This is ran by the Perry Family which also has Perry & Son Land management very unprofessional when hired will trash your place, and take out your electric water and put holes in your house doing it. Not a very good company.
I turn in a trunk full of thick left over copper once a month from our ac Business. I always go to Jax metal scrap on Beach Blvd. I've been going there for years. They always do right by me.. I've never been turned away or had a problem. They know me by my first name. Once in a blue moon, if they're closed I have to find another one, and usually it's on the other side of town. Never had a problem with them either. Today, the one on Beach Blvd was closed for their vacation so when I searched and saw their was one at Atlantic Beach I was stoked because that's right by me. I called them first, and asked for information on scraping copper and hours and they told me what the price varies and I said ok I'm on my way. When I got there they asked if my tag was up to date, and I said my tag sticker expired last month but it's still good. They said no it won't work. It worked fine last week on Beach. I called them first, and not once did they mention that on the phone. I drove there with my gas light on because I thought everything was going to be fine. I had to drive home with that gas light still on. My husband came home and followed me to the scrap yard over near edgewood and they didn't have a problem. It was $400 worth of copper.. Them and those on Beach never let me miss a trip with them because as Jim says "she brings the big money, she's always welcome" .... This place sucks and I'll make sure to never return and I deal with a lot of people in this business and I'll be sure to spread my experience.. You people won't last long. .I could tell by the lack of metal and business you had there anyways..
We had a seamless and excellent experience working with Zack and the team at Beaches Recycling! They are a trustworthy family business who helped our church with assessing and buying, and finding a buyer for steel we had on our property from a project no longer viable. We were very pleased with the communication and speed with which it happened and recommend their business! Thank you!
Total ripoff. They paid 3 cents a pound for ferrous shreds. Recently received 8 cents in Pensacola & 10 cents in Stuart. Glad I don't live here because I sure wouldn't waste my time with these cheap small timers.
A lot more places need to accept scrap from people on bicycle what is the difference between a bicycle bring it or a car cause I am not waste gas to bring to you for low prices
Very rude when I called for prices. The website indicates a guarantee the best prices yet they are half of another recycling place on a Phillips highway cast aluminum. When I asked how they guarantee the best rate he said go ahead and take it downtown I don't care. I didn't ask how he guarantees the best rate and he said he guarantees the best way for what they can do and that's just what they do. Sounds to you to me never did get there not going
This place is phenomenal I don't have to drive all the way into the City and they gave me a great price. The owner works there she's a really good looking hard-working girl. Best of all they gave me a great price is actually better than the other places I called and it was right down the street from me. Makes me want to find some more scrap metal was definitely worth the trip.
