Went in to get a dipstick to modify for a van that doesn't come with one. Could be multiple models. Guy at the counter wouldn't let me back to go find one, insisted on looking it up by make and model, then continued to argue with me about the models I was looking for. Needless to say I just left.
Is the cleanest junk yard I've ever been to . Was almost going to go to pcola but I'm very glad I didnt. Got a little annoyed at the way the phone is answered it will put you on hold automatically. Thought that was kinda rude but if you look past that one thing you wont regret it. Unless they dont have your car part .. ha
If you like this sort of place it's one of the best, take a hand truck, tools, hat,and water. If weather is threatening take appropriate gear, you may get wet and cold, but have fun, reparing your own vehicle is very rewarding.
They were very helpful and coming to get a car and trailer from my house that had been left behind by someone else. I did have the title but was not the mechanic that was going to use the parts to replace on another vehicle. Butler U-Pull-It was very responsive came when they said they would pay me what they said they wood.
The prices are a small bit higher than the other yard down the street, but they have a slightly better selection as well as the vehicles are better laid out. The vehicles haven't been ransacked either, found alot more parts I've needed here than anywhere else in the area. Definitely my favorite yard.
Nice people just not what car I needed parts for. They did not charge me and told me right away that they did not have the car. I have been places where they charge you and let you look knowing they don't have it. So I was grateful for that.
Very rude no respect at all they'll say whatever they have to say to get you off the phone. So if you're the type that likes to make sure the parts are stock; save your breath and go up there .
I heard negatives, but they were cool... Didn't have my part but made a couple calls for me and told me they could do better Monday... I was there on a Saturday...
I've been looking for a rear differential for my truck for 3 weeks $1,500 was my Average quote. Butler's sold me one that had 50,000 less miles and their competitor 4 third of the price! thank you Kevin I'll be back
If you need Auto Parts in can't afford new go there they will never part course you got to pull yourself. UPDATE I WAS JUST THERE FEW DAYS AGO. IT'S WORTH THE 1 DOLLAR TO GET IN JUST 2 SEE WHAT THEY HAVE THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE ARE ALL VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. JUST REMEMBER IT'S U-PULL IT. MEANS THE CUSTOMERS HAVE TO PULL THE PART THEMSELVES. PRICES ARE STILL VERY AFFORDABLE
They were helpful to me as an out of town victim of Precision Tune ripping me off. Took my car to Navy Blvd location and my car never ran again! Butler treated me very fairly in scrapping my car.
I looked for a Ford c6 transmission for weeks finally spoke to Butler's I was assured they had the tranny I needed come to find out they sold me a aod transmission then was told several times this is the transmission that went is my truck rest assured I'm no mechanic but I know an aod cannot replace a c6 one is electronic tranny and a c6 is vacuumed assist then for three days they argued the fact it would work???????
Years ago you could buy reliable parts for reasonable prices. Today's service is poor and outrageous prices $250.00 for only the 2 parts of the dash. I'd rather buy it new. I'll pass on that assbackwardness
Wasted my entire day today waiting on these people and my car still sits in my yard was supposed to be picked up 4 hours ago. Wouldn't suggest this place to anyone for any reason. Waste of your time unless your time means nothing to you.
