Guys did a great job working on my 1983 Jeep. It is truly the Jeep that has probably no original parts anymore. More of a Jenga than a Jeep, but they did a great job making it work. Thanks fellas!

I have been using IA for over 15 years on four different vehicles. Among many maintenance and repair services I have purchased 2 batteries from them, at no installation cost. . On the third one, they charged me over $100, above the battery price for an installation that took less than 5 minutes. When I questioned they first tried to justify the installation upcharge and then lowered it to $45. I made my feelings known to the owner without resolution. Things have changed at IA and you should review the expected pricing on all services before they're performed.

Surprisingly, the initial quote for a repair for my corvette was revised on the day of my car pickup. They did the complex repair expertly and revised the repair bill down dramatically, saying the repair took less time than expected. WOW! I definitely recommend this place!

Seriously the best mechanics I’ve ever seen! If there was a Michelin Star for mechanics they would have one! Got my 1992 dodge ram van RV back in working condition and got me in last minute before Christmas. Diagnosed everything that was going on with it and knew exactly what to do to solve the problems it was having. So many mechanics probably wouldn’t have touched my van and they were so kind and nice and communicative and professional! I was able to continue with my road trip and my van runs better than ever thanks to these guys! Would highly recommend these guys to anyone!!

I was stuck on the island delivering 30 packages for amazon. And my bottom radiator hose blew out. I was too weak to squeeze the clamp my myself. And these people refused to help me keep my job. They told me I also had to move my car off rheir property while it was still top hot to turn on. If I were you I'd go one more building and stop and the next building. Much nicer people. Much kinder. And willing to help a single mother keep her job. I will never ever refer anyone to island. They didn't have 5 minutes to help me squeeze a clamp. And wouldn't let me spend 15 minutes cooling my car down so I could try myself.. Karma. Shes not so nice when she comes around. 5 men standing around doing nothing. And they asked me to leave, I fouksnt even cool car down. They couldn't have cared less if I blew my head gasket. So sad.

We met with owner to discuss options, prices, availability, etc. and turned our car over to them to work their magic. Can't wait to see finished product.

Hi Keith & Vicky, We have been in business on the island for almost 40 years and you beat us as you started even earlier. And obviously, we both have set a sample of providing good service. Otherwise we would not be here anymore. For a long time I had mistakenly assumed you would not work on anything but collector cars. Just a short note to thank Jesse and all of you at Island Automotive for taking so good care of me today. The price for the work to replace a side panel of the window of my SUV was way under what I had been quoted by another company. The very few times I have visited your garage, I have gotten the feeling that you have a really good atmosphere amongst your employees as everyone seems ready to help out and I know where to go if there is a problem with our old Mini Cooper S and our Toyota Highlander. And obviously it is always a pleasure to see the beautiful restoration jobs you do on vehicles from an era that one was proud of their car. Jessie and his crew were respectful and kind, and worked hard to help me fix my car in an affordable fashion. This is the best auto shop I've been to in years, highly recommend them.

We got a flat, they got us in last minute. They found the hole, fixed it, reattached the tire. Best $18 I've ever spent. We appreciate you!

I've used Island Auto for repairs & regular maintenance a few times since I moved to Marco just over a year ago. They've always been great...friendly, professional, great little shop to sit in if you have to wait. Today I had an emergency right before a long planned trip. I was a bit stressed out to say the least. They were beyond helpful & kind. Even though they were booked solid they were able to help. Everyone was excellent but a special shout out to Peter behind the desk who was super helpful, kind & reassuring, and to Mike the mechanic who explained to me what was done & showed me the broken part. Love this place! Highly recommend!

Had a 10:30 appt for oil change and tire rotation hit me right in sat out front and talked to the technician while he serviced the car. Everyone I came In contact with was nothing but polite and friendly. The owner came in and she was just as nice as the rest of them. Highly recommend them for your service needs.. Mike the technician went above and beyond, washed his hands before he checked the cabin filter in the car. Class act

Took my truck to IA for a fuel issue. Truck was there for over 3 weeks. Every time I stopped by for an update Jessie kept feeding me stories. First told me I had low compression (hurt motor) but couldn’t show me a compression sheet / reading. Then he told me that he pulled my heads off & had them sent to a machine shop. Once he told me it would cost 7-10k to rebuilt my motor (only has 30k miles on it) I told them to put every thing back togeather & I’d pick it up. Come to find out Jessie said he never took heads off & never even diagnosed my fuel issue. They charged me $980 & did absolutely nothing but replace ONE $30 fuel line. Once I brought truck home I found a red rag & broken zip ties all in my bay. Finally took the truck to a real shop & got my fuel issue fixed which only ended up being a bad pump. Did a compression check & motor was healthy with no issues.

Service was very good. Everyone was friendly. Pete does a nice job at the front counter.

I can not adequately express how impressed I am with the entire staff at Island Automotive. They are professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to quality. Do not go anywhere else. These guys rock!

So everyone talks about their good experiences! Let me talk about a bad 1 (with great results). We took our brand new Mercedes there to add an item of convenience but somehow while there, it got damaged. A dent in the rear door. After a short "he said, she said" Jesse stepped RIGHT UP & did the RIGHT thing by just accepting responsibility & having it fixed. Yes, it sucked for us to have our brand new vehicle damaged, but when it seemed like our only other option was a drawn out small claims case, Jesse came to the rescue. So accidents happen & again, it was a lot of extra time spent by us with drop offs & then picking up again, but at least they DID the right thing & fixed an "accident" that happened on their watch. THAT is what a professional shop does. BREAK something, FIX it & move on. The end results were "as new" again so all is forgiven & BIG thanks to Jesse (& Chris too). Here's hoping our next experience with them goes smoothly!

I have a 1968 Camaro that was a mess and these people raised it from the dead. All the way from mechanical work to the best paint job have ever seen. Their office staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The whole place was as happy as me when I picked up the car.

They do amazing work and everyone that works here is very helpful and kind. The inside of the office is really neat to see with the booth and collectibles. There's always beautiful antique cars outside to see. Love this place and their work!

I have been doing business here for about 30 years their prices are very fair their technicians are expert in what they do easy appointments and very fast service I have always been satisfied.

This is the best place to get your car in perfect running condition. Fabulous work at a reasonable price. Very honest.

I had my F150 service here for the first time. The staff was very friendly and professional. The oil change, tire rotation and inspection was efficiently conducted in about 60 minutes. I appreciated the fact you can schedule the work ahead of time so there is no question as to when you can get in. Cost was very reasonable when you consider prices here on the island. I will certainly return next year when I am back on the island.
