Very unprofessional experience. We went to retrieve my friend’s vehicle after legally transferring the title into her name, and the company still refused to release it, which resulted in additional fees being added. The total jumped to $700, including a $350 “admin fee” that would not have been charged if the vehicle had been released when we first provided proof of ownership.
When we arrived, the employee raised his voice at us and was extremely aggressive. He was visibly carrying a gun and made us stand outside the gate while we were trying to inspect the vehicle. When we were finally able to see the car, we noticed damage that was not there before the tow.
I believe they were trying to scam for more money and possibly keep her car since it is fully paid off and in good condition
The entire situation felt intimidating, unprofessional, and unfair. I would strongly caution others when dealing with this company.
Absolutely the worst and most shady towing company I have ever dealt with in my life. My rental vehicle was illegally towed on a Friday night from a paid parking area with ZERO signs, warnings, or justification. When I called to find out where my car was, the operator immediately started yelling, cursing, and talking over me over a simple question. Completely unprofessional, aggressive, and disrespectful.
To make things worse, all of my personal belongings were still inside the vehicle, and they refused to release anything to me. It wasn’t until I had to get the Sheriff involved that they finally handed over my belongings and even then, they still refused to release my vehicle after an OBVIOUS illegal tow.
This place is the definition of a predatory, unprofessional, garbage towing operation. Avoid this company at all costs. If your vehicle ever ends up here, good luck, because they will make a bad situation ten times worse.
Somebody at the company got into my vehicle still numerous prescription medications that were narcotic as well as eyeglasses ranging about $650 as well as a pair of sunglasses that were $140. I asked the representative that I spoke to if they had gotten into my car they said they don’t do that but all of my items were missing. They were completely unprofessional and extremely rude on the phone and had no interest in trying to be courteous as well as accommodating.
Yes it was repossessed but still my items are mine. Not some loser that can’t get their own items.i found out the next morning it was gone and i contacted the police who told me it was repossessed and by who. When I called I was yelled at for knowing who took it. And asked to get my things. It has been gone for 3 weeks and ready for auction now. It hasn’t even been a month. These guys lie and lie and lie about things. If yall clean the cars then why is only a few EXPENSIVE items gone and not everything?!?!?
The rudest towing company .. I watched them literally choose and pick who to tow I did everything I was asked to park ..300 dollars for a tow isinsane... rude as hell prejudice the tenant of the complex are fed up
My truck got towed not by police, but they charge me if it was towed by police impound. On the top of that they charge me 320. They said they took the driveshaft off comes to find out they didn’t do it and when I went there trying to pick up the truck. They said I have to get another tow truck to tow it out of there facility I’m taking them to the court …And on the top of that the owner is very very disrespectful.
This company is completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I was towed while legally parked in a visitor space with a valid registration. The driver threatened to “drag” my car off the property, called me disrespectful slurs, made rude comments about my appearance, and insulted my car, assuming I couldn’t afford to pick it up. Though, this is a civil matter i plan to formally make a complaint against this company.
Bad attitudes.Your not better than anyone. Your driving around crazy and treat people in a manner that is very disrespectful. Just bc you deal with attitudes dont mean you need to take it out on others. Even in your comments it shows. Thanks boy have a good day.
There is no customer service on-site. Call before if you need your car picked up. The driver notified us it would be a 15min wait until he arrived, we called 30min later and he said he was still 10min out. So overall, the customer service is poor. I suppose the name of the company holds true-they are ghosts

Towed my car my 1st night in living in my apartment complex. The office didn’t explain the parking rules thoroughly and although there are signs in certain areas, I didn’t see the no reverse parking sign/rule in this complex so I got towed and had to pay $290 to get my car out and another $290 bc they towed my friend car as well). Truck driver was really rude when I picked up my car. He threatened to not allow me to get my car bc I “walked” up with an attitude, he said he doesn’t have to let me get my car if I have an attitude. I said sorry no one is walking up here smiling with you after their car just got towed smh. It was Giving a little racist as well I hate when people try to beat me mad . My car was towed today from a visitor parking spot at a community where I work overnight. The guy Michael is the most unprofessional person I’ve ever encountered. They have a scanner to register your car but it’s not working. But somehow I’m supposed to make it work. This is unacceptable
It’s ridiculous !! My car has been having issues with the battery so I parked on the same legit spot I always do but back up parked just in case I need some one to give me a jump on my battery again it would be easier, when I woke up next morning my car was gone , and this man are the rudest most unprofessional people I ever had to deal with in the past. The Guy felt asleep while I was on the phone with him !!!!
The towing service operator displayed unprofessional behavior, and their attitudes were unappreciated. Let me also say that since the owner responded that the ID was presented to the driver, my sister asked to go with that driver back to the vehicle since he had her government state ID. The driver had an attitude about her asking to go with him and lied, saying his card reader wasn't working, and tried to upcharge her when we got the original price previously. I am unsure if labeling black women as “difficult” when trying to ask questions when the driver was the difficult one who displayed extreme emotions that were inappropriate. Please understand that attempting to reprimand the vehicle's owner for not liking the questions is simply childish and practically bullying. I would give zero stars if possible, and I hope people consider the reviews because you have a marketable reputation
Honestly shouldn't even have one star more like none at all really. Last October I went to Busch Gardens with my girlfriend to Hallow Scream Halloween event and made a mistake parking across the street from the property. So we had to take an Uber all the way to Clearwater which is a hike, to get the money to get the car back and had my girlfriend to drive me to the place to get my car back just to get refused right away being accused of being drunk when I was NOT!! The driver was very rude and disrespectful and was very threatening and refusing to give me my car back when I took an Uber all the way to Clearwater and came back with the money! Man was I beyond furious as well as my girlfriend also! Even the guy on the phone after we called, was very rude and disrespectful as well making us out to be the bad ones when we weren't! So had to wait for the next morning to try again and this time.... had the Tampa Police come out to make sure that there wasn't gonna be any problems getting my car back. White Lancer... I hope you remember me! And being that same exact driver who was disrespectful and refused to give my car back.... if it wasn't for having the police there, I swear I would have knocked him out right and there being the little weasel, skin head looking punk that he is!! Even though this last October.... I surely wanted to make sure that I put my review in eventually. And I see that by the reviews they have here already.... shows that I wasn't the only one who had problems with these people. A lot of horrible reviews I see... and I wonder why? Avoid these guys at all cost as they are very rude, disrespectful and beyond unprofessional! Fitting name for this company by the ways "Ghost" as that will be a true statement being the fate for this company for being so terrible as they are with customers. I call the boss of this company and explained what happened so i can then get my car back. Guy was rude and took offense to me saying “dang why did this have to happen to me, why were there no spacings” out loud to myself and upped my price from $275 to $320 all i did was ask questions and he just hung up in my face and speeded with the address to pick it up, so i had to call back again. This company is very unprofessional and needs voice recording because what happened was totally uncalled for and abruptly rude and there should be no reason a business is ran that way. People like that give a company a bad name and shouldn’t be allowed. And proceeded to say to someone else i know, “it’s to teach me a lesson” that type of attitude serves no purpose in life and should not be tolerated.
Whoever I came in contact with is legit the MOST disrespectful human i’ve ever come across. I would talk about the unlawful tow but not even gonna waste my energy on that, it is what it is. But him? Boy oh boy. He got some major healing to do.
Predatory Prowling to tow. My car was towed 4 minutes after I parked and walked to the place next door to get breakfast. I parked in the lot at the business next door because I was coming back after to get a drink and go home. Their employees told me they just spend all day going to their properties and looking to find cars. Personally I would just avoid parking anywhere that has this company listed on there (not obvious at all) signs.
EDIT: Lies in the reply, my car was at your lot for exactly 2 hours according to YOUR paperwork, not that I expect you to tell the truth. But I don't expect honesty from a company like this. Just keeping it honest for other people who hopefully won't have to deal with this greedy company.
The guys were nice, they're just doing their job I know, I parked where I shouldn't have,thought I could get away with it. Dumb on my part, I know... Again give them a break we're the ones who choose to do dumb stuff.
I had my car towed this am, have to say put a damper on shipping for Black Friday, my fault for sure thinking I could park anywhere. The guys at Ghost towing, were nice, I get they're just doing they're job! ( Always treat people how you want to be treated!)

The Are Very Rude. My Daughter Has Nursing That Comes Out Because Of Her Medical State. They Towed My Nurses Car After Me Telling Them that She Is There for medical reasons on documentation. Whoever got answered got rude and told me it does matter and it’s not their problem . Hung up in my face . GHOST TOWING WILL HAVE A LEGAL BATTLE COME ON MONDAY . ITS ALL DOCUMENTED LEGALLY FOR MEDICAL REASONING
Everyone hates being Towed, but they were able to evaluate my situation I was in and cleared everything up. They are experienced and do their job professionally. I give 5 stars just because at the end of the day, Nothing was stolen from my vehicle, and nothing was damaged. God Bless, and stay safe.
If I could give negative stars, I most certainly would. I took my mom on a Sunday to pick up her vehicle which has been towed here. We could not find an entrance and my mom misread the sign on the fence and attempted to open it. The owner, who was apparently in his truck watching from across the street, began yelling and cursing at my mom, threatening her and telling her to step away from "his" gate. I asked him why he was speaking to her that way and he immediately became irate- hurtling more insults asking us if we knew how to read. When I fired back that my mom obviously had misread the sign or didn't see it, but that it gave him no right to speak to her that way, he declares that we won't get service today and will have to return tomorrow, then jumps in his truck and drives off!
I called the police while my mom attempted to call and reason with him. He returned in his truck only to get angry again when I asked my mom if he had apologized for speaking to her the way he had earlier.
We are currently awaiting the police arrival and I am just relieved we will have an officer here to witness the transaction because this man is obviously a crook and could be dangerous!

This is the quote on his website - yet he is trying to tell us that the reason he won't allow us to pick up my mom's truck is because it's Sunday and he is "Closed."
**UPDATE** The Tampa Police showed up pretty quickly, and the crooked owner of Ghost Towing was forced to release my mom's car to her. A conversation with one of the officers revealed that this is not the first call they have received for Ghost Towing, as the owner has made several attempts to break the law in various ways.
Once we received our vehicle, the owner appears to make nice and whispers to us that the cops would not mind if we drove the car off the lot. Mind you, the tags on my mom's car are expired and we knew that this would be illegal. We did not fall for this obvious and pathetic attempt at revenge. We called the tow to pick up the vehicle as originally planned.
The owner of Ghost Towing is a tyrant, a bully and a coward. Thankfully we did not back down and we were able to regain possession of the vehicle that is rightfully ours. Prayerfully we will never have to encounter or deal with this man ever again.
This company Ghost Towing Company is amazing. The first thing he noticed was my son had an special Needs Episode. He understood communicated with me very compassionately. He was able to calm My son down who is Autistic, and struggles with episodes when he gets upset, or placed in a situation he is scared about. The ride to pick up my car was very educational at the same time. If you are ever in need of a towing company I highly recommend using them. Ghost is amazing and rocks.
The driver at the lot was very hostile. He was beating up my truck and the ladders in the back. His landlord even said he was very hostile and had issues with many customers. If you go there definitely be careful and do not park inside gate or near the gate park across the street. The tow truck had no lic plate or wrecker info number and was badly wrecked on the front. The driver was very hot headed and then started tryin to fight us and when we wouldn’t fight him he proceeded to beat up our truck and the stuff in back.it Was a very bad experience and well I would never use them if ever needed. That driver also has a gun and is gun happy people like this do not need guns in their possession. I should have called the cops. But was so shook up so I just left the situation. This company will slowly go down hill if they keep drivers and employees like him. His name is junior BEWARE
I really LOVE this company they are AWESOME. My car broke down on me twice this week. Lord knows the customer service is beyond measures and when they come out the drivers are very understanding. I will forever be a customer of theirs and HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR COMPANY. I greatly appreciate everytime they go beyond theirselves for me and my family. I cant say Thank You enough
I messed up my dates requesting a pick up (I requested 12/30 instead of 11/30, oops) but these guys made it happen for me same day when I called from the pick up location. Professional, fast, and good rates. Definitely recommend if you need a tow.
