I always take my car to this shop and they are always great. 10/10 recommend! My husband just took his car in for some work as well and nick was awesome! Great communication and work every time! Awesome service went to get my car serviced and it was done same day with no issues, nick was great with communication and telling me exactly what needed to be done and how long it was going to take, really helped me out a ton, my car has never driven better! Totally recommend them 10/10
I highly recommend this shop!! Nick up front was very polite and explained why i needed my transmission serviced and rear differential, showed me the fluid samples, they did a full inspection on my vehicle while i was there for a oil change and pointed out the fluids, and my brakes were getting low, and overall were amazing here, they did all the work, and the mechanic took pictures of everything and i was able to see everything on my vehicle and seen how parts were replaced, definitely will be coming back. ONE STAR IS TOO MANY STARS. STAY AWAY. If you value your time, your money, and your vehicle, do not take it to A&G Auto Repair. My wife paid this shop $14,000 over four separate repair attempts, and it was a total disaster. The most egregious issue started after they replaced the rear main seal. This job requires separating the engine and the transmission; before they touched it, the transmission was perfect. Exactly one month after their invasive work, it failed. This isn't a coincidence—failing to properly align the torque converter or seating the pump incorrectly causes exactly this kind of progressive failure. They effectively broke the transmission and then charged us thousands to "fix" their own mistake. To make it worse, the "rebuilt" transmission they installed failed immediately upon pickup. They then proceeded to slow-walk the warranty repair for over a month, holding the vehicle hostage while we were forced to pay for rentals. This created a massive logistical and financial nightmare for my wife, who works 12-hour night shifts in Tampa. We were forced to spend upwards of $1,500 on a rental vehicle just so she could get to work, all while the shop offered zero proactive communication. We were constantly left in the dark, forced to hunt them down for updates that never came. This is a direct violation of the Florida Motor Vehicle Repair Act (Statute 559.901) regarding unreasonable delays. Furthermore, management promised a $300 rental credit for the inconvenience—a fraction of our actual costs—and then explicitly reneged. When we called to follow up, Nick in the office was rude and obnoxious, stating they "aren't helping with nothing." This falls under Florida’s Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (Statute 501.204). They finally returned the Jeep, but the stress and financial loss were inexcusable. This shop's business model is predatory. Take your business to an honest mechanic who actually stands behind their work. A&G Auto Repair will try to upsell you on work performed. Avoid this place unless you want to be talked into repairs you don't need. They constantly try to upsell unnecessary services to pad the bill. Dishonest pricing and high-pressure tactics. Go elsewhere. I wanted to like this place, but I can't recommend a shop that pushes unnecessary work. They insisted and told my wife her Jeep needed a radiator flush, unaware that the service had just been completed by my son how just got out of the army. When he flushed his own jeeps radiator approximately six months prior. If they didn't even check the fluid quality before recommending the flush, it makes me question the honesty and integrity of their other 'required' repairs from A&G Auto.

I had a complete engine failure and really do not know a thing about cars. I called A & G , spoke to Nick, he was very kind, helpful and really took the time to explain everything to me. This shop is awesome!! I had an absolutely amazing experience! The employees were super professional and uplifting! They got my car in and out in a very timely manner, quicker than any shop i've ever been to!! 10/10 experience i will absolutely be returning!!
Got work done for a possible coolant leak. Was told it will be over $3000. Because the car needed a tune up and I have a couple minor oil leaks as well. I decide to go with what the issue was. The coolant leak. $1400. I take the car home and the next morning I discover a gigantic puddle of oil under my car. Car has zero oil in it now. I take it back they tell me it’s a major leak now and it’s nothing they did. It is because of the “cold weather”. Now they want $1200 to fix it.
Another thing is the guy Nick told me on the phone the Kia 2020 telluride requires to tilt the engine for coolant work. When asked could it bc of the work you did he told me that they never had to tilt the engine and it wasn’t from them. Two different responses from the same guy. I will update after checking other mechanics and getting their input on the situation.
Also told something about a new law in Florida requires them to order parts before sending pictures bc on their new system once he sends an invoice or estimate it automatically purchases the parts for the job. Will be checking on this if this is true as well.
The most honest and thorough shop I’ve ever visited! I cannot recommend A&G Auto Repair enough. After dealing with a check engine light and several bad experiences at other shops, Nick and his mechanic were a breath of fresh air. Instead of just throwing parts and prices at me, they performed a thorough investigation to confirm the actual root of the problem. I had to get a smoke test on my car after being told by a dealership that they'd have to change specific parts in order to find the "problem." Which is total bs and a way to get money out of you, Nick was beyond helpful and went out of his way to provide EXCEPTIONAL service, provided answers to my questions that were previously disregarded at other dealerships due to me not being too educated on cars. Service was friendly and the environment was extremely welcoming everyone used their manners which is something you dont see often anymore!! Aaron and Marcus performed the smoke test on my car, Aaron was also very friendly and made the situation I was in 10x easier, I will be coming back and recommending this place to others, I cannot say enough good things about the employees here and the experience i had their as a first timer, Definitely check this place out!!! Their pricing is not outrageous either, they explain problems in detail and even let me take pictures of the smoke test to show the dealership I previously brought my car to. I would rate this place 1 million out of 10 if possible!!
Called 30 minutes beforehand needing a puncture fixing on a rental. We were served just as a loyal customer, so quickly changed the tyre doing us a huge favour and we were on our way no further questions asked. Would 100% recommend.
I called A & G today with a screw in my back tire. Nick kindly told me to bring my car in. When I arrived they were busy, but he removed his jacket, left the front desk to his coworker, & worked on my tire. This is my new automotive repair shop for sure! Very organized, customer friendly/respectful, & super clean restrooms/waiting area.
Nick and his team are absolute professionals. Vehicle went in with what we thought was one problem and they found out the real problem. They took care of everything kept me informed every step of the way and staying behind everything they do. Highly recommend this shop to anyone.
Went in for a wheel alignment for my BMW. Went fine overall with a slight issue that was corrected immediately. It's quite the information gathering procedure for first timers - really make sure you're supposed to be on the road before they fix things.
Lobby area and bathrooms very clean. Free coffee and snacks, books and magazines, free Wi-Fi, even a Bible or two in the mix. I respect the Christian display.
I won't have an issue going back for an alignment when I need it. Or perhaps when something else pops up.
After a tire blowout while on the Sunshine Parkway, followed by a tow to buy a new tire, installation, rebalancing, et.al., I got on the road again only to hear a loud noise coming from underneath my engine. It was getting late and dark so I drove carefully to reach home and knew I would have to find a repair place first thing in the morning. I was new in town and searched for a place to take my car. The reviews for A&G were very impressive so that's who I called. I can afirm those reviews wholeheartedly! Upon hearing that I was really worried and new to the area, they said to come right over, ask for Gage and he would be already updated about my problem. They were so accommodating and when I went there, they continued to impress! Reading the certifications of their mechanics dismissed any doubts about competence. The repair station itself is clean, very well organized and equipped. Every employee I dealt with was friendly, assuring, and efficient. As it turned out, a lightweight "shield" under the engine had torn partly off and was dragging on the ground as I drove. After dispensing with the ripped part, they sent me on my way without charging a dime. If you're looking for honesty, competence, and friendly service, take your car to A&G. You won't be disappointed!
A&G Auto is a great shop all around! Everyone there was incredibly polite and professional. I especially want to shout out Gage at the front, he has this confident yet easygoing swagger that really makes you feel at ease about leaving your car in good hands.
They diagnosed and fixed a coolant issue for me, replacing the thermostat quickly and efficiently. No problems since, everything runs perfectly. The pricing was also very reasonable, especially considering it is 2025 and good mechanics are not cheap by the hour.
The waiting area was cozy and comfortable, with water, coffee, and snacks available. The whole team seemed chill and genuinely enjoyed what they do. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a smoother or more pleasant experience. Highly recommend A&G Auto!
My wife called me with flat tire issues and I was at work. I had to leave work and get it fixed fast and get back to work. From the first time I walked into this automotive shop 3 years ago I knew that I made a good choice for my Automotive needs. When I tell you this place is clean and organized it is to the extreme and that speaks volumes in my book!! Above and beyond that everyone at the front counter acknowledge me as soon as I walked in, Gage, Ben and John have outstanding customer service with knowledge! Not only were they extremely helpful and friendly but they were able to explain what was being performed on my vehicle in layman's terms as well as specific technical information. All of the work and maintenance they provided on my vehicle was completed in a timely manner at an affordable price! No more waiting at the dealership over an hour+ for oil changes anymore! This place completed that task in under an hour and tire rotation. And yes it does help if you call ahead and make appointment. I didn't know or need, but found out they provide car service if you need a ride home while your car is being repaired. Ten Stars ⭐ to everyone who works here! So so so grateful for A&G I was a last minute appointment because my car broke down right before something very important. They made a bunch of calls, worked late into the night, and answered a lot of questions about my car. Gage is a helpful angel (even gave me his phone charger to borrow), Ron has a radio station (I mean come on) and is so kind, and Sleighton (sorry for spelling if that’s not right) worked a long while to get my car on the road in the same day. Very blessed and grateful for these gentlemen. I am a broke college student, so every penny counts, and they were very fair on pricing. P.S. they have a great snack selection and refreshments if you’re there for a while.

Yesterday afternoon, I had a flat tire. Unfortunately, from Tampa to Spring Hill (41) I couldn't find a single tire shop open after 6:00 p.m. I came to this place because the reviews were very good, and I definitely don't regret it. They were very friendly from the moment I arrived. The wait time was adequate. Everything was very clean and organized. The waiting area is very cozy with a TV, snacks, and coffee. Excellent customer service, Ben and Gage was super attentive and professional. I will definitely continue using their services from now on and will recommend them to my family and friends 100%. And best of all, they didn't even charge me to fix my tire.
These guys are absolutely the best. Very honest and reliable. We came in from another mechanics shop that did not take care of us properly. I absolutely LOVE A&G!! I have been coming here since my first car and my first oil change years ago! This is seriously the best shop in Brooksville, maybe even the whole central Florida. I’ve had a couple issues with my cars but these guys never hesitate to get me in at a decent time and make sure the best work gets done. Everyone up front is awesome! Super professional, friendly, and even funny like they are just awesome to talk to when waiting. Also when you wait they provide complementary snacks and drinks. The lobby is really neat, clean, and perfect if you have a small job you want to wait for. I recommend A&G to all my friends and family because they provide the best service. You get what you pay for here and it’s amazing work.
This shop is a joke! They had my work truck for over 5 weeks saying they were hunting down the fuel injector wiring harness needed to make the repair but could not give me a timeline on completion. The owner, who was yelling at me at one point, told me it could be 8 months to year before they are able to find one to fix my truck. When I said that was unacceptable they sent me a quote for 35 hours at $188 per hour to repair the existing wiring harness. I decided to have the truck towed to another shop in town. The attached photos show the condition of the truck and how A&G left it. They also lost the battery cover which is no longer manufactured in which I will have to hunt for in junk yards. The owner offered to give me my $500 back for the work they did and made the young service writer go to his own bank and pay me himself since the owner says this was work was not his responsibility.
The new shop had the truck for 2 days and confirmed the wiring harness on the truck was fine and firing correctly. The truck actually needs a fuel injection module, NOT A WIRING HARNESS and gave me a timeline and very reasonable price to have this completed quickly and fairly.
We wasted so much time waiting for these guys when we never should have taken to them to begin with. Don't make the same mistake.
