Im not the kinda person that rags on people all day everyday with reviews. That being said, I wanted to make this one because the gentleman that ill be talking about went above and beyond his job. I was in weston a couple months back. I just left the dealership from getting my car fixed from a different accident. As I was pulling out I got hit by a BMW and flipped my new Honda landing on its roof. When the tow truck guy arrived, by the name of Bryan the first thing he asked me and the other guy if we were ok. He talked to me for a bit and explained everything that would be happening from here on out. He made me feel at ease and he made a bad, scary situation so much better. I been towed before by other companies and they were nothing like Bryan was they just wanted that money and they were rude. Anyways I also want to thank Jeff for helping me out as well Westway is the place to go. I highly recommend them. If I could give 10 stars I would. Ask for Bryan with the American Flag truck and you wont be disappointed.
Dispatch was so friendly and when thry dispatched Ronnie they let me know hownlong it would be. Ronnie was amazing. We hit road debris and it popped both of our right side tired and cracked our rims. He was so kind to all of us.
This place has the greatest customer service ive ever experienced. May took my stressful day and turned it right around in under 20 minutes with her great people skills, attitude, and eagerness to serve her community. Honestly, I started believing once again in human customer service after I went personally to Westway Towing and I was, for the first time in a Towing business, treated decently and with courtesy. I thought that was never possible for a towing company and they proved me wrong.
Customer service was outstanding, diligently helped us out, and provided all the necessary information.
Mr. Andy was more than helpful and the yard is well-kept and organized.
I was pleasantly surprised.

Westway Towing charges an exorbitant amount of money per day if your car is towed and driven to this location. It ended up being $461 and some change for three days, so more than $150 per day. I sent the videos and photos to Progressive, so they marked it as a total loss. They were able to pay for for the charges and towed it away to have the damages be assessed in West Palm Beach, FL. I got into an accident on a Saturday afternoon in mid-March 2025, so I wanted to go the next day (Sunday) to check it out, but their tow yard isn't open on Sundays. Only dispatch is available and for tow trucks to bring vehicles if there are accidents on Sundays.
Their hours are usually 8am-6pm Mon-Fri, and Sat from 9am-2pm. The representative I spoke with on the Monday after the accident was nice and transparent with pricing. She helped fill out the paperwork for the total loss. There was a guy in the tow yard to help me locate my totaled vehicle and retrieve the belongings. Only two people allowed to see the car in the tow yard.
Westway towing is absolutely terrible. They left all the lights on on my vehicle and when it died, and they didn't have a way to charge my battery which cost me more money. They screwed up everything. $500 in 2 days. There's absolutely a scam going on here. Anyway, expect to lose a lot of money if they tow you.
To make a long story short, Jeff is phenomenal, he really came through. He listened to what I had to say and went above and beyond my expectations Jeff, thank you for listening and guiding me the right way. Cesar, thank you for responding quickly. I’ve never had an owner who was so fast to respond. You guys both are a dynamic duo. I appreciate you thank you.
We were 1200 miles from home, and our motorhome broke down on the Florida Turnpike due to a failed transmission speed sensor. Westway was recommended by Bachrodt Chevy for towing to their shop for repairs. Tony did an excellent job of connecting our 30 ft motorhome to his wrecker and removed the driveshaft for the tow. He was very polite, professional and efficient. I highly recommend Westway.
Be careful with these people they are crooks. My car got into an accident and they towed it. They charged me over 800 wrecker fee. I signed away my car and took 400 off. No point in taking the car it’s a total loss. They still wanted to charge me another 400 anyway. Didn’t have the money to pay the remaining balance. Turned around and put a lien on my license for a balance of 1k. These tow companies have waaaaaaay too much power on what they can charge you. They seriously need to start regulating these towing companies. What sucks is BSO has a contract with them. So guess what that’s the first towing company they call for everything. Anyway guys avoid these crooks by all means if you can and if they get you car pray because it will cost you!!!!!
Should’ve known this was located in ghetto the second I spoke with the person they have working the phones. What a poor excuse for a dispatch / customer service representative. The level of incompetence was just truly utterly disgusting.
Made a request online for tow @1 am via third party they unfortunately recommended this dump, same girl working the phone, useless / unhelpful they send a nice guy over even after I had stated it was closed due to an event and the event ends 3 am. Obvs they aren’t able to get the car
11 am THE NEXT DAY I’m awaiting a call or something since they stated they’d send someone out in the morning. & the unfortunate excuse of an employee acted like she had no idea what’s going on or where she’s standing. Even though I have multiple confirmation texts through WEST WAY towings system.

The workers felt like leaving early so I ended up standing outside their shop for over an hour when the listing says they close at 5pm. I’m still here standing. I also have a leg injury and there are no accommodations or seating for guests and my leg is starting to swell up. I arrived at 4pm and no one was there. The door to the office was left open and the room was filed with cigarette smoke. On the wall there was an after hours number that I called and a girl answered saying that a driver would have to come bc everyone left early. It’s Monday. It’s now 6 pm and the driver still hasn’t shown up. I need to be compensated for this time and for the inhumane conditions on this property.
BEWARE!! I got into an accident on 95 s express where I hydroplaned and hit a wall at 70+ mph and almost died. The police of sunrise must work with Westway towing and my car was delivered to this location far west. In the ride with their tow guy who smelled like weed, and let me know the owner hired him knowing he smokes weed on the job. The stinky ride took me to their location where I was on the phone with insurance company still frazzled and the owner tells me to hang up and that he has something important to tell me. I’m thinking my car blew up or something. He takes me to his conference room and tells me my car can be saved and that I have to release it to their recommended Fort Lauderdale collision center. I know I don’t have to pick anyone at the time my car is in the tow place and the only person to release it to is the insurance agent to check the car out.
Long story short he tells me his guy will make sure it gets fixed or considered totaled and I would be making a mistake not releasing it to them. I look at the one star reviews (since everyone pays for 5 star reviews on google ) and it looks like it’s a scam going on where this guy gets kickbacks…..and the collision center doesn’t do a good job taking peoples insurance money. I Don’t appreciate being lured into their friends company and lies I have to release to a collision company instead of my insurance agent. Beware. Nasty unethical things going on here….. look at the one star reviews. They are real.
My car was towed through Westway about a week ago after paying the fees and escorted to my car I noticed that my front bumper was took off and placed in my car im strongly confident this is their wrong doing because who really drives around with their whole front bumper in their backseat. No one was no help since my vehicle was sitting for a day and they were near to close in addition I had a police report that also stated my vehicle was not involved in accident. My review is to inform people these drivers are careless when it comes to towing cars.
I've been using them in a professional capacity for 12 years plus. They have never once let me down. Always on time, fairly priced and drivers are extremely knowledgeable in their craft

Friend was is a motorcycle accident, could not get to the bike in the tow yard. (Needs wheelchair, can’t be bumped) allowed me to access the bike, take pics and recover some personal effects!
Absolute thieves!!! They are guilty of predatory towing. Will "steal" your vehicle just so they can make money. These people are unbelievable. Low-life crooks. And don't get me started on how rude they are to you and not helpful. They are difficult on purpose. They did not report my vehicle to the police as being towed for 7 days!! I called every police branch in the county and the next two counties. I even called the state. Nothing. The police could not locate my vehicle in their system as being towed. I was literally at the point I was about to report it stolen when I finally got a letter in the mail. And can anyone tell me what the hell a recovery charge is for? And why does it say "if applicable" in parentheses below that charge? There is already a charge for towing, storage, and admin fees...what is that additional fee (recovery charge) that they add on to make your bill so high you really can't afford to pay it without taking out a loan. After thousands, and yes I mean thousands of dollars later I finally got my vehicle out of there. It had been there for about 2 weeks, 1 week of which I did not know where it even was, cost me thousands. Deplorable business. Despicable people.
I would avoid using this tow company at all costs. Firstly, I was towed to a location way out of the way. The driver forgot to take my key so I was made responsible to drop it off at the shop miles away without a car. I went retrieve my items and now I am being told the driver left them at the gas stations even though we spoke and he said he will hold my items for me. I was told that my belongings were retrieved because I left them at the gas station that I was dropped off by the driver. Fast talking, shady company. Don’t waste your time or money, you will be disappointed.

I signed two contracts with Westway for two properties but was denied service yesterday. She couldn't even find our name and/or properties in their system. I was told over the phone that a contract should be renewed every year which was not mentioned to us in the beginning. I emailed who she said that I had to speak to but this person, through email, stated that the contract should be renewed every four years. We signed our contract two years ago! This means that it's valid. If your a business or have properties, you can not rely on Westway to provide you with good service. They're unreliable and failed to mentioned important details in the beginning. It's bad business practice and they breach the contract. Do business elsewhere. Two employees gave me two different renewal time frames. This is a company that'll give you buyer's remorse.

Terrible deal, for ourselves who are a towing company. And for the customer worse. Racists Tell you the posters that are open until 6:00 pm from Monday to Friday to pick up and then at the window, the lady tells you that it closes at 5:00 pm. They didn't let me park in the Disabled Parking. The truth is that they are authorized to steal from you, since they ask you for a thousand requirements to take a car out of the Police Pawn and lengthen it as much as they can. To charge more.
I had a pleasant transaction as I called and verified all the documents needed before heading to the Tow yard. If you get your stuff together, and not yell or have a snarky attitude with them, you would be surprised how easy the process is. I normally do not write reviews, nonetheless for Towing companies, but this was a smooth seamless transaction. KUDOS to the Westway team!! Tow truck company arrived on the sea. Jeff was very professional, understanding helpful. He told me what to do with the claim. He told me what to do with the insurance I did everything he told me to do. I came to the shop. He greeted me as well he asked me was I OK I told him I needed a rental. He directed me to the Enterprise next-door. This is a great team. They have here at Westway towing in Miramar. This is my first time ever being in an accident like this and if I had to do it again I will come right back here because the customer service is A1 100%.
Shelia !!! One of a kind .. The experience at this location was authentic and pure.. I’ve never been to such a professional towing place. From outside staff ol’ yellow and inside they’re simply just there to help. Please make sure to keep these people smiling they it deserve. This business is run by miserable people who don’t have anything better in their wsdted lives to abuse the kettle power they have holding somebody else belongings. Give them a lesson how to treat people boycotting this business and put them out of market!
Got charged 245$ to bring car home within a 3 mile radius. Ridiculous! And thats with cash! Horrible. Very expensive for the service when it wasn’t even that far. Truly felt ripped off! Wouldn’t recommend at all. They take advantage.
The police had called for us and they charged more! Smh. & He said he didn’t even charge us per milage to get there! The drive was only 10 minutes! Super inconsiderate.
Horrible customer service, they broke my side view mirror off of my van and did nothing about it, they ripped my dashboard off and didn’t put it back, They make up prices as they go. Robbing the public with no mask and gun.
Expensive but about what you'd expect for a towing service called in by the local police department. Payment options aren't great but the storage yard looks secure.
I had a fabulous experience with Westway after an unfortunate breakdown on I-95 on New Year's Day. Excellent phone experience with the dispatcher, and the tow operator was extremely capable and professional. Overall, a very very positive experience.
