This is the second Saturday that when I call Friday they tell me they’re open on Saturdays and when I come Saturday with a full load, they are closed. They should let their people know to let everyone know at least on a Friday that they are going to be closed on Saturdays or the Saturdays that are going to be closed because I called the day before on Friday and they told me they were open and I asked if there was any maintenance and they told me no I wanna show up today with a full load. They are closed.
Blue Monkey owners & staff are great to work with. We have been using them for over 10 years now and find their facility to be one of the best in the area for service, hours, & process timing.
These drivers are very aggressive. Must be paid by the load. Maybe bought out Angelo's because their drivers were the same. Tailgating and always speeding. Will run you off the road. Probably have a fly-by-night insurance company. Nothing but grille in my mirror when behind me. Hate to be around them.
Beware! This company works with Budget Dumpster, they charged me a pie in the sky "weight overage fee" on my credit card alleging I went double over the agreed upon weight limit, yet offered no proof accept a hand written receipt. I filled the dumpster with old termite infested trusses from a roof of a 1000 sq ft 1 bedroom house, they said it weight 2.75 tons which, if were true, would have made the building collapse!! The entire building would not weight that much in total. Run from this company or get an upfront price WITHOUT the ability to get charged more for weight.
Driving on 41 north in Port Charlotte at.12:20 Friday April 28, 2023 when I notice a semi truck pushing me from behind. My rear window is filled with the front grill of this truck. Im driving 57mph in a 50mph zone passing cars on my right. The driver of thebig rig in my rear window must've seen there was no where for me to go yet he continued to barrel down on me until there was an opening on the right at which point he "swerved" around me while giving me the middle finger and then pulled in front of me and stepped on the brakes. My husband was in the passenger seat and my 8 year old granddaughter was in the back seat. Turns out it wasnt a semi. It was a dump truck. I know theres a labor shortage but truly, if this were my company, id rather lose a little money than risk the outcome of hiring drivers with anger issues and no respect for other drivers. We background check all the employees who drive any of our 14 company trucks.
We Use this transfer station/ dump daily, these guys are fantastic people, the best customer service, they are fast and efficient. Locally owned and operated and they care about their customers. I’m a lifetime customer. They take construction debris, household junk, concrete and more.
Their driver driving truck number 16-87 tag fla number 152 7CR southbound US 301 on Saturday May 21, 2022. Needs to be taught how to drive in a none aggressive manner when he is in traffic.. he almost hit the rear of my vehicle 4 times at least with the 2 slower cars in front of mine and easy 10 to 12 vehicles behind him. He tried passing in a NO passing zone as well. Please address this before he hurts someone or himself.
We use Blue Monkey - transfer station all the time! Pretty much the only place that is full service. Just back up to the bays via their guides, they open the doors and move tarps out of the way, you dump your stuff and weigh out. Simple and easy. Iv easily spent over $10k there because they're just awesome.
Phoenix Festivals Inc., a 501 nonprofit organization, has been working with blue monkey for several years now. We have always had a wonderful experience, their prices are very reasonable, and their service is well above par. I have nothing but praise for this wonderful company, and the staff is always very friendly.
