Terrible Experience – Borderline Scam
I took my car to Sammy’s and was extremely disappointed. First of all, the prices are outrageously high, to the point where it feels like a complete rip-off. They charged an absurd amount just for a basic diagnostic, and to make matters worse, they took forever to even look at the car.
Customer service is nonexistent — no updates, no transparency, and they clearly don’t care at all about the customer. On top of that, the way they handled my car was careless and unprofessional. It’s like they had no respect for the condition of the vehicle.
I would never recommend this place. It’s overpriced, untrustworthy, and totally lacking in customer care. Stay away from Sammy’s if you value your money and your car.
Im very happy with the service. The team was honest, helpful, and explained everything clearly. My car was ready on time and running great. I really appreciate their work and recommend them to anyone looking for a good mechanic.
These guys saved my day. I had a huge nail in my tire while going to child from school. So I was lucky to be near Sammy’s auto house. The technician fixed my tire in 10 minutes, checked the air in all of other tires and only charged me $40. Very happy about the service!
Sammy’s Auto house was a great experience. I recently took my Mercedes E-350 2020 here with a compressor issue and Sammy’s auto house fixed it to perfection. The service was great and followed through with me until the problem with my car was completely gone. The price of the repair was very fair and reasonable and the customer service was brilliant, highly recommend taking your vehicle here if any issues arise.

I dropped off my daughter's car to get some mechanical things restored to new now my 2004 Toyota Camry is brand new. Including a brand new paint job completely sanded and buffed out, just look at her brand new 2004.

This guy is a cheat. Stay far away. A real POS. Held my car , sheriff involved . It was a whole ordeal. If you sign his paper for an estimate, he adds a pile of stuff to it after the fact. Not a man of his word. Be careful.

A total scam. My father and I brought my car here because the AC was blowing hot air, they called back after an hour (yes, an hour) saying I needed to have my brakes changed and a multitude of problems that needed to be repaired totaling $4000+. Went to pick it up early because no way in hell were we trusting these guys with my car, we get there and they try charging $360 saying they charge $120 an hour, but my dad explained to them that they clearly only worked on the car for an hour based on the time we arrived and the time they called… so they brought the price down to a generous $160! So we paid $160 for absolutely nothing :)
Don’t trust this place, they really want your money and will scam. My car’s AC is still broken, this should’ve honestly been such an easy fix but now I have to take my car someplace else. What a waste of time and money, just take your car someplace else, one that doesn’t have multiple reviews calling it a scam.
This place is a scam. My car’s steering wheel was shaking and took to this place to diagnose which cost $150. Couple hours later, the owner called me and told me that I needed to change all four struts and four tires of my car to fix the problem. And the cost was $3700 plus. Guess what! I fixed the problem in the shop where I changed tires in one and a half hour and cost nothing! Go away from this place if you don’t want to be rip off!!!
These guys negligently installed a part in my car and did not secure it with the corresponding screws and when I took the car to them to put the missing screws in, they refused. They think they only gained maybe 30 minutes, but they couldn't see that they lost more than that, because they lost me as a client, my family and my friends. In addition to showing negligence, they showed little or no courtesy to the customer, and little honesty. So if you plan to take your car to this workshop, think twice.
Amazing service here! We are from out of town and had an emergency with a metal piece hanging under our vehicle. The staff at Sammy's dropped everything and helped us immediately. Come to find out we had a huge oil leak. The issue was resolved quickly and everyone was extremely friendly. If I lived out here, I'd definitely come out here again! Thank you thank you!! You all are a godsend!
I needed at least one new tire to travel another 4-5 hours from E FL to W FL preferably in daylight. Sammy's crew found a need for a set of balanced tires and a new air filter.
I reminded them I had a long way to go and they did both jobs well by early afternoon. Besides that, they gave me a snack while I was waiting in their office.
I have brought my car to Sammy’s Auto House twice and will probably never return.
For my first visit, I was charged an absurd amount of money for some seemingly necessary work (the classic mechanic spiel). Following that visit, I had to return because they didn’t reset something with the electronic part of my car so one of my tires wasn’t able to be gauged. After they fixed that, the same issue occurred but I was unable to find the time to get it fixed so I just left it be. Fast forward, I went back for an oil change and to address the reoccurring tire reading issue. They apparently had no record of me ever going and the work they did previously and proceeded to quote me with another outrageous number claiming that the tire sensor was broken (even though it was never an issue until I first went). I reluctantly agreed and when I went to pick up my car, they had charged me another $300 saying it was for taxes.
Overall, they claim to treat costumers like family but both times I’ve brought my car in for work I was overcharged and caught off guard.
Sammy's Auto House provided exceptional service. They are compassionate and kind people who I trusted in a time of need with costly repairs. I was given a fair quote and everything was performed as promised. I am thankful that I chose this shop as I had never done business with them before then but I certainly will keep them in mind for anything my Volkswagen needs. Thank you Sammy's Auto !

For someone that never thinks about leaving a review, I could not help but to share my experience with Sammy's Auto House recently. I have been utilizing the company for absolutely everything car related for the past 3 years and will never go elsewhere for countless reasons. More than a service, they provide and care about your experience.. as well as comfort and needs but without trying to break your bank like everyone else. I have been to many auto shops over the years, but none as trustworthy and efficient as Sammy and his team.
I recently called them about something another shop made appear into a list of issues for a family member of mine, and instead, paid a few hundred bucks with Sammy without ever seeing the issue again. Their diagnosis, communication, and professionalism.. is 2nd to none. Everyone should understand it is their job to diagnose and point out issues, with it being your decision at the end of the day to repair what needs repairing.. this comes with a cost. Fully endorse them! Thank you!!
Called this place because I was broken down down the street, having starting problems. Have done some self car repair work myself with valve gasket, suspensions work (etc.), have a bit of knowledge of car mechanical functions and was guessing I was having starter problems. Called to get estimate, explained symptoms and issues I was having.. This place wanted to charge me around $450 for new starter including labor.. I asked what was labor charge and they said $130 something.. so basically charging me $300+ for a new starter... I told them no thanks, new starter was no more thank $200 for 01 Honda Accord. It ended being just a battery issue. Spend $200 on new battery.. this place is just looking to take advantage of people's money and lack of knowledge.
Honestly I was looking for several hours for a mechanic one phone call I had a really good feeling about going to this facility. After my experience here I will never go to another mechanic!! This is by far the best mechanic I have ever been too and I will recommend all my friends and family here from now on. Best service fixed my car at a very fair price and this is family owned so you know they are about fixing your cars and getting it right rather than just saying things to get your money. My NEW MECHANIC FROM NOW ON I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE I LOVE IT HERE!
We brought in an older vehicle that had stalled while driving. Sammy diagnosed vehicle and did not throw parts at it. Sammy was professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

Came in for a pretty big job on my 2015 Toyota Camry, needed all of my rotors changed, and all my brake pads changed. Sammy was quick to get in touch with me to let me know the breakdown, and what exactly needed to be changed, and why. He went out of his way to find good quality material that fit within my budget, and got it all done within a day. I will definitely be back, this is a gem of a local shop! Thank you Sammy and team!!
These are great honest and hardworking people at Sammy's Auto House. I bought a voucher from Groupon and they were transparent about the service that they would provide, and what the cost would be should I agree to have any additional work done. They did what they said they would do and did not try to do anything unnecessary. There was no caveat to this extremely good value service. I would be happy to return to Sammy's and become their regular client for my vehicle because I am certain of their integrity. They operate in good faith and deserve a loyal and steady customer base.
I have purchased group on coupon with them for the wheel alignment. When I went to first time, they said the tires are not good, so we can’t do alignment. So I went back and change the tires. Next time I book the appointment and went, now they said because they are busy, so it won’t be done today, if I must do today then will take a long time. I still got agreed and to get the work done. But then a gentle man in office says since your car is minivan you have to pay extra $80 on the top of group on coupon due to bigger car of SUV size. However, their fine print clearly defined as follows:
• For 4-wheel alignment option: excludes cars that have been lowered (modified), exotic cars (Lamborghini’s, Ferrari’s), extended cab trucks, double-axle nor double wheel trucks, commercial trucks (such as semis and box trucks).
My car is not fitting into any of the above description, but still, they are asking me to pay for group on coupon+$80 more. I told them even if I will lose my group on money but will not do the work and left because fraud is not acceptable. Fortunately group on did the tread in.
Amazing experience in this place as always. They have an amazing staff, they’re very welcoming and friendly. I would definitely come again, and I would definitely be a customer for ever.
