Very efficient operation! I am not well versed in the scrap metal industry and cannot say if their payouts are competitive with other operations but they have a great system in place. Everyone was friendly and courteous on the day I visited. One washing machine and one f150 front bumper yielded $14 and change. That's a couple gallons of gas and some slurpees!
Couple of Months back , I was put in touch with an Agent named Iszak from a recycler out of Carrollwood. Iszak gave me great prices and the team who helped me was a great help in helping me seperate all the class of metals which I had saved up for about 10 years( the shed was packed full as was the wifey's car when I cashed all of it in). I can't divulge the numbers he gave me on the class' of metals, but he beat all the other recycler's in the Tampa area hands down. I would recommend Trademark anytime!. A while back I brought aluminum cans in five 32gal trash cans and six yard bags. The fork lift driver set the basket half on the scale with part of it resting on the dock. By the time I got the operator's attention the fork lift had hauled them away. It weighed in at 254 pounds. I informed him that the basket was resting on the dock and not offering a true weight . "It's fine , it was balanced" he said. Today I had the same five cans and only five yard bags, cans all crushed the same way by hand and taken to the sister facility, it came to 278 pounds. I knew he was ripping me off, they lost all future business from me.
For the average person going over the scales and off loading scrap your tires are in serious danger as the Tampa location is the worst about cleaning up where you have to drive and I no longer go there, after years of doing so as the flat tire repair cost and loss of time far out weighed the close location. I now go farther to a cleaner surface and hope I now have fewer flat tires. Was averaging a flat tire every third visit.
Don't ever go to TMR because they'll rip you off they stole 100 pounds of metal from me the guy pressed the button before the scale was done calibrating so I got screwed out of 100 pounds of metal
