This place rips you off! Took the same type of metal to another scrap yard amd got double at 1$ a pound...this place only gave 60 cents a pound on clean scrap, total rip off... Will never go here again. Go to the one on Lois instead.
I’ve been coming here for the last 5 years, however the last 3 times I’ve come here, I drove away with a flat tire. They are clearly not magnet sweeping their yard and driveways often enough. The cost of patching tires exceeds the value of the scrap. I’ll stop going here anymore.
Bad for semi trucks. Very dangerous entrance. They don't understand what axles overweight is, and they don't know how to load correctly. They are trying to load exactly 80,000. Very greedy. Stupid and unprofessional. I just wasted my time and earned 0.
Guy tried to get one over on me saying my aluminum was fake aluminum so price would be way cheaper. He compared my 2 soccer goals which was cut into sections and is all aluminum to rain gutters which is not all aluminum . Told them bye no thanks, took to another place which was accepted correctly
I enter the yard in my plumbing van with a water heater. Guy in cowboy hat says “park here”, and walks away. I park and wait. I open van ready to unload, he comes back 2 minutes later and refuses to take the water heater unless I Re-park my van longwise instead of side wise. This, in a narrow yard. What the heck difference does it make. Jerking me around for no reason. Bye bye. Imbeciles.
These people are bunch of thief. They take all the items back from the car and refuse the metal that is not clean. They refuse to paid for tge clean metal if you don't take back the items that they refuse to accept. Basically they still you merchandise. No one speaks English on the place by the way..
The employees are the best. Very helpful with the whole process. The best scrap experience ever. And best of all the prices are great. Won't go anywhere else.
Will never use them again. The yard is full of nails and screws. The staff is rude. They cheat you on all your materials on pricing. Never use them. Fedca Scrap Metals treats you right, great friendly staff. Fair on pricing
It has been a couple years since my last visit, and it was better than before. They have made some improvements to the facilities, and every single employee was pleasant and helpful.
Very small scrap yard prices are fair employees are super friendly everybody's very helpful it's a little confusing the first time you go if you've never done scrap before to figure out what goes where but they do their best to guide you through the process and you'll walk with a couple dollars in your pocket when all the sudden done
This company, even in these troubling times... Has been very good to its customers. I have never had a negative nor bad experience here and all of the staff has always been wonderfully helpful!
Very poor customer service i have been going there off and on for about a yr but the other day was the worst service and attitude i was taking in parts from a car and they reqursted a tittle ok not that far so went home got the tittle then the person requested more information even though i have power of attorny over the person on the tittle they wanted me to bring in my wife which is disabled and parolized on the left side for proof i informed them after this i will be going else where she said you can always go some place else then cused in Spanish and yes i know spanish so i did just that had no problems were i went will not be going back.
Prices are consistent with other scrap yard but the reason to come here is they are efficient and they help you with the sorting and unloading. They even give you tips on how to sort your scrap for better prices. They have a great system to get you in and out no worries. I do wish they would fix a few of the potholes in the entry driveway but it's not a deal breaker. Very happy, five stars.
They would not accept the copper wire i wanted to sell due to a misinterpretation of a law restricting them from buying utility wire but the wire i had was clearly not utility wire the owner just did not want to have to load it on scale due to it was near closing time and his employees were gone all i know is they are not very friendly and helpful i will not waste my time going there anymore
