My mom and I had drove an hour and fifteen minutes to reach this establishment to purchase a gear shifter for her car. Unfortunately the part that we purchased was the wrong gear shifter. Upon calling David and telling him what had happened, he searched for our part for a month and stayed in contact with me. He truly went above and beyond to help us and that's something rare in today's world when it comes to customer service. He called us today with the part that he hunted down and after picking it up today and having it installed it's been the best day ever. We can't thank David enough for his help and we no longer have to drive around with a broken gear shifter!! I highly recommend everyone go to Wilson Auto for their part replacement needs! Walked in great customer service friendly went in looking for a alternator told him what needed he went to the back and came back with a alternator I proceeded to give him the money for the alternator and he said I can have it no charge if it works that made my day because I was a little short on funds but he didn't know.but he was a blessing because the alternator ended up working fine.So thanks Wilson Salvage I highly recommend if your looking for reasonable price on parts go to Wilson's..
I am not lying or saying anything that did not happen. You have a lot of bad comments because of your bad treatment and lying to customers. I do not know why you treat people this way.
Great helpful and friendly people. Called on the phone. Dave located my 2012 TC part. He pulled the part and had it ready for pick for when I arrived. Installed the part when I got home. Worked perfectly. Much appreciated. Highly recommend, and will use them again.
I called about a part and they looked it up plus made sure it was there. They pulled it and had it waiting for me when I got there. Everyone was nice and friendly. Even though it's a 50 mile drive I will definitely go back for more parts.
Blew my motor while visiting family at a off road park. Charlie sold me a 95 351w. Slapped my parts on it and made it back to Michigan. They were extremely helpful and worked with me on my core deposit. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Their service was faster than most McDonald's drive-thru's.
Couldn’t be happier. The owner Charlie is very knowledgeable… had a rear differential blow so I decided to go with a used one and Charlie fixed me up … I finally installed it and my truck is up and running great !Plus I saved about $1000.00 rather than getting it rebuilt and have it blow again after 2 years ! Was looking for a obscure part that isn't inventoried, cataloged, or tracked by any junkyard. They went above and beyond to spend their time out in the yard to find exactly what I was looking for and were very generous (to me) with their pricing. My dad bought a transmission for my Saturn yesterday and the gentleman I spoke with was extremely helpful I had to call quite a few times and he was very patient
Do not shop here! Scammers, sold bad parts and they don’t cover the warranty, we bought a transmission here and before install we noticed it was bad, went to the store to get another or get a refund and they refused to do anything, after that they said it will be replace for another transmission just to take me out of the place, wen we call to check if is ready to pick up they refused to change or refund, I call my bank to cancel the transaction and customers protection service! Now I have to wait!!! Again, think twice before buy anything from this scammer place!!

I called for an alternator David said they had it but it was still on the vehicle and needed to be pulled off and that he would call me when it was ready I told him I was in a jam and that I needed it as soon as possible he called me 15 minutes later and said it was off and ready for pick up! and it was cheaper then the three other yards I called! thank you again David! Best salvage yard in town!
Ordered an aluminum block Silverado 5.3L engine L33, they gave me a receipt that said 4.8L iron, they said they can not return the deposit, but will get me a replacement of the correct engine on Friday.
Friday comes around they say they have the correct motor, I pay for the motor, I ask if I can inspect it prior, they say too late it’s already in my truck. They dropped it in the bed of my truck while I was inside.
Told them I will not accept this motor, they said they went through a lot of work to get it so I have keep it.
I said I can not keep it because it’s not the right product.
They said they won’t take it back because it’s in my truck, I told them they put it there and I will not leave the lot with the wrong item.
I put the motor on the floor and left it, I will be disputing this with my credit card company.
Bad service, shady practices, DO NOT SHOP!!!
Called about a engine, I'm told 1250, then less than a minute later I'm told 1700. Go ahead I'll pay the 1700 and then an hour later I get a call saying the price is 1799 not 1700. Wo t stand behind their price how could I trust them to stand behind their part. Good luck doing business here.. after the fact I get a text message from the owner, telling me he is going to leave my business a bad review because I left his one. Even though he has never done business with me. I am not exaggerating anything this was my experience and I feel everyone should know
Looked up the part on the website (got a screen shot to show) and it gave a price. CALLED and spoke to a lady and she verified the price. Drove an hour one way to get the engine , only to get there and be told no, that the price quoted on the phone and website is WRONG. So of course I am annoyed and told them that. The man/owner refused to even give me a price on the part because I was annoyed that THEY quoted me the wrong price on the website AND over the phone. Stay away. With customer service like this, they wont be in business long.
Rude owner. They towed my car to their property to replace an engine. When I went to pick it up, I noticed a big scratch in my back bumper which wasn’t there before. Trying to resolve this issue with him by nicely asking for some proof that the damage was done prior to them towing and fixing my car just so I can know who exactly caused it (the first towing company or his company/shop), he hung up on my face while I was talking and said he doesn’t have to deal with this, and didnt provide that proof.
Plus when I went back there cause my car was shaking, they claimed it was my transmission mount (which wasn’t by the way), they accidentally locked my doors with key inside on their way out of the car, tried to unlock it and ended up scratching my car paint on top of the door where they were sticking their screwdriver.
The others are nice in there, but wouldn’t recommend that place. I don’t deal with rude and unprofessional people in a place of business.
Tampa's Best Kept Secret - This Place Has Everything and Does Everything. For over Ten years these guys have completely saved Multiple cars by finding and Installing Engines and Transmissions for my Foreign (Nissan, Honda) and Domestic (GM, Ford). Website is Decent but is not always accurate as to what parts are available and in stock at the time. I Imagine its an impossible task as a Call or visit to Wilson's will be your best bet for finding any part you may need. Keith has been my guy there but The entire staff is always helpful and polite every time I have dealt with them. Great Service, Great Parts and Decent Prices that are Much better than any "StealerShip".

Told them the part number, told me what they had was compatible and I checked and saw it was. After agreeing to receive the part it took 45 minutes to locate the vehicle to pull the part from. Was very rude and is using a front of christian believers to seem less slimmy. They pulled the wrong part and when I came to return it, told me they sold the part I needed even though they knew I was returning to retrieve the part. Then refused to reimburse my purchase. Total scam artists. Avoid at all costs.
