Recently started working in the area so I figured I’d give them a shot. Was not disappointed. Service was good, on time, they didn’t try to upsell, recommended waiting on breaks that had more miles left in them, and fairly priced. That is saying a lot about a mechanic in 2025!
I just had scratches removed from my car. They did a phenomenal job, it looks like new. I get my car serviced by Cam Automotive for everything. They are very professional and nice to deal with.
It was my first visit to Cam Auto Repair shop. I brought my van in for a brakeline and undercarriage inspection for rust. Mark said everything looked good and also allow me to get a visual look as well. I have a 10 maintenance service coming up in November and I will be bringing back to Cam. I love their honesty.

New customer never came here before 1st I came last week for a tire rotation he said it was to close to 6. Today I came at 2:50 no where near 6, I need a tire rotation only and they said it’s going to be awhile. Stay away lazy and does not want o help my 2nd time walking away from and last, never going back respect our time
Avoid Cam Automotive of Deerfield at all costs. We had our 2016 Land Rover LR4 towed 1.5 hours to Land Rover of Orlando after the coolant system catastrophically failed while driving on the turnpike. Upon inspection, the failure was traced to improper installation of the hose from the thermostat to the radiator. The hose was routed incorrectly during the radiator install, causing it to rub against the A/C compressor pulley until it was eventually severed—leading to the blowout. The workmanship was poor—zip ties were used and along with not installing proper clips.
To make matters worse, when we brought this to the attention of Mark at Cam Automotive, he responded aggressively and deflected any responsibility. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, he blamed everything and everyone else.
Dishonesty and substandard repairs are a dangerous combination. I strongly recommend you take your vehicle elsewhere. This kind of negligence could have led to a much more serious outcome.
We had a wonderful experience at CAM. Always professional and took the time to show us things others had missed! Don’t make the mistake of going somewhere else!

My son's car broke down at midnight, booked an appt. on CAM's site about 1am. By 8:30am I received a confirmation from Mark. Got us in that same day and identified the problem. Mark was professional and friendly and communicated with us the entire time including time frame to fix. Received a fair quote from Mark and authorized the repair. Another problem was identified after we took delivery of the car. Mark got it right in, ordered an additional part at NO additional expense to us and took care of it. Highly recommend these guys! We moved new to the area and Cam automotive was recommended by a neighbor. The guys at Cam were fantastic when we brought my car in to get the compressor repaired on my 2015 car. Very reasonably priced and done in a timely manner. While at Cam they gave me an estimate on the drivers side front axle that was bent. Cams estimate was much cheaper then I had received from another mechanic. Cam made the repair and my car drives like new. I would highly recommend Cam. Very honest and very professional

Friendly service and normal costs. $39.95 (plus tax) for an oil change on my Nissan Altima. Easy drop off with same-day appointment and it was reported to Carfax right away.
Very happy. I called around a few places today Friday, and was told I could not get an appointment and would have to wait but they would fit me in but it could take one to two hours.
I got an 1pm appointment same day at Cam’s. Mark was nice on the phone and very nice and informative about another car issue when I saw him in person.
My oil change was being done as soon as I gave him my key and then he continued with taking my info. The price I was quoted over the phone was the $39.99 for a regular oil change plus tax, which is exactly what I ended up paying AND they were done with my oil change in less than 25 minutes. Again I’m very happy. This was my first time and I’ll definitely be back.
Great first time experience! Did a walk-in for an oil change and was greeted by Mark, the owner. He was super friendly and professional. Thought I had to wait a good hour for them to finish the job but it was much quicker than expected. Pricing was great and affordable! I also had a few questions regarding my vehicle and Mark was knowledgeable and able to answer them. That made my mind at ease. Thank you for the wonderful service!
Always have had great service from Cam Automotive. Recommended several people to use his service. However, I was a little disappointed on my last visit. Took my car there to get service for misfires. Just wanted to know what was causing the problem. He ordered 4 new spark plugs from Honda ($44 per plug) removed the old ones and installed new ones.I never received a call on what they thought the problem was. I never received a quote on how much it would cost for parts and labor. Showed up to see if they found the problem and was hit with a $370 bill for work that wasn't approved by me. LUCKILY I had the funds to pay for the repair. But what if I didn't???Disappointed in how he went on and did work on my car before contacting me and discussing the problem and how much it would be to fix. Recommend that they make sure they contact the customer before doing work on their car. It's a recession and not everyone has the money upfront to pay for something they didn't authorize.
Follow up: After paying for an unauthorized repair and getting my car back, I was beyond disbelief when 2 days later, my car was doing the same thing as it was doing before. I returned to Cams to let them know, only to be confronted by a rude service owner. He was upset that I would dare come back. and question the unauthorized work they did on my car. I politely told him I would no longer be doing business there. Thought I found a reliable and honest mechanic. Lol. At least he gave me a refund for the work I didn't authorize. Stay clear of this place unless you are knowledgeable in car repair. He will tell you that you need a new engine when you just come in for an oil change.
