Came in due to car making noise. Michael came outside too his time and helped me figure out where the noise was coming from. Great customer service will be back!
Joel was great and knowledgeable, he helped me out with a gasket I needed and sold me some brake cleaner for a great price. Hard to find nice people nowadays with actual intent to help. Appreciate you Joel!

Had an awful experience at this location. The store has many empty shelves (photos uploaded), which already sets a bad tone. I bought a tire pressure sensor, paid for it, and later the tire shop told me it was not compatible with my vehicle (Without opening the box). When I went back to return it, they refused even though the item was completely unused (photo attached).
They justified it by pointing to a very small printed sign in the store saying electronic parts are non-refundable. This was never mentioned at checkout, nor was I warned before purchasing. The item didn’t even come in a sealed bag.
I’ve had the exact same situation at another well-known auto parts store and received a refund with no issue. Think twice before buying in Advanced Auto Parts. There are several other auto parts stores within a mile that offer much better service than them.
If you operating a tight schedule don’t count on this place being opened on time. I pulled in at 7:25 waiting for the doors to open, but the lights were off and a short African-American woman with blonde extensions strolled through the parking lot taking her sweet time to open the doors at 7:32.
Store was empty, 3 workers standing around doing nothing, couldn’t even walk me or guide me to the item I was looking for or at least offer alternative option
Leo at the front desk really listens to customer's needs, and understands we are not experts. Great advice, and a great place to shop for your vehicle's most needed parts!
They’re good for the basics, but when asked for some specific help, the response was - I don’t know. When I asked if I can try it out and return if it doesn’t work and exchange for the correct size, the response was no. If this keeps going, Amazon will wipe you guys out!
Came in not sure what to expect as I don’t know much about cars. However as soon as I entered Joel greeted me with respect and acknowledged me which goes a long way. I explained my situation that I am currently going through with my business van. He not only recommended the part but explained how it works and showed me what part is for what. He took the time to come out to my van and inspect it as I am aware he isn’t a mechanic but a helpful eye is very important as I know nothing regarding car repairs. I was able to make my purchase for parts needed and Once I actually felt as I was being service with honesty as suppose to other retailers. To all businesses who need help with there service vehicles and or personal cars come and ask for Joel. He’s the man !!!
I went to this location to replace the battery for my car. Before doing that, though, I made the line in customer service to have the battery checked before purchasing the replacement. In front of me, there were five customers; when all of them had been serviced and it was my turn next, I told the employee at the register that I was there to replace the battery, but before that, I wanted to have it checked. The employee working at the register, TRN# 8559 Leo C, I had to wait for the other customers to be served first and to stand aside. I asked him why when I had already made the line and he retorted "It is a free service so you have to wait until I serve ALL the customers." I asked if that was a company policy and he responded again "It is a free service, so you have to wait."
For the next 45 minutes, I had to wait as all other customers in the store were served, as well as those who arriving after I had been told to stand aside. One customer, who had entered the store after I was told to wait, noticed that I was still standing aside when he got to the register and asked why I had not been seen yet. I told him that I was there to have my battery checked and had to wait until all other customers had been seen first. Leo overheard this conversation I was having with the gentleman and decided to interject by saying "What, are you complaining? If you're complaining, you can take it to my supervisor." I told him "Does it sound like I am complaining to you? I am not even talking to you, I am answering the gentleman's question. Just go ahead and finish with your customer and have a good day."
After that, I waited 20 more minutes before I was finally seen by another cashier and had the battery checked and replaced. I am severely disappointed by the behavior of this cashier, Leo. I do not believe that any employee should treat a customer like this, especially a loyal customer such as myself who has given much business to this place. I believe this type of behavior is unacceptable and that had it been any other person in my position, it could have gone vastly different.
I’m so thankful for this place, especially for Joel. His kindness and expertise made my experience outstanding. He went above and beyond to make sure I got the right battery, which saved me a significant amount of money. Joel truly elevated my visit, and I couldn’t be happier. I’m also glad this business exists as a fair and trustworthy alternative to others that tend to overprice their products.
Just wanted to take a minute to recognize Joel who is the manager at this location. He went above and beyond to help me with my situation. Made it a simple and easy experience, I highly recommend going to visit Joel at Advanced Auto Parts on Pine’s Blvd and Dykes Road!!
JOEL the Pembroke Pines location was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and helpful with my car battery. He help me figure out the problem and help me all the way til I pulled off. His customer service Was impeccable!!!! Definitely will come back for all my auto needs!!!! If you’re ever in PINES advance auto parts store ask for Joel!!!!
Excellent and professional customer service from Abel. He greeted me as soon as I walked in and worked quickly to make sure I had the best deal. He shines a positive light on the neighborhood and deserves a raise or promotion.
Usually helpful when open but the hours on the company site and here on this app state they close at 9 on Sundays.. when you get to the store they have a sign that says they close at 8 on Sundays…
I needed my battery replaced and Ray and Kai made it a quick and easy process. Ray helped me find the battery I needed and Kai installed it for me but overall it was their attitude that made the pricey purchase just a bit less painful. They were ready and willing to help without any hesitation. This should be the standard in all Advance stores but unfortunately that has not been my experience. Thank you for showing me that poor customer service is not the norm in all Advance Auto stores. Great staff!
Excellent experiences. Professional, educational, empathetic, prompt ,helpful, supportive, trusting, reliable, and affordable. Especially when dealing with a particular Representative by the name "Joel V." a great soul . Truth recognizes truth. A real humanitarian. Don't you ever think twice or second guess him.
Made a quick stop to buy a couple things. Walked right past a employee. Older gentleman with a hat. I forgot what exact part I needed upon trying to leave to get this info he finally greeted me. More to figure out if I stole something more than really help. Semi knowledgeable told me what I was getting wouldn’t work because it didn’t say my cars brand name on the label. Very insistent on saying it was wrong. I’ve had this car for 10 years using the same product. I’m pretty sure I’ll be ok. Other than that. Clean store. A lot of product
The staff was great. Very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. They helped me to test my battery and alternator, and check for codes on the computer. They also made sure that I understood the problem my car had. Thanks for great service.
