Came in not sure what to expect as I don’t know much about cars. However as soon as I entered Joel greeted me with respect and acknowledged me which goes a long way. I explained my situation that I am currently going through with my business van. He not only recommended the part but explained how it works and showed me what part is for what. He took the time to come out to my van and inspect it as I am aware he isn’t a mechanic but a helpful eye is very important as I know nothing regarding car repairs. I was able to make my purchase for parts needed and Once I actually felt as I was being service with honesty as suppose to other retailers. To all businesses who need help with there service vehicles and or personal cars come and ask for Joel. He’s the man !!!

I went to this location to replace the battery for my car. Before doing that, though, I made the line in customer service to have the battery checked before purchasing the replacement. In front of me, there were five customers; when all of them had been serviced and it was my turn next, I told the employee at the register that I was there to replace the battery, but before that, I wanted to have it checked. The employee working at the register, TRN# 8559 Leo C, I had to wait for the other customers to be served first and to stand aside. I asked him why when I had already made the line and he retorted "It is a free service so you have to wait until I serve ALL the customers." I asked if that was a company policy and he responded again "It is a free service, so you have to wait." For the next 45 minutes, I had to wait as all other customers in the store were served, as well as those who arriving after I had been told to stand aside. One customer, who had entered the store after I was told to wait, noticed that I was still standing aside when he got to the register and asked why I had not been seen yet. I told him that I was there to have my battery checked and had to wait until all other customers had been seen first. Leo overheard this conversation I was having with the gentleman and decided to interject by saying "What, are you complaining? If you're complaining, you can take it to my supervisor." I told him "Does it sound like I am complaining to you? I am not even talking to you, I am answering the gentleman's question. Just go ahead and finish with your customer and have a good day." After that, I waited 20 more minutes before I was finally seen by another cashier and had the battery checked and replaced. I am severely disappointed by the behavior of this cashier, Leo. I do not believe that any employee should treat a customer like this, especially a loyal customer such as myself who has given much business to this place. I believe this type of behavior is unacceptable and that had it been any other person in my position, it could have gone vastly different.

I’m so thankful for this place, especially for Joel. His kindness and expertise made my experience outstanding. He went above and beyond to make sure I got the right battery, which saved me a significant amount of money. Joel truly elevated my visit, and I couldn’t be happier. I’m also glad this business exists as a fair and trustworthy alternative to others that tend to overprice their products.

JOEL the Pembroke Pines location was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and helpful with my car battery. He help me figure out the problem and help me all the way til I pulled off. His customer service Was impeccable!!!! Definitely will come back for all my auto needs!!!! If you’re ever in PINES advance auto parts store ask for Joel!!!!

Usually helpful when open but the hours on the company site and here on this app state they close at 9 on Sundays.. when you get to the store they have a sign that says they close at 8 on Sundays…

UNHELPFUL.! Took a Brand new battery to charge . Gave me every excuse to not charge it and try to sell me another one. Can’t imagine how many people fall for this nonsense. Ripping off innocent people .

I needed my battery replaced and Ray and Kai made it a quick and easy process. Ray helped me find the battery I needed and Kai installed it for me but overall it was their attitude that made the pricey purchase just a bit less painful. They were ready and willing to help without any hesitation. This should be the standard in all Advance stores but unfortunately that has not been my experience. Thank you for showing me that poor customer service is not the norm in all Advance Auto stores. Great staff!

Especially when dealing with a particular Representative by the name "Joel V." a great soul . Truth recognizes truth. A real humanitarian. Don't you ever think twice or second guess him.

I went to buy wind shield wipers and the only person available in the front of the store was Christian. Since the beginning he was not friendly and seemed bitter, but I decided to go on and shop for what I needed. I asked if he would install them and I guess his answer was yes, even though he just mumbled something I didn't understand. After I payed we went to my car and he seemed he wanted to destroy everything around him. He carelessly pulled the previous wipers and threw everything in the trash can, including the packaging of the new ones and everything else. When he tried to place the new ones, he couldn't and instead of trying with a different attitude, he became even more irritated than at the beginning, and said the problem was with my car and not with the wipers, and he just left and went inside the store. A young man called Danny , who was outside, came to me and really tried to help. It's incredible that a person so rude and so bitter as Christian is working in a position where customer service is so important. Horrible customer service, horrible attitude and total irresponsible reaction to a problem that could have been solved with a smile. Will never go back to this place.

Very helpful in locating ordering and installing my wipers front and rear. The rears was ordered early morning and arrived in the afternoon . I would recommend you come here if you're in need of car parts

Joel was extremely helpful today: I needed to change my wipers on my car. He looked them up and found them quickly in the store. He even replaced them for me. I was in and out of the store in no time. Thank you, Joel!!!! I will recommend anyone to go there!

I will admit, I pretty firmly am—and always have been—an AutoZone kinda guy, but I wasn't about to drive further to just drop off old oil. That's about the extent of the interactions I had, but the young guy with curly hair and glasses up front was cool so there's that too.

It's Sunday I got to the store at 7:58pm and the doors were already closed if you look at there webside it says they closed at 9pm fayer I knock at the door the manager Mr. Joel said they were closed and that he was sorry but his computers were already down. I spend good amount of money since I have a commercial account with them to leave me at the front door and not help.

I very highly recommend asking for Jose. He is the best, caring and very detailed customer support employee I ever dealt with, especially if you need an HONEST assessment of your car battery a d alternator. The first technical tried telling me I needed a new alternator and battery. Just before that the AAA technician who jump started my car did a thorough check of the system and gave me a printout showing the alternate works perfectly and that the battery ( still under warranty at Advance), is the only problem. Jose replaced the defective battery only and everything for the past 7 days has been perfect. Jose is the best!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. No one here is willing to help to check and tell if an easy to check product will fit so people buy the correct one. Not to mention their products don’t even work as advertised and then they don’t even accept returns once it’s opened which doesn't make any sense. So tell me how can you try a product without opening it? If you don’t want someone to return something then help them in the first place so they can buy the rite product.

Avoid this place. Annoying workers who were unhelpful. They literally laughed when I asked if they could help at all. Couldn’t have had a worse experience other than I got my parts on my own and replaced my parts on my own. These people suck at their job. You can tell they have limited experience talking to customers or people in general. Hope they go back to whatever hole they crawled out of.

Wow! What an amazing experience I have had at this store. I want to congratulate the company for having Joel onboard. He is friendly, professional and took the time to explain and even provided tips for my DIY car project. I left feeling comfortable about what I needed to do with what I bought. Made a quick stop to buy a couple things. Walked right past a employee. Older gentleman with a hat. I forgot what exact part I needed upon trying to leave to get this info he finally greeted me. More to figure out if I stole something more than really help. Semi knowledgeable told me what I was getting wouldn’t work because it didn’t say my cars brand name on the label. Very insistent on saying it was wrong. I’ve had this car for 10 years using the same product. I’m pretty sure I’ll be ok. Other than that. Clean store. A lot of product

The staff was great. Very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. They helped me to test my battery and alternator, and check for codes on the computer. They also made sure that I understood the problem my car had. Thanks for great service.
