I have a really BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PLACE .
The owner tell me the wires mixed with no STRIP was at that moment 2.35 $ a pound .I said that ok .
The put all the wires on the scale with the wood pallet and heavy duty carbo box.
The take out 66 pound less .
That what the said pallet & box weight.
Few min latter the owner said
The paper doesn't have enough info.
THEY CUT THE PRICE DOWN TO 2.20 $
I CAN DO NOTHING A THIS TIME .
PLEASE THIS PERSON IS NOT A HONEST MAN .
ALL THE PEOPLE AND ELECTRICIAN
STAY AWAY ON THID BUSINESS IS NOT A REAL HONEST BUSINESS .
In regards to Micheal A. Post bad attitude I watched him get upset about having his tag number taken down very little material but complained about the money ferrous metal A lower priced material is not usually accepted this is a non ferrous facility higher ish priced as well as salvage meaning you can buy from there as well EVERYONE SELLING MUST SHOW PROOF OF ID AND TAG NUMBER MUST BE TAKEN DOWN nothing suspicious unless you being suspicious WHICH HE WAS ASKING WHY DO YOU NEED MY TAG WHAT YOU HIDING MICHEAL. A, HE TOOK HIS MATERIAL BACK BECAUSE HE DIDN'T FEEL COMFORTABLE GIVING HIS LICENSE NUMBER ITS FOR THE COMPANY SAFETY have a (scrap-full) week
I went to this recycling center based on the previous reviews. As I arrived I was going to park in front of the location. I did not want to take a chance since there was numerous scrap metal including metal shards screws and other miscellaneous items on the street in front of this location. I did not want to pop any of my tires. In addition, The place was filthy and unorganized. The place look more like a junkyard than a recycling center. I unloaded of the items from across the street carrying them to the front of the facility. The items included an old 3-ton jack, two rotors and an old starter motor. The individual who I encountered said that there was nobody there to pay me for these items and that he could not help me. He then walked away. At the same time an African American man pulled up in the truck full of recyclable items. He immediately ignored me and went to that individual. I called the listed number for the company and an individual said that he would be returning within 7 minutes. I observed a man with a beard returning to the facility and then they took my items inside. I told them that I'd never been to a recycling facility before. I saw an individual walk over to my car with the piece of paper look in the back window and begin to take my license plate down. I started to film this since I didn't know what he was doing. The person in charge of the recycling yard said I'm looking suspicious and why am I recording the man taking my license plate. I told him I didn't know what he was doing.
I was then explained that they need your license plate make model and your ID in order to recycle items. But, due to his attitude and him calling me suspicious for only we're trying to recycle very little items compared to others I asked for my items back. The same male threw the items onto the street, then walked back inside the facility. After I pick the items up I put them in my car and went to another recycling facility. I had no problems recycling my items there. All the individuals working they were African American and I was Caucasian. So in my opinion if your Caucasian don't go to this facility since the only people they were helping were the people of color.
I had a very honest experience with this company. I thought I was all done with my transaction. But, as I was leaving the owner came out and said that they owed me more money. That was real cool by me.
I know recycle place for 17 ears very competitive paying you for the your metals
and for me I found a lot of tools,gas & electric motors for my project & many different electric cables
