Very poorly ran room. Too many rude, unpleasant, unhappy employees, they just seem miserable. The room has a very negative, disgruntled feel about it. A Friday Saturday only room, dead the other days. The room only attracts players who want to play for high hands. It doesn't attract players who want to play poker. This room just isn't worth it.
Ok small local poker room for Tallahassee. seems to be a Friday Saturday room only. negatives, a lot of short buy tight players. PLO is the big game, only $1/$2 NLH. employees seems to be unhappy and rube, specially a dealer name Bill, customer service is lacking. definitely has room for improvement.
The dealer Bill D is a rude, negative, disgruntled, smart aleck employee who makes it unenjoyable when he comes to the table. This business would do themselves a favor by terminating him. Small $1/$2 room with short buy, tight players. PLO will go on weekends. Friday Saturday only room
The play was decent and most of the dealers were good. Pit boss was great. Service was lacking. Husband went to the bar and had to stand there for at least 10 minutes before anyone helped him (and he was the only one up there.) Table service for the first half of the night was non-existant (2nd half of the night was ok.) Philly cheese steak and fries were really good! I had to stand at the cage for more than 10 minutes before anyone even showed up to cash me out.
Found it a bit shady that they continued to collect the $2 drop for the high hand even when the high hand bonus was over for the night.
I've been playing poker for over 30 years all over the country and this may be the worst room that I have ever experienced. Foul language from loud dealers, conversations being constantly allowed between players in the hand, and absolutely no floor presence. The only reason I didn't give 1 star is because of a high hand promotion that's paid every hour. I will definitely not return.
Lady at bar is so rude., don’t understand why everyone at desk have long face? Wish they put smile on and be friendly or welcoming. ? black guy with glasses at desk will not even look at u and answer simple questions, don’t see no reason to be so rude to people who come there to play poker and have fun, be friendly, it will help ur business.
I've come out here several times and I cannot speak on behalf of the women's restroom, but in the men's restroom there is almost no soap. All the soap dispensaries are empty and you're lucky if there is one soap dispenser refill on the counter that should be plugged into one of the soap dispensers on the wall. If the health department came out there and saw that they would not be pleased.
Most of the dealers and managers are very pleasant and funny, but several dealers are very rude and unpleasant. One dealer kept making mistakes almost every single hand and he blatantly had said that he was very tired and probably should have been sent home due to all the mistakes he was making. luckily the designated player caught them and nobody missed out on money. Also enjoy waiting when you go to the cash out window because the young lady that is usually there is never around and and when she is paged she still takes a while to appear.
Great place to sling some cards. Most dealers are friendly and helpful. Good luck playing any hands if you get seated at the old white dudes table, they fold any 2 cards to a 5 dollar raise unless AA.
Great for poker, but my recent experience with their new bar girl was horrible. I don't know her name, but she had brown skin with twists or braids. She took my order at 10:09, but I didn't receive my food or drinks at all. After 55 minutes past I had for refund because I couldn’t wait any longer. There was no apology or acknowledgment from her. I had to get a refund for my burger because it took over an hour, and I never received my food.
To make matters worse, she served at least 15 people their drinks right in front of me while I was sitting at the bar the whole time. She walked past me numerous times without mentioning my order. Naturally, I revoked my 22% tip and asked for everything back. Her judgment, communication, and people skills were severely lacking.
I’ve been to Creek Entertainment twice now and played at the 1/2 tables both times.
The staff were lovely and so were the players. Everyone seems to know each other by name, yet they were very welcoming and interested in meeting a newcomer.
Unlike the other casinos I’ve been to, everyone was very courteous and polite the whole time, whether they were winning big or suffering bad beats.
The rake at 1/2 is also only $5/pot which is great!
I’ll definitely be frequenting Creek in the future :)
They have one dealer that ruins the whole atmosphere. Literally took my cards from me when I wasn't looking (didn't muck them)
Took them from me just to prove a point about keeping my cards 2 inches closer to my chips. I'll get his name the next time I go.
2 stars because I actually like the place but he (the one dealer) ruins the whole ambiance everytime I go. Literally 3 times I went, first time: bad attitude, hates life. Second time: Bad attitude. 3rd time: Literally taking my cards, bad attitude and talking trash under his breath.
Bob, who is a lady dealer, is very rude and condescending. They get rid of her I might come back. As a customer, you should never be talked to like the way she does
It was ok I had to get help with my tickets that I had placed bets on. I didn't know how to check them so someone that worked there helped me and I ended up missing one of my tickets so my advise is not to let anyone else touch your tickets if you need help let him show you but make sure you keep a hold of all your tickets because like I said I was missing a ticket and it could have been a winning one too I feel like it was
Staff and dealers are super nice. Wish this place did more advertising in tallahassee as it could attract a lot of people from there. But love the atmosphere in there from the dealers to the fellow card players.
Fun time, usually only one or two tables going. Weekends are usually busier.. They have pai gow, 1 card and 3 card and Ultimate Texas holdem. Simulcast racing to bet on too.
Great place and Lacy is the Greatest, most attentive and friendly Bartender I have ever met. Love to stop here for their Philly Cheese Steak too. Come join in the fun.
So much potential, but kind of out of the way location. Very nice poker room right off of I-10. I imagine it gets livelier on the weekends. They are not part of Bravo or Poker Atlas as far as I know. That would help things. Hopefully they will consider signing up for one of them sometime soon.
Great place to go loose some money, kidding...hahaha. they have a bar there that serves pretty good food. Nice tables, friendly staff, great place to go blow little time and money. If you play your cards right you might go home with a little extra.
Small, dirty, and dank room. Staff goes off rules that they make up as they go. You will never find them running anything other than 1/2 and maybe an Omaha table.
Unless you're desperate to play poker.... skip this room.
My husband and I stopped in at the casino this evening so that I could escape the onslaught of the setting sun on my fair ginger complexion. We didn’t (and don’t really) play poker, but we enjoyed a couple drinks at the bar along with a snack of carrots and celery. Every employee we encountered was friendly and sincere, and the casino itself is very clean and welcoming. Even though we didn’t play poker, we enjoyed our visit! Upon using the water closet, I noticed that the facilities were exceptionally clean, and they even provide a sharps disposal container for diabetics to safely rid of their insulin syringes.
Very clean, friendly staff, fun .. dealers are helpful to beginners. (Which we are).. this was a good time .. parking is easy, if u are used to northern casinos, no slots, or smoking here.
Its a bit smaller than other casinos in the area but, the staff are great and I had a lot of fun here. I wish that the parent company could host some sort of rewards program benefits at these locations too.
Players show the dealer their hand when they are folding while the hand is still active. The dealer never said anything to them. I told the "pit boss" but he didn't say anything to the dealer. Very un professional poker room in my opinion. Will not return.
Been playing there 5 yrs Plenty of Action especially PLO It's true NL games are 1-2 wish we could get 2-5 going but if you want Action PLO is all you want good players and Buckle up. Great Staff
