Had to buy a car from here (Mona’s Motors) in a pinch. You get what you pay for. Found via post on fb marketplace thru someone called Ams. Very friendly initially but becomes increasingly difficult to reach by text or phone call once they make their sale. Car worked fine but dealer takes your money and drags out the title and registration process. You’re gonna have to be patient with these guys. Title transfer took 2 months to be processed. I never received my registration despite paying 450 for it. Dealer eventually offered a refund but only refunded $90 of the amount agreed upon. I assume his $ is tied up. He told me he’d request the registration funds from the DMV, which they only go to on Thurs, probably just buying themselves time. Told me he’d Zelle me from another number but never did. Two temp tags later and many wasted trips to their dealership (because they wouldn’t respond to calls or texts), I have a working vehicle but lost $360 and had to pay registration out of pocket.
I’m leaving a review on behalf of my dad as he’s not good with these things. He bought a car from here a little over a month ago and they have yet to file the paperwork so he can get the title. He’s called numerous times and has even gone back up there and almost all of his calls have gone unanswered and in person they keep telling him they have 30 days. It has now been over 30 days. Without the title he can’t make the vehicle street legal for it to be of any use so he’s out of $3,400.

after a bad review, called to threaten me and yelled slurs and threatened repossesing the car

Drove from Orlando to see a car, text them when enroute (they confirmed) but they were closed when I arrived. Text & called, no answer. Get a call back 15 minutes later, heard a bunch of excuses. Come back later (text them that I was coming), car I was coming to look at was not on the lot.
I was greated by a girl with a dirty grey tank top (was white at some time) and no bra on. She stated that someone was test driving the car.
I walked out. Over there games, wasting my time.
Also, they had cars on there lot that had flat tires & looked like they belong in the junkyard.

I HAVE TO GIVE A STAR OTHERWISE THEY WOULDN"T GET ONE!!! THEY SUCK! My husband and I purchased a vehicle from their sister company, Principle Auto Sales, LLC on June 21, 2021 and immediately noticed the vehicle had mechanical issues and they refused to give us our money back. And not to mention, its been 6 1/2 weeks since the purchase and we haven't received our registration, tag and title, that we already paid for. DON'T DO IT, YOU'LL REGERET IT
I purchased the vehicle and the add said the vehicle was in perfect mechanical working condition. I put the vehicle in drive to leave the parking lot it wouldn't hardly move in drive or reverse. I ask the people there what was wrong with it and they immediately started babbling you can't get your money back. I just wanted to know what's wrong with it, I said more than one time. Then the guy said, we have know clue. Before getting it from tampa all the way to New Port Richey it started to smoke really bad, turns out it needs oil rings, fuel pump and i can't seem to get the title from them.
Went to look at a car posted on marketplace. Said AC was working and body in good shape. The AC was broken and body was rusted HORRIBLY. The car was about to fall apart. They took misleading pictures for the add and they are flat out dishonest. Don't waste your time.
