I just had the best experience here. I'm sorry I don't have names. But the front office woman was so kind, informative and patient. The older gentleman who let us in the yard to get to the vehicle was also very kind. They gave us 30 min to recover our things from the vehicle that was in an accident, and we were in and out with no issues. He even wished us well as we left and told us it'll get better. That meant a lot. Thank you jerrys towing
I moved to the area in March 2024. When people ask me how I like Vero Beach, I always tell them that one of the things I love is the how nice the people are. Well Jerry’s Wrecker Service changed that today. My son hit a wild boar on his way to school and ended up in a ditch. The IRC Sheriff’s Deputies couldn’t have been nicer. The Deputies took care of my son with compassion. IRC Sheriff’s Department has a contract with Jerry’s to tow vehicles. I don’t think they are aware of how rude and over priced Jerry’s is. Even the people in Miami were nicer than the group of women I dealt with here at this location. I was there long enough to notice all of the male workers were fed up with the way they were being treaded. My car needed to be pulled out of a ditch which I expected to pay more but when I saw the bill was over $600 and I was told this was a discounted price since I only had Liability insurance for this vehicle. Imagine what they charge the insurance companies. I will never get my vehicle towed by this company again if I can help it.
Had an accident here in Florida, Jerry’s was called to tow. Because I am from out of state I didn’t know where the shop was so I looked it up on line. Reading the reviews were horrific and unjustified in my experience. Each person we had contact with was extremely kind , empathic and helpful. Both ladies at the desk , who were being bombarded with calls , snippy folks were nothing but kind and helpful . To the crew at Jerry’s. Thank you for the kindness and help, 5 stars for all

front desk lady blonde was very rude , she was upset I was looking for MY vehicle and claims i was not allowed to take pictures OF MY CAR … she also demanded I put my phone away and stopped speaking in spanish because i was not allowed to do so ?! … If you are reading this I hope you have the day you deserve
I myself and multiple other family members have never had a good experience with this company. Always try and use local places and this is the worst local place in Vero Beach. Not one person there has a friendly manner. In my opinion as i’m reading these reviews they are looking at an end of this business. My suggestion is to stay far away and use ANYONE other than this company.
Wish it could be zero stars. I’ve used them for U-Haul rentals and never had any problems. This time my son’s car was towed from an accident and after this experience I will never patronize this place ever again! Unfortunately, the police said they use a rotation of towing companies and this place was up in the rotation. Their customer service, well there is none. They get away with it because when you’re in an accident you don’t get a choice on who tows you. They wouldn’t let the insurance adjuster in to look at the car and do his job. They wanted cash only! They have a sign up that says if you’re in the lot with your car longer than 30 minutes, there’s a $65 per 15 minute charge! How crazy is that?! Such a freaking racket! There are several towing companies all in one place so beware!
Absolutely outrageous service unprofessional to just about everyone who gets towed by them. The woman at the window has a nasty attitude and the driver who personal took my vehicle in was about as unprofessional as they come talked to my father absolutely any way he wanted and felt the need to add insults on top of the comments. These review show it’s an every day thing.

My car was towed and in their possession, tried to retrieve it on 12/22@11:30 am after calling the day before, only to be told that they were closed until Tuesday 12/26 ,but they were towing cars all weekend.

Any towed or removed vehicle or vessel must be stored at a site within a 10-mile radius of the point of removal in any county of 500,000 population or more, and within a 15-mile radius of the point of removal in any county of fewer than 500,000 population. That site must be open for the purpose of redemption of vehicles on any day that the person or firm towing such vehicle or vessel is open for towing purposes, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and, when closed, shall have prominently posted a sign indicating a telephone number where the operator of the site can be reached at all times. Upon receipt of a telephoned request to open the site to redeem a vehicle or vessel, the operator shall return to the site within 1 hour or she or he will be in violation of this section.
I was talking to a lady over the phone, I don't know who she is, but this job is not for her, she was yelling at me on the phone and hang up just because I was trying to see if there was other options than heading over to sign the release. She keeps saying over and over:" You need to come over to sign the release " and didn't give me a chance to say nothing else until she brutally hanged up the phone on my face.
She is so disrespectful.
She should be removed immediately or this shop should be closed....
I never leave bad reviews, but I decided this would be the first. From the moment I walked up, I was greeted with attitude and as if I was a bother to go to their business. One of the top rules of a company is to have a welcoming staff and excellent customer service. You'd think they would have some empathy for what people going through (accidents and/or theft). Sadly, this is the place our police department uses for accidents.
I do not typically write a bad review, as people do have bad days. However, these people are the furthest thing from ethical that I have ever encountered. And, the anger issues are unsurpassed. Stay far, far, far away from them.

Unbelievable experience! The most vile and evil a-holes that I have ever run into. Karma will catch up, especially to the two men-hating women running the place. My experience was on behalf of a cousin, whose car was stolen from Texas, and ended up recovered there. You would think I was the criminal. Never been treated so badly for nothing I did…(avoid the place)
The woman was very unprofessional, rude and physically chest bumped me! My friends were in an accident they were so upset! She made them so upset it was their first accident, and she was So Very mean and rude. They still have to go back. She was EVIL!
Client had vehicle towed here and i called because she was saying the lady at the tow yard was not giving her access to the vehicle. So i called to see what was going on to only discover that a lady answered the phone starting yelling that she was not going to let an authorized user of the vehicle and the registered owner of the vehicle into the yard. She wouldn't let me talk and or even listen as i asked her what is it that she needed as i told her Florida law requires her to let the registered owner into the yard. She kept yelling and said she was tired of schooling attorneys and clients and hung up the phone. I told my client to call the police if she didn't let them in! If the police get enough complaints they will stop using this wrecker service.
The woman at the front window is rude and purposely obnoxious. She lacks compassion and should not have a job dealing with the public. When you're in an accident, you probably can't choose where your wrecked car goes - but if you're healthy enough, don't let them send your car here!
I was a victim of a total loss accident in which my elderly mom suffered a debilitating injury. I was informed my belongings that were inside my car were at Jerry's Towing. The next day I called Jerry's towing to see how much it would cost to get my car and they quoted me at $1045.00. I was flabbergasted, like how is it that much and it's only been there not even 24 hrs. The lady, became upset and started going off on me and saying, it's not my fault you don't have insurance (which I did), it's not my fault you got into an accident, like what? The worst customer service that I have EVER encountered in my life! To make things even worse, I had never had to deal with a car accident, so I was clueless to how the process works and she made the experience worse than what it was. I pray God calms her spirit, cause she gone come in contact with someone that's not gone tolerate no disrespect.
The people at Jerry's Wrecker were very helpful & professional. The driver was called after my daughter got into an accident & totaled her car. He was there in 20 min, got the car loaded, told me he's glad she's ok, gave me the info i needed, and left. The ladies in the office are SUPER busy from open to close, but somehow seem to get it all taken care of. They even answered some questions I had for the insurance adjuster who wouldn't call me back. While I hope I don't have to deal with any of this again, I really appreciate the people at Jerry's Wrecker. Also, they have uhaul rentals as well, which is important to know, imo.
If I can give 0 stars I would, The lady at the front desk literally hates people and her job. You cannot reason with her at any cost. All we wanted was to pay for loading of our stored semi truck and get it loaded. Ended up being the worst decision ever. Had to hire a tow truck to come and pull it from their place. PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!!!
If I could give zero stars I would! Worst service I have ever witnessed not just experienced! There was no one to be seen inside so my father knocked on the door and we were met with the worst attitude FROM THE BUSINESS OWNER HERSELF -she claimed. Completely unprofessional/ inappropriate behavior. The ease she showed comfortably screaming at her customers, that were simply looking for help- true disgust. We asked what was the problem was, we knocked because we didn’t see anyone - immediately cuts us off to tell us we are lying because she was right inside the whole time……. We are still shock this was all for simply knocking on the door. After we paid for the truck she then told us she had every right and would purposely hold our vehicle hostage simply because she wanted us to wait hours to finally get it. Then told us we have to leave her property immediately without the truck we just paid for. We have been sitting here since 1pm right outside the gates of her property where our truck is inside …. Currently 5pm and after paying her , we now are paying for ANOTHER tow service to pick up our car from her property due to her simply being an evil, spiteful person!
Drivers are nice but the manager is the most obnoxious, unprofessional, and unethical person you will ever deal with. Absolutely avoid this place if you can. If your vehicle is towed there without your direction after an accident get it out of there as soon as possible or they will take advantage of you in the worst way.
Very rude and nasty lady operating the phones. Claims she is the vice President, not helpful at all. The Florida highway patrol should not use them. So disgusting
Nastiest most hateful jerks you could imagine. My daughter was in a horrible accident, not her fault. To deal with these creeps was like putting salt in a wound. Literally!
