Cant seem to do there damn jobs i was waiting for an hour after the lunch break was over and they still didnt open up and it was like that the day before seriously get a grip
Staff is incredibly helpful and generous with pricing for the condition of parts. Live far away but would travel just to come here, Adam was very keen to help us find the car we were looking for.
I give this place 5 star's, I go here mainly to scrap metals, people here are always polite, I've never had any issues, actually I think of it as a learning process talking to people there can be educational.
I was corrected on afew things while being there, and I owned up to my honest mistakes and corrected them
I recommend this Place to everyone,
p.s. Just an update July 2024 I still standby what I stated above this is the best place to go to scrap and or look for car part's. 5+ Stars.
This place is okay at best. The entrance where you actually walk into the yard is always flooded so you have to tip toe around 6 inch deep puddles just to walk in. Nobody ever thought to maybe put down some gravel? The staff are kind of ornery for what seems like no reason. I got the feeling like I was more of an annoyance than a customer the first time I showed up .
This place is a joke if you have scrap go across the street to get top dollar. These people are crooks and want to give you a quarter of what it's worth every where else
Our family was down here on a family vacation from New York State and I needed a gas filler neck for my daughters car and to find one in a wrecking yard in NY that is not rotted out is a miracle. Looked at their inventory online and called to confirm the vehicles were still there as they confirmed they were. Got there and they were super helpful at pointing out were they were and condition of the part was like new. Took it upfront and their pricing was fantastic. Very helpful and would do business with them again in a heartbeat. Thanks for the great service.
September 26, 2022!!! Indian River Auto Salvage. Hello I want to tell you how wonderful this recycle center is! Great service great service Bobby has a wonderful wonderful attitude! My daughter got a flat on I-95. No one in town (and to Melbourne) had a tire in the size i needed. IR U pull it had one! We come here now first! For anything we need!
Came here from Port St Lucie, we were told we needed to get shoes from the dollar store. We went and spent $30 on some cheap shoes and then I had my bf go and ask if there were any other restrictions and to explain we had our baby. The lady walked away as he was explaining, very rude and did not want to listen to anything he had to say. As I grab the baby and start walking towards the yard, the same lady said “I didn’t know you had a baby”. Of course cause when we tried to tell you, you walked away and did not give af about what we had to say. I explain I will not be anywhere near any cars and the baby will be in my arms again. Lady walks away once again, frustrated. The other lady (blonde) came at us with an attitude and said babies aren’t allowed, cutting us off when we tried to understand the reasons and explain the baby is not touching the floor or going near anything there. Walks away as we’re talking. Do NOT waste your time and go somewhere where they know how to treat customers. If I could leave 0 stars I would. And if management reads this, teach your employees how to talk to people. That would get you fired at a decent establishment, but obviously nothing will happen to these two. I recommend the junkyards in Stuart or even Fort Pierce, much better treatment and pricing. And yes I left this knowing my name will be out there.
My son and I found everything we were looking for pulling parts for his truck. We needed a truck lifted off the ground to get the parts we needed. Saved some cash and found good parts. Only complaint is the vehicles are all on the frame rather than being off the ground like at other junkyards. But the guys were helpful with lifting the truck up for us so we could get our parts.
Everyone there was helpful. We found exactly what we needed in a very short period of time. It was much cheaper than I expected when paying for what we needed. We will be regular customers here especially while fixing our truck. Everyone should come check them out whether you are in need of parts or selling metal.. great prices and very helpful employees!
The new owner seriously need to learn manners the young lady at the from desk super professional however the owner and the new crew very unprofessional had to call the police on the owner for trying to rip me off!! Anyone in the business of scraping do not go there!! It's a shame I miss Shannon and his crew!!
Very much enjoyed and had a non stressed experience at the yard the young lady at the office was polite and easy to work with and answered all my question also was very knowledgeable off the yard and the vehicles in the yard something hard to find I'll definitely be returning
I live in Port Saint Lucie. Called before I took the ride over there about some fenders for a Ford Super Duty. Guy said that they were in great shape over the phone. After a good 45mins drive, I get there and the fenders were trash. This place must of switched owners. It used to be good before
I called them and asked if they’d be interested in a 1990 Mercedes 420 SEL? The lady I spoke with said they would give me $300 for it. I thought their offer was low, but I went ahead and agreed to it. After they came and loaded it onto their flat bed truck, the driver says they can only give me $200 for it because the catalytic converter wasn’t original. I don’t know if it was or wasn’t, but I feel they should’ve told me it would be $100 less prior to loading it up on their truck. The lady I spoke with on the phone never said their offer was subject to change. Seems a little shady to me. If I didn’t have to go out of town the following day I probably would’ve told the tow truck driver to just unload it. I’m not sure I’d recommend this business to others.
These guys suck. Everything about them suck . Tried charging me $60 for a headlight and a tail light. Thought it might be better under new management. It's not
They have the best price and what I like about them is that eventhough is a junk yard they give you warranty on parts. What else can I said.. and they so respectfully to all persons everybody get the same value and respect.. I like them...very good experiences I have and satisfied..
Absolutely EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ordered a part on Thursday that was supposed to arrive on Friday. On Friday morning before 10a Ken called to let me know that the driver was a little delayed and that although the office is normally closed on Saturday, he would personally meet me out front to deliver my part. Excellent customer satisfaction!
Worst operation wont let u pull your own parts as they advertise false advertising. Only have one guy pulling parts which they are clueless. A guy said he had been waiting for employee to come back to front with pulled part as he had been waiting two hours and prepaid . Avoid this place at all cost. A customer also called in while I was there and had waited a week and they still had not pulled his part. This place is a joke, plus they have no published price list.
We came to pick up a bumper and were told that we needed different shoes for insurance reasons which was entirely understandable. What was absolutely ridiculous is how insanely rude the guy in front of the office was! I do my best to support mom and pop businesses but treating customers horribly and being rudely sarcastic is inexcusable. I always wonder why I barely ever see customers here. This must be why
First i went to Mr. Scraps looking for a tire rim and the dude wouldn't even give me the time of day or acknowledge my existence. Went across the street and not only was the guy friendly but went well out of his way to help me find exactly what I needed! The price was so reasonable and the guy so helpful I have him an extra $5 for helping me out of a bind.
Jose and Danny are great guys! Hello out whenever needed, answer questions, have no problems telling you what and where to put things and make it easier on everyone! They deserve a raise or a better parking spot lol... A raise would be great in sure! Plus Danny is a football fan and a fins and hurricane fan!!

Called to ask how much I could get for my old AC unit. They said at least 50-60$. Drive down there and they tried giving me bulk steel price because it wasn't torn apart in individual pieces. Offered 3$. Seriously? Don't give them your business.
They ripped me off. They cashier shorted me on my scrap and then would not give me a receipt. Upon calling, I was told not our problem, you signed, it is what it is. Either that is the company policy to short the public sellng their scrap or the cashier is making out by stealing from the customers.
