Very nice on the phone until I asked him to explain the towing charge on my towed vehicle. Then the man launched into a vulgar foul mouthed diatribe. This was really uncalled for and beyond rude.
We were having a rough day before our driver Chris showed up! Great driving and good vibes, he kept our spirits up and got us safely to the dealership with car in tow. Highly recommend this company for an affordable tow!

I called a day prior to set up a time for my car to be towed. I was told the earliest would be 9am. I call at 855am to confirm and am told 30-40 minutes. I call at 10am and am told 25-30 minutes. I call at 1055am and am told 1-1 1/2 hours. I find it unprofessional that I had to keep calling to check in. When I call a day prior to set up a time I expect it to be within that window. I sat for two hours waiting and then told to sit for probably 2 more hours. Wasting my time. Would not recommend or use this company again.

I look at allot of reviews. I have learned different experiences depends on certain perspectives and attitudes. And then sometimes things just happen. What I do know is that they did give me ETA's and if course sometimes it changes if there's traffic or unforeseen obstacles that may happen. What I do know is that the driver was professional, curtious and knowledgeable. I do recommend this business over the others, reasonable price and honest. That's a ten star in my book. The shop owner answers my call promptly and they arrived when they said they would. James the driver was a true gentleman and very professional. This was through my auto insurance and they still had excellent customer service. Would highly recommend.

I wish I could leave zero stars. Absolutely the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Customer service is horrible on top of it, they are super rude. They lie and lead me on saying “traffic” as if I can’t see live traffic and yeah okay maybe an hour for traffic at most… It’s been over 4 hours since the told me they were on the way and it’s been over 2 since they “picked up my car” I STILL DON’T have my car or even know where it is at that. I’ve tried calling and no one answers the phone. I am in a disbelief of this service. We are waiting at the tire shop and they were waiting on my car even though they closed and STILL CANT GET AHOLD OF THE PEOPLE TOWING MY CAR. DO NOT USE!!!!
So sorry not have gotten the man’s name that towed my car tonight but he did an excellent job. My car wouldn’t go in neutral or any gear and he came with the flat bed and made sure to do my car right getting in on there. Took extra care! Even doing his best to get it into one parking space in my small neighborhood. Excellent customer service! Also had the best price. I will be referring them to friends and family.
This company received roadside assistance call to pick up our brand new vehicle (less than 250 miles on it) from a service center and take to the dealership. Service center called to let us know that this company abused the vehicle after reviewing their cameras to find out why is was missing.
According to what they saw on their security cameras, this company showed up at 11pm, after place closed, even though the call to roadside assistance was at 4:30pm. They hooked chains to the frame box and jerked the vehicle sideways with the tow truck, then reconnected and dragged the brand new vehicle approx 30 feet to get it on the tow truck. According to the service center, there was enough room to get the vehicle without doing all this. Now waiting on dealership to look over the vehicle and see if they damaged the frame, transmission, or tires.
My driver was John, he was very respectful, cautious of traffic and made sure I was safe. He had my truck loaded in no time and made my day a lot less stressful. Highly recommend Auto Store Towing.
After reading the reviews, I saw many very positive remarks about the towing service. This was my first time using the service and I was indeed so very impressed! I totally agree with the previous reviewer, Chris was extremely knowledgable and treated my car like it was his own. I do not believe customer reviews most of the time, but this company has my support and recommendation to anyone that is considering their services. I am one HAPPY customer! We just used Auto Store Towing for the first time after waiting on AAA service for 3 hours. We were told they could have a tow truck to our home in 30-45 minutes. Driver Kris was right on time. He was very courteous and kept in touch with us by phone as he was on the way. Once the car was dropped off at the repair shop he again checked in with us. We would recommend this tow company to those in need and are happy to give them a 5 star rating.
While driving back from Savannah, GA on Friday night, the water pump failed on my Ford F350 crew cab, long bed dually (LARGE TRUCK). I was stranded at exit 42 on I-95 in Georgia and in a jam. I called a buddy and he recommended Auto Store Towing so I immediately called them. Gerry the owner told me hauling this big F350 was no problem and he could have a truck there in a couple of hours AND the price was AMAZING!!!! Just as he said, about 2 hours late a driver known as Lil' John showed up and went straight to work getting the truck loaded, strapped down and was super careful to not scratch the rims and be very careful with my baby (still love my truck). I followed along in my friend's truck all the way back to Mandarin where Lil' John just as carefully unloaded my truck. I have now saved Auto Store Towing in my phone and will just call them if I ever have future towing needs.
Troy towing was unprofessional and failed to pick me up with hours notice. Auto Stor Towi g stepped in and when notified, they made it to pick me up in less than 30 minutes. The driver even tagged dropped off my key with my information so the dealership could get started on my car first thing. Great service and very professional.
This company and specifically, the driver, Neil, is outstanding!! This company was a lifesaver after Metro Tow left me stranded on the side of 295 for over 5 hours. I used my car insurance's roadside assistance to get a tow truck after my car unexpectedly had a malfunction requiring me to pull over and making my car inoperable. Metro was originally contacted and gave my roadside assistance company the runaround for about 5 hours before I demanded a new company. I did not feel safe in my location on the side of the highway and darkness was approaching. Auto Store Towing received the request and quickly came to my aid. They were in frequent contact with me and got there quickly. Both me and my roadside assistance company wish this company had been called first. I know who my first call will be for any future tows. So thankful for their quick and courteous assistance!
So the starter went out on my truck. I called for a wrecker through my insurance company. Two-and-a-half hours later Roadside Assistance is hanging up on me. I found the number for Auto Store Towing. Chris and John saved the day! Within 45 minutes of my first phone call, Chris was loading my truck up. After the previous company told me that I couldn't ride back with the wrecker. Chris told me that he was not going to leave me stranded. Kudos to these guys. I kept their number and will use them for any future wrecker needs.
I requested roadside assistance through my insurance app on my phone around 10:15 pm. Auto Store Towing accepted the job. The ETA for the truck was 1 hour, after 90 minutes I attempted to contact Auto Store directly through the app. No one answered the phone so I contacted my insurance company for answers. The insurance representative was told that they could not do the job. My phone number was listed in the request but no phone call! Now it is midnight and no one is on their way to get me safely off the road. Why accept the job if you know you can't complete it? What if this was my wife waiting to be picked up? You should not be in the towing business if you accept jobs to save people from dangerous situations, then not even have the decency to call the person who is dealing with a broken down car waiting to be removed from harm's way. You stole more than 2 hours of my life! Thankfully a responsible towing company came to rescue my car and myself an hour later but they were on time with their ETA, I received five text messages updating me on the drivers location, etc (This was not Auto Store Towing and I don't want the name of the other towing company to be associated with them in any way). Do yourself a favor and move on to the next towing company.
Unfortunately had to have my vehicle towed - immediately went to the tow yard to recover personal items and found that some items were missing. The folks at the tow yard were very nice and professional. They transferred my vehicle quickly and coordinated all with the insurance company. The only downside to the ordeal was that a gerber tool and a pocket knife that were inside the vehicle a door pocket were gone and that is very disappointing. Of course cannot say for sure what happened or how the items disappeared but it is very disappointing and frustrating when personal items turn up missing on top of having an accident to deal with. Possibly fell out at the scene of the accident and are easily replaced and since no injuries incurred then the outcome is good. It is best to put things in perspective in all of life and not let the little things bother you.
I've never had to have my car towed before. I was very nervous. The guys at auto store towing were very nice and professional. They showed up sooner than the time I was given and the price was reasonable. Hopefully I won't have to be towed again, but if I ever do, I'm definitely calling them.
Had my car towed. Came promptly and without issue. The issues arose with them dropping the car off at the wrong location. Claimed all day and thru multiple phone calls they dropped the car off at the dealership and the keys were in the lock box. Turns out driver had the keys the whole time and they also couldn’t bring the keys to me as he was alone in the shop. Had to drive to their shop to get my keys back. Complete waste of time and an absolute s**tshow of a company. Do not use them unless you like having your car dropped off at the wrong location and being lied to.
Auto Store is AWESOME!!! Gerry was at my location before I knew it and was amazing. He was personable and entertaining on my ride home. You would be crazy not to use this company for any of your tow service needs!
My daughter's car needed to be towed on a Sunday to the dealership. Roadside Assistance selected Auto Store Towing. Gerry showed up within the time slot quoted. He quickly and efficiently had my daughter's car on the tow truck within what seemed like minutes. While not knowing how the towing process works (as I've never needed one before), I was very impressed! I followed him to the dealership and can vouch that there was no reckless driving. I would highly recommend this business for your towing needs.
