$461 for not even 24 hours. Motorcycle was towed on Ft. Lauderdale Beach around 11PM, I’m grabbing it the very next day, called and they quoted $461, and the question is for WHAT? Less than 24 hours storage of a motorcycle and a 2 mile drive to their yard? These tow yards are a damn scam.
Missed a death in the family because my car was towed. As you could imagine I wasn’t in the best spirits and the lady on the customer service line made sure to lecture me on how this whole situation was my fault competently unasked for.
I had an awesome experience with this company the lady at the front was nothing but helpful and answered any questions I had about the cost and towing of my vehicle that the city of Fort Lauderdale towed from my complex very helpful mindful respectful young lady
Came to get my vehicle this morning and I'm going to share my experience with the customer service. When I had got to the front Desk, the receptionist was very rude. Seem like she didn't wanna be there just with her poor attitude. I don't know why It feels That she has the right to treat people like that when she looks like she just rolled out of bed .Then she has another employee come to collect the money don't have a pen to sign then he throws the pen and gives attitude when i ask for a pen. I don't appreciate having to come down to this company and having to pay this money to get my car out of the tow company after I had a flat all night to wake up to my carving toad and to be given so much rude customer service.I hope the manager looks into this so they don't treat the rest of their customers poorly.
I had issues. I was trying to get a towing company to get my car. It took three hours when I finally contacted him again because the guy told me it will be $500 until my car home when it was only 280 and I called my Geico insurance. They are unable to get a towing company to get my car so I called Westway towing company again . And the lady I spoke to mocked me was very unprofessional and rude. And when I asked for a manager, no response this is the worst service I ever had.
The only good thing I have to say about this place is that they only charged $130 to tow my car back to my place since it was totaled. Oh also the kind gentle men I spoke to outside who was very sweet. But the older lady who works inside, is miserable. It’s understandable working in a place like this where people come to you already pissed off but that was not the case with me. I was kind, respectful, and prepared to pay whatever yet I was met with attitude and a stank face. That combination was enough to ruin my morning. I will be praying for some light in her life because she needs it.
The customer service here is Atrocious. No hello, no name, no "how can we help u", just westway towing. Didn't get notified from the Fort Lauderdale Police Dept. That they even found it. Nope just a bill for $800 which they (westway towing) knocked down to $500 which i was thankful for but knowing the economy we are currently living in who the hell has $800 let alone $500 laying around to throw away like this, oh did i mention my scooter was STOLEN yet i had to pay the towing charges - and the theft happened like 2 yrs ago - So basically I was the victim twice over
Can’t believe I’m writing a 5 star review on a towing company but Brian + team has been great. There was some damage from the tow that they repaired right away & the team has been kind and responsive. It sucks having a car towed, sucks even more when theres some damage, but I’m thankful I am dealing with an honest company.
Worst towing company ever, don’t let them tow your car because it won’t come back the same way they took it. I went to go pick up my car and the bumper had damages , both fender splash shields ripped and dragging on the floor when I arrived. A scratch on the back side of my car as if they hit something while backing it in. They did not care the man working there was so rude and disrespectful. I filed a damage claim and was told someone would call me to fix it a week later nobody called and then they said it was not their fault and they are not fixing it. All they did was cut the part off so I was able to drive that day. I guess according to them that’s what “fixing it “ is. No care for other peoples cars at all. Then when it’s their time to be held responsible for what they done they wanna avoid you.

My vehicle was towed here after being involved in a collision and I felt that it was necessary to write a positive review highlighting my experience. I was weary when I arrived to the tow yard citing my own personal experiences with other tow companies in the past but my fears were quickly laid to rest. The tow yard is for one centrally located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale in the SIstrunk neighborhood which is being revamped. The receptionist was pleasant and informative from the moment I stepped in the door. She told me which paperwork I would need and gave me information on the next steps for handling my vehicle with my insurance company which I thought was extremely helpful. I needed to get my personal effects out of my vehicle so she told me to take the forms and my ID next door to the tow yard and they will open the gate for me to retrieve my belongings. It was a hot day and what she did here may have been a small detail but for a person like me who notices someone going the extra mile it meant alot to me. Instead of letting me sit in the sun and heat she had walked to the back of the tow yard where the worker is using heavy machinery to strategically place the damaged vehicles that come in and out of the yard daily to let him know that I was at the gate. If the receptionist had not done that I most likely would have been sitting out there for a very long time. I was escorted back to my vehicle and I was able to retrieve everything I wanted and wasnt being rushed or made to feel like I was being monitored by the staff. I met the owner Brian while retrieving items from my vehicle and you can see why his employees are as professional as he is. When he mentioned he was from New York thats when I knew I was in good company. We chatted about my VW that was wrecked and also gave me some free information on what would happen next with my car. As im sure most people dont run to write a positive review about a tow truck company I felt as if it was necessary to highlight my experience.
I signed two contracts with Westway for two properties but was denied service yesterday. She couldn't even find our name and/or properties in their system. I was told over the phone that a contract should be renewed every year which was not mentioned to us in the beginning. I emailed who she said that I had to speak to but this person, through email, stated that the contract should be renewed every four years. We signed our contract two years ago! This means that it's valid. If your a business or have properties, you can not rely on Westway to provide you with good service. They're unreliable and failed to mentioned important details in the beginning. It's bad business practice and they breach the contract. Do business elsewhere. Two employees gave me two different renewal time frames. This is a company that'll give you buyer's remorse.
My car was towed from las Olas and the next morning I went to my trunk and noticed that my bumper was damaged from the improper tow. I went back to the office the next morning and place a damage claim and 3days later it was denied. This is the worst tow company ever don’t trust them to tow your vehicle , and check for damages after you pick your vehicle up. The tow truck drivers will damage your car and take a picture and say it was prior damage when it was not just to cover their self.
TERRIBLE customer service. That lady in the office is miserable and it shows in her attitude. She’s EXTREMELY unprofessional and disrespectful. GHETTOOOOO.
She wanted me to sign a release form and put my name in a line that clearly stated “ I have inspected my vehicle before releasing” I DID NOT INSPECT MY VEHICLE so I did not put my name on that line. She came to the window and started talking to me in a very unprofessional way and I felt disrespected. After asking her multiple times to please not talk to me like that she made very clear “this is how I talk”.
We got into an argument, GHETTO. Theeennnn a white man walked in and she was so calm and sweet to him.
I signed some other paperwork to go to the back and see my car then came back to sign the original paper. No one spoke to me to tell me that was all I can go until some other guy I’ve never seen kindly told me that was all I can call my insurance and so on. They basically just left me there sitting.
Thank you so much, Jeff…….. we got into an accident today and when I tell you, Jeff has been 100% amazing who would’ve thought I would have gotten hit two days in a row. But again I was told by a professional towing company most of the time when you’re dealing with someone companies are very rude and hard to deal with and you’re so upset about the accident that sometimes you can take your anger out on the toll company. But when you get towed by a professional towing company who take their time to explain to you the next steps that you should take. Also letting you know that they’re a phone call away whenever you need them. Jeff was so amazing. He helped taped up the back of my car to make sure that nothing got into the car.. He was also able to tow all the cars on scenes.
I have never been more grateful to have this contact in my phone, knowing that whenever I call Jeff at West Way towing that he will be there to answer and help.

I don't even know where to start regarding this ridiculous situation that happened so here it goes. I was dropping a friend off to pick up his vehicle and he kindly asked an employee in a westway tow truck where the main entrance was because the door we saw said authorized personnel only. It was about 95 degrees out and I'm disabled (and parked in a handicapped spot at the business) so I can't really walk around too far especially in this heat. Well the employee for wherever reason was unable to direct us to the proper front entrance and started to exchange unprofessional words with the person I was with. I just stood there is shock when I saw the guy get out of the truck and start approaching us and arguing back. I was convinced a fight was about to occur due to how aggressive and hostile the situation had become. We went inside after we walked away and midway through the process the same driver comes in and starts exchanging words again with the person I was with. I'm just at a loss for words regarding how this whole event unfolded and the complete lack of professionalism over a simple question of where is the front door.
Jeff took the best care of me , treated me like family. I was very stressed about my accident and Jeff handled everything for me. I am so happy westway took care of my car and had it taken care of the same day. I will definitely recommend them to anyone with car trouble.
Awesome customer service during a difficult time. I was in a car accident and could not use my hands afterwards, so Jeff and Nick offered to help my mother with anything she needed. Even in the rain, they gladly assisted her so we could get everything we needed and not have to come back. They made sure I was comfortable while doing so. Organized and down to earth. I would highly recommend this company for your towing needs.
Jeff, the owner of Westway Towing is an incredible business owner. Jeff provided the best customer service even after my car left his yard, he personally gave me a ride to enterprise to pick up my rental, recommended a certified repair shop, and even weeks after my car left his yard he continued to help me get updates on my vehicle repair even though he wasn’t the one fixing it. 5 star customer service and 5 star communication. The entire process was so easy and he will go out of his way to help you. If your car ends up getting towed here, you are in good hands.
The wheels off my car were stolen and the vehicle was left on blocks. The vehicle was towed on Christmas. They took zero precautions to protect the vehicle. Bumpers were scraped, gouges we're left in the pavement from where they dragged the car on it's brake rotors onto the flatbed. Vehicle was then dropped off in a mud pit from where they would not be able to drag it out. Was told there was no way to put tires on it so I paid for a delivery to a tire shop. A driver came up to me after and told me he would put tires on it for a cash payment in the yard. So to recap, they towed and damaged my vehicle, dropped in a spot it couldn't be dragged out of, charged me for a delivery, never delivered and charged me again to install tires.
We met there by accident where our car was towed!!!
When we walked in to look into a release, we were welcomed by the manager Jeff D. What a pleasure...He is a wealth of knowledge about accidents ,consequences of dealing with insurance, legal matters and repairs diagnoses and solutions.
His advice was material for us to handle the complexity of the consequences of the accident and the car condition.
We highly recommend, need be, to use their services.
They over charged me very rude with a terrible attitude I would never recommend this company. They even went as far as to calling the cops when they gave me one price of 160 to tow my car 1.5 miles a half a mile to my house then when I got home he gave me a bill of $331, this is the most terrible horrible company I would ever want to work with. I recommend you people please do not I repeat do not use this tow company to tow your truck or car. Very rude and disrespectful horrible attitude with very low education.
P.s if anyone has anything positive to say about this company, they are working with family members for a very extreme cheap price. Again I would never never ever this tow truck company because they are very negative attitude.
I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I was in my very 1st accident a couple days ago and the police had my car towed to Westway towing. The owner, Jeff and his staff were the best. They were so helpful and kind. I couldn’t believe how much easier they made my situation. My experience was so positive that I would recommend them wholeheartedly.
It was labor day and i had a meeting to attend to at the hospital. Short on time, the person on site ,Jeffrey Dehoyos, was extremely fresh and rude and was being deflective , insisting i had hit something on bumper damage that had happened 6 months ago when i asked him only about the tire being completely blown out. He insisted it happened along with the bumper damage, for which i have video footage, pictures. The car was towed while parked, so i have no idea at what time the tire was damaged. It is unfortunate such an individual has a know it all complex and made his best effort to make my situation even more difficult. After asking him to please stop behaving like this, he said, "i was gonna take care of this for you, but not anymore". He proceeded with kicking me out of the yard. A class action lawsuit should be brought for all these small damages. I can't be the only one who has experienced such ill will or mishandling of the vehicle.
Never in my life would I have thought I would be writing a good review for a towing company. Brian and Jeff had exceptional customer service and really helped me through the process of handling my vehicle post -collision.
As I was dealing with a scary and stressful situation, Jeff made sure to calm my nerves and guide me through the steps. I appreciate this more than anything and will now be recommending a tow company to people, which I never thought I’d be able to say!
Last month, our car was stolen but when recovered by the authorities, it was towed by Westway. Normally, tow companies have a terrible costumer service reputation. Westway (specifically the Fort Lauderdale branch) was a breath of fresh air! We were in an emotional state about our car and Jeff, the manager, was very patient and even warned us about the interior condition of the vehicle. We weren't comfortable driving it due to sanitary reasons so Jeff took it upon himself to help us clean out the car and dispose of the junk that was left inside. Having a car towed is a frustrating ordeal but I'm glad we went through it with Jeff and his team at Westway Fort Lauderdale. - THANKS JEFF!
