I came in with a friend and the lady on the scale was extremely rude to my bf who is Mexican. It was like she refused to address him at all. Then while we were waiting to cash out I heard a conversation between both ladies that upset me. The one paying people seemed to be defending whoever was on the scale telling the rude lady that he does speak English she had a conversation with him previously.
Im not sure why your company would want someone like that interacting with customers. She was very rude and seemed racist. The lady at the window just smiled the whole time and tried to make anyone at her window smile as well, i didnt get her name but she was great.
Ive been going to this yard for the last 16 years and over the past few years the whole process of selling your metal to them has gone to hell but today tops it all after waiting 30 minutes to get weighed in get unloaded and weighed out sat in line for 45 minutes and being skipped in line by 3 or 4 people and after all that nonsense the ladys in the office are more worried about messing around with their shoes then taking care of the customers that are standing in 95 degree heat waiting to get their reciept to cash out. I think from now on ill be taking the hour i wasted waiting for shoes to be played with and weighing in and take my business elsewhere
Tried to get extra information about scrapping vehicles, waited for over half an hour for rusty never to show up. I then reminded the window tenant. He said he forgot. He then called rusty again, which I then waited one more half an hour, still no show.
Been coming here for years, the service has slowed to a snails pace. They need two lines for the title side and the scrap side. Waiting for 25 minutes to get a ticket, is unacceptable
The woman in the scale house absolutely amazing. So helpful so delightful such a cheery person. Glad to see they got somebody. New old woman was nasty before
The best recycling facility I've sold scrap metal to in a long while. The staff is great and very helpful.

Nice guys but when u bring in 9 construction trash bags 42 Gal each full of crush cans they tell u , it only 200lb and stack of facial and soffit something seems fishy .(;$100) for every thing . They r more then happy to still except a tip for sure . I question the girl at the window but she just looks confused how she got to work this morning. Just beware of which scrap yard u want to be screwed more at . Will not recycle anymore wast of everyone's time the land fill will do just fine .
We’ve been turned away a couple times saying they aren’t taking cans in right now. Tried again, checked Google for hrs, open till noon on Saturday, get there at 11:45 for them to already be closed and business hrs say they close at 11:30am! Thank you for wasting our time!
Only gave us .25 cents a pound for clean sheet aluminum. Every site shows even old cast is .45cents a pound. Weight seemed way off to. The fort myers location has always been great. Won't come to this one again
3 stars because the place is amazing and works exactly like I'd imagine they should but the 2 missing stars are for the lady at the scale (older, white hair I think) she is so mean and grouchy. I was afraid to look at her the wrong way Holy smokes. All peace and love if she was just having a bad day but.... wow this place is great tho.
New complaint?? Now being told will not except refrigerator if line cut after being told for years and years and signing paper that it doesn't have coolant in it. So now you don't make extra money from copper but still paying same price feeling ripped off!!! And now if you have any refrigerators with line cut they will go to land fill good move!!
Was able to get in and out fast and the guys in the non-ferrous area were great. The old lady in the office was rude, disrespectful and acted like she just didn't want to be there.
I live 25 miles from trademark metals in Cleveland Florida and have always buried my scrap metal there instead of in my hometown. Main reason is prices are the best around and the staff are generally friendly and very helpful, as well as getting in and out. As of late I have been very dissatisfied with the company in general because on Google when searched and also on the gate of the entrance that sign clearly states closes at 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon on Saturdays. The last two weeks I've attempted to the trip and made it there at 11:33 the first weekend and 11:30 for the second weekend and they were already closed when I approached the building and asked the workers if they were still open they told me know that they close at 11:30 on Saturdays. I understand the yard closes at 12:00 and now I understand that the scale closes at 11:30. It would be much easier if that is what their sign stated instead of me driving 25 miles two weekends in a road trip he turned away because I'm 3 or 4 minutes late past the 11:30 that's not posted. People sell their scrap
because they are in need of fun not to have a good time I'm not there to make someone stay late or what have you I don't carry truck loads miscellaneous scrap metal which takes about maybe 10 15 minutes to get me through if there's no waiting but it's okay I guess because of my lack of carrier knowledge that would say to me we close at 11:30 when the sign says 12 it's my bad not a problem not a problem wauchula closes at 12:00 and it's the same distance as Cleveland next week I will sell my scrap and what you were their sciences 12 they close at 12:00.
No instructions! Freaking dirt cheap price. On everything!. Not worth my time! Bring all receipts, even if u have a 1980 freaking AC. Awful experience with Scale Lady! Gentlemen on the ground had more helpful information than that lady.
Watch your weight. Cause they cheat you every possible time!!!! 8500 lb trk woman accused me of standing on scale?? Cmon how much can that help. But manager female!!! Will cheat you one way or another. Must be a bonus in there for her!!! sad chucks recycling. Was honest local family. We miss you chuck. Greedy company. So sad sure it really hurts the locals who do scrapping for a living.
They pay more per pound then most others in the area but the scale operators will rip you off in a heart beat today I took in clean extruded aluminum but the scale operator put in the computer that I had irony alum and alum sheet clean which pays a lot less money so do they actually pay more money no they don't care not going
As a truck driver, I will not ever be back to this place. Over 4.5 hours to get loaded, then over 7k lbs over on trailer axle. Wants to tell me they will have to rework it on next business day without paying my company for their time. No....don't work that way. My time ain't free. Had to rate 1 star but they aren't worth that.
The staff at this location are very helpful and courteous. Ms.Bobbie in the scrap metal department is always going above and beyond...She has even went out her way to give me some strong advice in my methods of scrapping. I appreciate all her help and will always return. Thanks.
My wife and I took our first load of scrap to the yard. The women in the office were great ,they even helped us on the phone with directions .The 3 guys in the non ferrrous area knew we were virgins to scrapping and they were extremely patient and helpful . We were running late and we were the last load on Saturday , and after there long week they had to finish up with us ! The young man who was running the scale even offered us a cold water . Thank you so much ! We will definitely be coming back and will tell everyone about our wonderful experience !
Friendly people and easy to follow system after a time or two! Prices and details are not spelled out but ask questions if your unfamiliar like me! Oh, show up !at least 30 minutes prior to closing.
