who we’re calling!

The driver who eventually showed up was awesome. My insurance company contacted Kling. The initial ETA was 75 minutes. Then it dropped to 60. The first tow truck was ten minutes out and the sun was setting when Kling decided I wasn’t a priority. I let them know I was a woman alone and a rural road waiting for help. It didn’t matter. I waited another hour in the dark. I’ve asked my insurance to use a different towing company if I ever need help again.
Friend of mine had a flat tire down on the side of the road in a spot where her Jack would not fit under the car. I had to take another tire to get replaced. Bringing the tire back to put on took a little longer. Tow driver got there before good tire got back. Almost didn't have someone there to place it on. Rushing...
Service was as promised, prices exsorbantly high....$500 x hour travel time too and from shop. Over $1000 dollars in travel. Not consumer friendly prices. Get a quote first and ask what the travel time is before committing to a lift. This way you won't get surprised buy a staggering high bill. Prompt service but mind blowing high travel prices.
I had the pleasure of meeting Tim from Kling towing last night. He’s an awesome guy. My semi truck was stuck with a full load on it. I reached out to Kling towing in the middle of night Tim was there in no time to winch me out Kling is by far the best towing company I’ve ever dealt with they truly provide excellent 24 hours service
Had to be towed after my car was flooded and was lucky to have it done by this company! DJ was amazing and made the process feel as smooth as possible considering the situation. Very personable people who are eager to help and do things the right way.
My car got stuck in flood water and wouldn’t turn on I waited 2 hours for another company that never showed up gave this amazing company a call got our driver within 30 minutes!! Our driver dj made the already crappy night much better great service and very nice my 5 year old and my very pregnant self are very grateful for the amazing and quick service
Just wanted to share an amazing experience with Kling and the tow truck driver , he was professional, polite . I was very impressed with the response time for them to pick up my vehicle an moving forward I highly recommend Kling Towing for assistance getting your vehicles off the road and to your mechanic . Steven and Carli were amazing to work with and I look forward to setting up a Fleet account with them for our Veterinary Mobile practice .
My family of three, plus my 20 mo old granddaughter were stranded on the freeway last night after my car broke down. My insurance contacted Klings and within 1 min we were contacted by their dispatcher. The truck to tow us was there within 20 min and then the owner showed up with his personal vehicle to pack up our belongings. He first took us somewhere to go to the restroom, then dropped our vehicle off at his company site and then took us to the IHOP at Wildwood where we had arranged for friends to come and pick us up. He and his wife were genuinely concerned for our safety and refused to take any money that I offered them. I can’t say enough to express my thanks to them.
Love and appreciate this company. Our family was traveling to Gainesville when the car stopped working on the middle of the turnpike. Our insurance transferred us to Kling and they were (1) quick (2) polite (3) BEYOND AMAZING. The owners themselves came and picked us up to help get us to a safe place to keep our baby safe and get her away from the busy road.
My front right tire blew out at 6:30on a Friday evening. I barely made it into the shopping center on 441 in Fruitland Park. My OEM lug nut wrench bent trying to get the lug nuts off. I called Klings. They were there within 15 mins and changed my tire. Given the time and day it was they were very fair with what they charged me and nice guys.
We just have to say they are an amazing company to work with although we had to wait a while. They were extremely concerned and called us several times to let us know their status. We worked with Hunter who came and picked us up and he couldn’t have been a nicer gentleman. And Cathy was incredible As the dispatcher. Overall, an incredible experience and they handled our sports car with kid gloves

Nothing worse than breaking down after a bad day at work, but then Stephen showed up to tow me. What a great experience. Premium service and a great experience. Highly recommend.
Zach was such a professional driver and arrived promptly when I had a tire blow out in the middle of the night. He kept in contact with me and made sure that my vehicle was towed in less than an hr. I cannot thank Kling or Zach enough for such courteous service and what seemed to be a true appreciation for the service they provide. Highly recommend from not only this experience but previous experiences as well. If I could give more than 5 stars I surely would! Thank you!
Had a Kling driver yesterday on my way home cut me off and proceeded to slow down infront of me with no break lights showing then proceeded to think on a dark rainy night it was a good idea to put all his back lights on to blind me. Just didn’t think it was very professional. Was my first bad experience with them
When we found ourselves in the need of a tow company to move our 5th wheel, it was recommended by our storage company to contact Kling Towing. They came the day we requested and Steve Carroll, our driver, was friendly, knowledgeable and provided excellent service. He took special care of our unit; as if it was his own. I don’t know where to start ! My husband had to have his semi towed by kling towing after a catastrophic fire. They did an excellent job with clean up and towing ! David got to spend most of a day with my husband after he got released from the hospital to salvage what he could . My husband had no funds on him no nothing only the few things he could save . This company let him sleep, fed him and had great hospitality and let him shower there . We will forever be thankful for this . Thanks to all the guys involved . I cannot begin to tell you how thankful I am for always showing up. We have had you guys tow us countless times for all of our “toys.” From old police cars, our classics, our everyday car to motorcycles. I cannot count on two hands how many times you've showed up for us in two years. You guys have always come through and never made us wait countless hours. Joshua has managed to tow us more than anyone else with Kling. If I could remember the other gentleman, I’d mention him as well. Kling towing is the best by far and I wouldn’t recommend anyone other than them. They will treat your vehicles better than anyone out there, they get you where you need to be and they are incredibly caring. Kathy in the office was wonderful as well. She stayed completely calm on the phone with me while I was having a full meltdown. Thank you all again!!!!
David was a superstar. Showed up promptly, offered advice and even after a ridiculous accidental detour due to AAA for the drop off location, he was so kind and friendly. Would absolutely recommend them and David in particular. He said they also have a shop in wildwood which I would absolutely utilize in the future if David is there.
DJ was amazing. Very informative and explained everything to me. Made sure I had all the contact information to where my car would be taken and even msg’d when he had dropped it off. From when I placed the call to when DJ was leaving with the car, it was all within a one hour span. Great overall interaction.
Needed a tow for my National vehicle and DJ came out to tow. While National Car Rental screwed up the drop off address and was completely disgusting in their phone conversation with DJ, he remained calm, professional and got a solution. He also gave me a lift to the car rental facility. Given the situation, it would have been easy to lose it, but DJ was absolutely phenomenal, incredibly helpful patient and I would definitely use Kling again if I needed to. Phenomenal company!!!
Josh Rutner of Kling Towing did a fantastic job on October 21 in towing my car long distance. He really knows the business well and deals with everything thrown at him with ease and drama-free. He went the extra mile for me and accommodated my vehicle with precision and the utmost safety and care. He is a stellar employee who has paid his dues, worked thru hurricanes, and did the tough work to help our state recover from these wicked disasters. He is to be commended for his professionalism and dedication. Rest assured when Rutner gets your call, he is on it, and success is the result.
Leaving work on lunch, my truck broke down in the middle of the highway, within 20 minutes Kling was there to get me with one easy/quick call. Josh Lloyd was my tow truck driver, excellent care & professionalism! I wouldn’t call anyone else for my tows! Thanks again guys!
I’m moving soon and needed to relocate a Jeep that doesn’t run at the moment. I spoke with Kevin and in no time at all, Corbin was at my house. Very friendly and professional. It was clear that he knew exactly what he was doing and he got it done right! Very efficient. I highly recommend.
Kling Towing should get 10+ stars! They have assisted my son after an accident from start to finish with true, top notch customer service. They completely surpassed what I would think a towing company’s responsibilities should be! They are extremely professional and compassionate people.
