Extremely quick service. From phone call to tow truck showing up was less than 30 mins and entire process was extremely smooth. Will 100% be using these guys in the future for any towing needs.
I contacted this company after DREAM TOWING LLC left me stranded for four hours. The dispatcher was considerate and seemed to understand how urgently I needed a tow.
The reason for the lower rating: I was told a driver would arrive in 30 minutes, but when the dispatcher realized they didn't actually have one available, he sent TBB TOWING instead. That driver did arrive within the promised timeframe, but the issue was that Ak Towing quoted me one price--and only after my vehicle was already on the truck and the invoice was sent did I find out they were two different companies.
My advice: make sure the driver is actually from the company you were quoted through, and always confirm the price before agreeing to the tow
Will always be my #1 they are ALWAYSS on time and always take care of the car when it goes on the lift, I’ve had many towing companies destroy the bottom and even my front bumper trying to get the car up, They actually took their time to ensure they got on safely and with no damage, all within the span of 15-25 mins since i called, AMAZING SERVICE.

I got in an accident my car was total lost and I was desperate trying to find a tow truck company. I call a few places but nobody answer the phone at that time the only towing company in Tampa Florida that picked up the phone right away was AK towing and recovery after I told them where I was they show up in about 15 minutes the driver was kind and professional. He knew what he was doing. The price was really accessible. I recommend this Towing company to anybody who needs the towing service in Tampa, Florida and I will keep using them always.
I called three companies to get prices, the only company that gave me a reasonable price was them , I also thought it was gonna take them longer to find me because of the location and the situation with my car but the driver did a wonderful job . Highly recommend them for cars and bikes.

We definitely recommend this company where they're outstanding service. It was after 6 pm. I googled tow companies in the area of tampa close to the stadium. My friend was stuck on a curb in a Plaza. I spoke with Duke who was awesome. Him & his driver came to assist & towed the car all the way to New Port Richie. His rate was super reasonable. I gave him an extra tip.
Very good and quick job. Jose was very attentive and did a great job. He only took 8 mins to arrive to help me because my car was broken on the side of the highway.

I cannot give a high enough review for this towing service as a woman that was stuck with my car not starting, and I needed a tow yesterday morning in South Tampa. They were the cheapest quote to start, he was there within 30 minutes, and was so professional. I ended up explaining my issue and what I had attempted before calling him as we were on the way to the automotive shop. He stopped the tow truck on the side of the road and gave me some tips to get my starter going so I could actually drive my car closer to my house which was 35 minutes away in St. Pete and the car started. Now I can take my car closer to my local mechanic because of his advice. He was such an amazing soul that I was so lucky to have chosen this company in such a stressful situation! I usually don't write reviews, but I had to in this situation.
My significant other and I were broken down at the airport and Duke came in to save the day! He not only exuded professionalism but also was extremely personable and made an unfortunate circumstance a more positive experience. I can’t say enough good things about Duke. My car wouldn’t start and was in a secured parking garage. I never knew how difficult a situation that is or how much time it takes to prove the vehicle is legitimately being removed. Duke was patient, and made sure EVERYTHING was taken care of. Duke was amazing. He was very sweet and empathetic. He picked me up in the middle of a busy highway in the middle of the night. He worked with me and patiently took me to two different places. I would have been stranded if he hadn't worked with me like he did. He's also really cute so that's a plus lol. I would definitely recommend and use them again when needed.
We were in a rut, to make a horrible long story short, our rental had a blow out with no spare and we had a 3.5 hour drive and it was late. We were told 2.5 hours from Budget to get some out to our location which turned to 3.5 hours, we made one call to this place and they were out in less than 25 minutes. Extremely professional and courteous with reasonable pricing! We will definitely use again if needed (hopefully no time soon) but definitely recommend their service.

My car went into limp mode and my battery was dead. I could not get my car in neutral and luckily didn’t need it with the dolly and jack. Huge thank you to Ak Towing and Recovery for helping me get back home safe with no damage. If you are looking to tow a lowered car with a front lip, these guys are perfect for you. I tried multiple flat bed trucks until I was referred to Ak. No damage was done to my front lip, I can’t recommend these guys enough for the help. They were super professional and extremely fast. Will be doing business again!
LIFE SAVERS….. I called at 4:30am and they showed up in 18 minutes. Duke had the car loaded in minutes. Definitely calling them first when I need a tow again
