Told me they could bring the car I had towed back though a steep driveway because I’ve already had sheds etc come thru the drive way but when the tow guy got there he called me saying he couldn’t do it and didn’t even tell me what he did wouldn’t answer my calls and left the car on the road
I want to share my recent experience. My car, a blue 2010 Subaru Outback, was towed from the road because it broke down and needed a jump start. Sun State Wrecker Services sent a tow truck, but the driver was very rude and didn’t explain my options. I told the driver I didn’t want their service, but he still towed my car.
I asked him to drop my car off at my house or in a parking lot where I could work on it, but the driver refused and instead took my car to a storage facility. Now, they want me to pay almost $400 to get my car back. I’ve already talked to them and offered to pay something for the inconvenience, but they refused.
I'm writing this to warn others not to use their service. I hope the county and the police department take action against Sun State Wrecker Services. They are rude and unprofessional, taking advantage of people they are supposed to help. This is unacceptable. I will pursue all legal options to recover my car, which I consider stolen since it was taken to an unapproved location, disregarding my rights as a customer. This company is dishonest and should be shut down. As a US military protected veteran, I will personally never do business with them, nor should you. Please take action against them. I had the best ever service from this company. I am a truck driver from Canada and i've beign driving in the US for the past 4 years i had a lot of break downs met good and bad people but what i experienced with Ron at this company is unbelievable. He's the best he actually stood out for me when this other tow company ripped me off and i paid them for doing nothing. I phoned this other company first to give me a battery boost i told them that I had a semi truck with 4 batteries instead of bringing the right equipment they brought a small truck with the wrong cables and could not do the work and i paid them $224.24 instead they told me that they had a tow truck that can come and tow me to the next truck stop where there is a mechanic and it is going to $650 i agreed. The tow truck came and Ron started hooking up my truck . I then received a call saying that I should make my payment to the company that had failed to do the battery boost i didn't know that it was not the same company. That's when Ron said no i am going to pay him direct not knowing that this other had upped the price from 450 to 650 just because they referred them to me. Ron stood his ground and said that is not going happen since he is doing the service and they expect to get 200 for doing nothing from me. Thanks Ron for standing up for me i wish you all the blessings keep up the good spirit and good work that you're doing i wish there were 10 stars to give you man.
