I had to pay a towing and storage lien of $503.00. This was after my insurance company paid them $450. They put a hold on any vehicle I tried to register in Florida state. I couldn't register a car I had purchased until I paid them the $503.00.
Places is terrible Bad Business they use people and they try to sell your car !!!!! I’ve been making payments on my car for eight months now and they’re threatening to sell my car. Please be careful with this place. They are evil people..
I rented a 15 foot U-Haul truck, which I was told it was the truck that they used for all in town transporting. I got in the truck, started it up and instantly fire ants flew out of the AC all over me all over my legs all over my arms in there driveway I got out and was trying to wipe them off of me I ended up dumping half a bottle of water on me and on the floorboard of the driver side, fire ants get in from parking ur vehicle under the trees. I did not go up to the office Window to let her know because I had a certain amount of time, so I had from 596 old Dixie towards 66th and 26th and Lowe’s was on my way so I stopped and purchased ant spray. By now that I was already bit multiple times by the fire ants luckily I had a bottle of cutter insect repeller with the aloe vera it’s mosquito spray that I sprayed the ants with prior to getting to Lowe’s. Rented it Thursday retuned it Friday 11 am picked it up at 11 am. So 24 hours drove 17 miles . I get it loaded and go to shut the back door and it’s broken. Stuck like chuck. Now I weight a buck 127 , and not enough weight to get it unstuck. I called the number on door didn’t help, took me almost 45 mins to get the door unstuck . I requested to woman on Friday morning that maybe she could give me half of my refund amount back that is the actual Because of the infestation of fire ants and the six bites and the 45 minute or deal with the door, not to mention the brakes grinding. It’s not there fault but I’m sure that they knew it had a ant problem had I not had to deal with those issues I would of had it back that day possibly. I just want want my refund. If u call someone make sure your calling the correct number . Yes my card is locked. Rather then to mail a check to address I do not live at and haven’t lived at for years. Just bad service. Bad customer services. So I’m sorry I wouldn’t allow u to finish ur sentence but I was trying to explain to you what happened to see if u were the woman who worked those 2 days. But everyone always says no that wasn’t me.. regardless I’ll try to call the 1800 number . But before u rent from here I’d turn the truck on and vents and wait a few mins because I got tore up both days. So badly that my belongings also are going to have to be bombed now that’s how bad the ants were. It was horrible and again, not their fault but when I dropped the truck off the woman who took the key I told her about the fire ants.
Got their service through triple AAA for an extended out of coverage tow. Service was good, price was reasonable. Tow Truck Driver Casey was a really nice , helpful and respectful guy. Bri and Glenda in the office were nice and communicative. No issues or concerns
They were very helpful and understanding with getting my car out after a tow, something that couldve been a big inconvenience was turned into nice experience thanks to the wonderful women who works the front desk. Ignore all the reviews about the rudeness! If youre rude first of course youre going to get it back!

Terrible service. I paid to have my car towed to a charger and tried asking the driver to help me just get my charge started by jumping my 12v battery. He just dumped my car and left without even making sure I would be safe. Don't go to this tow service. Spend the couple extra bucks on someone who is going to make sure you're safe before leaving. And the customer service over the phone was terrible. Lady had an attitude in her voice and was suppose to call me back letting me know if a driver would be able to take me to a charger. Instead she just sent a driver. I emphasize again!

Absolutely horrible staff. Had an attitude the moment we spoke to them. After dropping our trailer off they charged us for "dropping off after hours" after we called in advance and they confirmed we could drop it off without ever specifying any charge (it was like 4 pm btw.) Then when I came back the next day and questioned them about it they got very aggressive and told me they were going to add a cleaning fee as well. Now I am in the midst of a Uhaul claim to get the charges cleared. Please, PLEASE avoid this horrible location, the workers need to focus more on their jobs than their next 2000 calorie lunch
I rented a u haul trailer and was directed to drop our trailer off here by Uhaul. They would not accept the trailer and 2 employees were extremely rude and yelling because I tried to drop the trailer before 9 am. I was there at 8:52am. There was a yard full of uhauls and I opened the gate and this older gentleman started loosing his mind yelling. He told me to call after 9am. I did so and the lady was nasty as well. I will never do business with these rude people
Dispatcher is absolutely the worst. This person should not be in the service. Business use this business through AAA, rude obnoxious. Condescending, they need to find a new contractor I've posted this with AAA they're going to look into it, they're going to set up test modules.

Worst experience ever with a tow company I'm in A Situation where I was wrongfully arresand it's going to trial, but they had impounded my rental vehicle with every one of my company tools inside of it along with a registered firearm. In my name, all legal and a court ordered interlock device for my personal vehicle. I was taking to get serviced. And now they will not allow me access to my property along with the court order device which now I have got extra charges and. Ride on a thin line of losing my own business because of this all simply because they are giving me the run around now. For almost a can help me cops can't help me.
These people. Are something special.

They responded to my friend's accident quickly but after that everything was down hill from there. Every phone call was rude. When we went to get her stuff the girl in the windows was rude, but accused me of being rude. I get that having people coming to get their stuff is not pleasant but rudeness is never OK.
My step father unfortunately was involved a very bad accident leaving his truck towed by DEFAULT and all of his belongings were in his truck at mikes towing. We spoke to the woman at the front desk to acquire his phone & wallet, most reviews along this thread are about the same thing. the woman who answers the front desk phone has a lot of studying and learning to do as far as customer service.
I have my customer service license & I spoke to her in the kindest manner I was taught to. She was extremely rude to me and my family & needs to be taught how to answer the phone since it is difficult for her to keep her composure and politeness. I wish the best for this company.
My car was impounded n car towed...$2700 tow bill n storage .was told no one is getting anything from the car unless bill is paid.if not paid owner license will be suspended 30 days..after speaking to my lawyer was informed tow company can't keep personal items from my car....prescriptions medical glasses n tools...very rude over phone .I can't afford the bill so offered title to get personal items n was denied..$500 hook up charge is crazy ..my car was pulled from a creek 2007 accord..driver was nice .just lied to about cleaning out my car..
I've been using uhaul at Mike's for our events on the weekends. Very easy pickup and return, the young lady at the front desk is very sweet. I will continue to use them. It's close to home, convenient and reasonably priced.
I was a victim of a total loss accident in which my elderly mom suffered a debilitating injury. I was informed my belongings that were inside my car were at Jerry's Towing. The next day I called Jerry's towing to see how much it would cost to get my car and they quoted me at $1045.00. I was flabbergasted, like how is it that much and it's only been there not even 24 hrs. The lady, became upset and started going off on me and saying, it's not my fault you don't have insurance (which I did), it's not my fault you got into an accident, like what? The worst customer service that I have EVER encountered in my life! To make things even worse, I had never had to deal with a car accident, so I was clueless to how the process works and she made the experience worse than what it was. I pray God calms her spirit, cause she gone come in contact with someone that's not gone tolerate no disrespect.
Your car breaks down, it sucks!! Mike’s towing made it as tolerable as possible. The woman who answered the phone was responsive, pleasant, and understanding. The tow truck arrived as promised, within one hour, and the driver, Antonio, was professional and so nice! I will definitely recommend this business and use them again if needed.
Stranded this past weekend about 30 miles east of Vero Beach off Rt 60. My car wouldn't start. I used my AAA app and was advised in a text message they are working on my ticket and will have an assigned tow truck. 30 minutes later I receive a recorded call stating due to heavy call volume there are still working on assigning me to a tow truck. Another 30 minutes and I receive another recorded message. After making the report at 11:30 am, receiving 2 recorded messages and 4 hours later...nothing! I called Charlies towing in town and they were out there in 45 minutes and towing my car. This was not my first experience like this with AAA and Mike's Towing. I have since canceled my AAA, asked for a full refund on my annual membership and submitted my out of pocket tow expense for reimbursement! So sad Mike's company can't do better to serve our community!
Horrible service for a uhaul rental. Rented vehicle for 2 hours- 10:30 am to 12:30pm . Different lady at the counter when I returned van. I received invoice next day with a high fee. When I called for explanation was told charged for extended rental. I was confused because I did not. woman said I was yelling and then dismissed me by saying “when I get around to checking our cameras” to see when I returned van. Tried to follow up I was hung up on. Called back they said they were closed. Unbelievable.
This review is about the Excellent Service I received from John who towed my vehicle. If you are looking for a review about the towing, please read on. It appears many of the negative reviews are about the UHaul Services and not the towing Services so they should be separate.
I called on a Sunday to have my car towed to a shop for repair. I was given a time approximately 1 hour which was fine with me. The truck arrived a few minutes early which worked out great.
My driver was John. He was very professional and meticulous about making sure my car went onto the flatbed perfectly. He secured it and checked it again to make sure it was properly on the flatbed. It should be noted my car is unique and has a piece to pull it up properly. He knew my 2003 car had this without even telling him. A real car guy!
I rode down to the shop with him.
When we arrived at the shop, John again was professional and meticulous about making sure my car came off the flatbed perfectly.
Again I hope people read the reviews and separate the UHaul reviews from the towing reviews if you are looking for a tow. I see someone else had a similar experience 2 days before I wrote this review! While this is a business I hope I never have to use again because it means I need my car towed, if that event occurs again I will use them. The picture has there phone number and address!
I understand most people that they are doing business with are in a difficult situation but friendliness and compassion goes a long way. Businesses should answer all questions by a customer if they do not have a website that you can get information from. It is not fair that they can be rude to their customers because they know that their customers are in mercy of them because they have their property. They should also be producing an eligible receipt. I do not even want to call and ask them what it says because I do not want to deal with them anymore. I would not recommend them.
Zach was my tow driver! He was very pleasant to interact with. They showed up in a timely fashion! Helped with what he could, delivered my truck to my house safely!

The receptionist is absolutely the most miserable person to answer calls. No customer service at all. Completely uneducated on vehicles. My ford transit van, she called a motorhome and refuse to tow. I tried to explain it is insured as a van and has been towed as a van multiple times. I have never done a review before but felt it was needed today to warn people about the Karen answering the phone.
This was my second attempt to get my van towed with them. The first attempt she refuse to tow with out me present and Did not give me even a second to get my neighbor over there. Completely unbelievably but seems to be the norm for this place.
