Had what I needed a whole front end White in good shape ( probably will paint it) for a 2002 jeep Liberty. So that was shocking. Very friendly and patient with a stressed out lady hoping I was getting the right thing. So they assured me very nicely . Recommend if ever in need.It was half the price of anywhere else even on Internet.
Open Mon thru Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. So what person who works for a living can take time off during the week to look for a part you need for the car or truck thats gets them to work? Not me. Most people that utilize a pick your part can only get there on a weekend. Well the local AutoZone and others really appreciate you for making it so easy for them. I would like to say that i wont be going there for anymore but thats obvious. We can order the part on Saturday and get it before the next Wednesday from eBay. I would prefer to get it local. Thats is not possible. At least not from here.
I used to go to Gavin's long time ago when prices were actually cheaper and now I don't even recommend Gavin's cuz they're so overpriced anymore can't go back there you have to wait up to an hour or so to get help they have to pull it I mean they may have a lot of vehicles that you need but I don't think it's worth the price cuz some of their prices I can get it brand new for that price I just don't recommend any more I would give better stars but just overpriced and you don't know what it looks like and can't guarantee if it looks like crap or not
Bought a transmission put it in did not work with no problems they exchanged the transmission with no questions asked the second transmission was perfect with no problems andhonored their warranty
I called and asked for a part, a rude guy on the phone answered and told me he would look for the part and call me back. That Was on Monday Aug. 7th, it is now Thurs. Aug. 10th and no call back. I've called them multiple times since but it goes directly to voice-mail. Very disappointing
This was a great yard before Covid. Not always the friendliest people, but there's usually somebody good to deal with. Easily a location where you can make friends with someone there.
The owners have a long history in auto salvage in this area, and have a good reputation for being fair and honest.
Since Covid they became a full service yard, and no longer allow pulling of your own parts, so I haven't been back.
I'm sure there's still good folks here.
Great and very helpful staff. I never leave there empty handed. Also have a parent company called after hours auto salvage. One of them will have what you need or they will find it for you.
Gavins sold me a radiator and within a week it started to split apart They gave me a 90 day warranty. I asked If they had another one. they said no so I went to get my money back and since I couldn’t find my receipt, they wouldn’t give my money back so Gavins is not a good place to go to the best place to go to. Kids runnin the front with no knowledge of what they r doin. Called for part said they have it long ride there n of course they don't have it. Need to restaff or train the staff they have to at least know what they r saying to folks. Worst yard yet
Great yard been going here since I was a kid sucks it isn't a u pull now but maybe if people stopped stealing stuff that'd be different it is what it is still best yard In Marion county
I haven’t been there in awhile but every time they are great they point you where you’ll find parts if you need help they are around. They let you wander the lot and you find what you need I don’t go elsewhere unless they don’t have it,but that’s a rarity.
We were extremely pleased with the service and products! The guys were helpful and pleasant to speak with. Even tolerated my crazy toddler running around while we waited with such grace.
I've always loved gavins. But, I drove all the way there to find out it's not a u-pull-it anymore. :( my favorite yard is no more. Probably wont ever be back. I'll miss y'all.
Staff was helpful and quick to get the parts that I needed. Will definitely stop by again when in need of parts.
This is a salvage in which you ask for a part and THEY go get it, not the conventional you-go-get-what-you-need type of salvage.
I'm not a fan as this raises the price of the parts when I can do it myself, but I know why they do it. It was nice not being in the sun, in a hot car getting a part. That's for sure.
Perhaps find a way to do both options, depending on the customer?
I had been going to Gavin's for 20 years and now it is no longer a u pull it ugh the inventory they have is old must of the cars and trucks are strip of parts it's sad and they will not be open long they do not have anything newer than 2010 models so good luck with that the prices they want you can get new online
Had to get a couple parts needed for high mileage car and the price is very fair, the lot is organized for easy navigation to what vehicle matches closest to yours
Went over there today, found the parking lot empty and a chain with a DO NOT ENTER sign across the gate. Was told by the guy that "I must not know that it's no longer a U-Pull it yard anymore, as of August 1st"? Now THAT sucks because I have been using Gavin's U-Pull It for about 4 years now. It will be missed.
No longer a "You Pull It" cant even go in. I buy and sell vehicles and I usually go there to find parts I need. Cant do that now. What a joke. I can tell them what I need and then what, I have to wait and hope they get the right functional parts and hope they're not junk. What a JOKE ! Never will go there again. Ill buy off Amazon or a parts store. Very dissapointed . Lots of people I know go there. Not after I tell them this BS. Theyll prob be outta buisnes soon. Too bad so sad .
Place is joke now apparently at some point they decided to stop being a u pull when I go to a junkyard it's for parts for my s10's or my sons jeep cherokee that he is slowly restoring just my my s10's so it is nice to be able to go in and look thru the vehicles for parts you need well Gavin's has lost me as a customer and I will be telling everyone I know not to use them and not recommend to anyone anymore
They have a lot of stuff. They had what we needed and the price was right. They were very polite and also checked the computer to make sure our part was a match.
Organized, knowledgeable and affordable. I drive 35 minutes to get here when I could drive 15 to a different one. Gavin's U Pull It Inc is my go-to place.
Any time I need a part Gavin's is the first place I look..

Gavins u pull has very good service, excellent selection, always getting new cars and trucks, and what a great price. I have been doing my own repairs for years, just found out they will lift the car for you to remove axles, too. Let's just say they are my first choice, just wish they were open Monday.
