I had to have my car towed to my house on July 25, 2025. James was the tow truck driver that picked up my car. I wanted to take a second to brag on him. He was excellent! He communicated with me every step of the way and arrived on time. He also parked my car exactly where I asked him to and did a great job getting my car back to my house safely. I can’t say enough great things about James. If I ever need a tow in the future, I know who to call. I would recommend Hook Em Up & James to anyone that happens to be in need of a tow!
5 stars across the board! Driver kamren picked up the call within 20 minutes of calling AAA. He was extremely professional over the phone insuring that he would arrive to my location in a timely manner. When he arrived he was extremely professional and friendly. The overall experience was very positive and I would 100% go through this company again!
Robbie and I have done business now 5 or 6 times now. Every time he's been personable and extremely proficient at his skill set. Usually prompt when Im not broke down in the middle of nowhere. Always goes above and beyond. 10/5 stars. Highly recommend.
On Friday night, 7/4/25, this company attempted to tow my son’s truck at Pensacola Beach. The driver initially told him the fee was $280 and insisted it had to be paid in cash. When I asked for a receipt, the driver refused. I was on the phone with my son throughout the entire incident and repeatedly told him not to hand over cash without proper documentation. After about 30 minutes, the driver gave him back $140, claiming dispatch had made a mistake, but still kept $140.
I had to contact the company by email to get a receipt. When I received it, it was for $100, not $140. On top of that, the receipt falsely stated that the vehicle had been impounded for three days and released on 7/7/25 at 8:51 a.m., which is completely untrue. It was a hook-and-drop, not a full impound.
This is a predatory practice and borders on a scam. The fact that this company only accepts cash and refuses to provide immediate receipts is unacceptable. Any driver handling cash transactions should be fully equipped and required to issue a receipt on the spot.
Yesterday I got caught in "sugar sand". Hook "Em Up came to the rescue. Robbie was respectful and helpful. Afterwards, he lead me to safe parking until the next day to complete my delivery. One of the most professional and respectful wreckers service. I am grateful

They were Johnny on the spot for my wife on may17th. Took some time to show up they got there. The problem is taking to a Toyota dealership in gulfport ms. There is a drop box next to the driveway before the dealership. In plainview on a post to the locked gate. Because this was a after hours breakdown gate was closed. The tow driver put the fob(key) under driver mat. Now the car is unlocked and sat there for Saturday night to Wednesday because dealership was not to bright to check out car. This caused a huge delay getting car fixed. So lucky no one opened the door liftted up the mat and drove off with car. simple thing and was told to put fob in drop box. So these drivers need to be told what to do to insure proper directions. Also the driver was spotted at a local gas station for two hours before drop off.
I worked with Kamren. Whenever there wasn’t anybody picking up or busy he was there to do the job 4am in the morning. My car broke down and needed help. 10/5 stars if possible
John is amazing! Came right out to tow my Suburban. Found the issue within 2 minutes and got the vehicle in gear and started so we could tow it and get it to the auto shop. Highly recommend.

This place is charging inflated rates for non-consensual tows requested by the Escambia County Sheriffs Office - the max charge for a non-consensual tow is $150, and they charged my son nearly $300! They also requested to be paid in cash ONLY which is suspicious in itself. I’m going to be looking into these overcharges on Monday! :( If your car is towed by these people against your will, make sure they don’t overcharge you. They owe my son a refund and if they are a reputable business, they will make this right. I attached a screenshot verifying the max charge of $150 for vehicles under 10,000. My son’s truck was 5,500 pounds.. :((
I was a single gal, enjoying van camping, until I was stranded at a campground on a Saturday morning. The driver, Robbie, arrived promptly and helped me to get back on the road again. He was super friendly and very knowledgable.

Michael provided excellent customer service; he was very helpful, patient, and kind. I didn't have to call him because he made sure to get in contact with me and even left a voice message when he didn't reach me the first time. My husband and I reached out to hook ‘em up after calling 4 tow companies that were unavailable for a late night tow. When reaching out not only were they available but the price was right and they showed up so FAST. This has to be the fastest towing service I have ever had in life. When the tow man ,Robbie, showed up he was extremely professional and got everything hooked properly and fast. After using hook ‘em up, this will be the only tow service we call if ever in need. I would highly recommend Hook “Em” Up for any of your towing needs. They were kind, responsive, and provided excellent service. Due to the situation and the position of my front truck tire (broken control arm), any movements of my truck had the potential to cause further damage. George and his crew was able to carefully maneuver and lift the front of my truck to avoid any further damage at all. After all was loaded, they thanked me for using their services. Michael Smith was easy to work with and had a "get it done" attitude. He succeeded where 4 other tow companies were not willing to even try. Michael was able to get our car out of a parking garage (with a little effort to push it out). Got us hooked up and to the local garage. Saved us on our weekend getaway from another state. Only regret was that we didn't call Hook Em Up first.
I live in an apartment complex, and on top of regular parking have a paid parking spot. My car is awaiting repair currently so I’m in a rental. It snowed and the office of my apartment has been closed, so I have been unable to get a temp parking sticker for the rental. So I wrote a note, saying that this car is in my paid parking spot and is not hurting anybody as nobody but me is allowed to park there. The parking brake was on, they towed it in the middle of the night, leaving a bald spot on my rentals tires. They proceeded to write on the back glass with white paint some unnecessary information that I guess they felt they had to mark up my rental with. Which did not come off easy btw. Than when I went to pick it up, they said they only took cash. Pointed me to the nearest atm down the road, telling me it was 214$. I go get the cash, come back, and am told they can’t give me change. What kind of scam are these bums running. Had I known all of this would take place I would have drove the car off their lot when I went into it to get my id. What a joke of a company.
I called my AT&T roadsides today. After the first tow company called to cancel on me after already waiting thirty minutes they sent Hook "Em" Up out. The driver called me right away and was there in twenty minutes. I explained the situation with the other towing company and where I needed to go. Which was not the address AT&T gave him, they have him the wrong destination. He called his dispatch got things squared away quickly, hooked me up and got them car on the way. Operator was nice curtious and professional. I will definitely use and refer Hook Em Up to others. Thank you for your assistance today.
Fast & friendly service, dispatcher was very nice on the phone, the driver John gave me call back very quickly and was very professional, asked for a call back when he was 5-10 mins out and he did, he hooked my vehicle up without any damage and it was a sketchy tow in my opinion, he did the job flawlessly, called the next day to ask for a reciept to turn into insurace, it arrived less than a minute from hanging up. i will be using Hook Em Up for all future tows. I was traveling to Destin and broke down in a pretty remote area of Florida. The closest dealership was in mobile. Michael loaded my car effortlessly and provided a ride for me to the dealership an hour and a half away. He was respectful and professional and I appreciated that. It was a scary situation breaking down as all the dealerships were closing, but he made sure not to leave me stranded at a closed dealership. Very appreciative to this company. They did a great job for me in a bad situation.
