They have nothing to do with copart, you have to buy a copart membership for anything you do at their lot. Bidding with salvage reseller doesn't even show the bids for copart. And they have way less inventory!!! Don't buy!!

They want to hold on to your money as long as possible so you pay alot of fees. I sent proof of payment 3 days ago and now they say they didn't receive it when I have proof of them replying to the email attachment. They couldn't even tell me what to do with their power of attorney document. 1 person said I had to get an attorney to sign it. Another person said bring it to DMV. Then the last person told me to sign it and mail it in. I want my money back because I sent everything on time.

I love the dream. Find some unique old car I can fix up fairly easily. Different parts of North America have different varieties of reasonably priced old cars. You won't many Studebakers or Hudson's or Packards or anything pre-32' where I come from. I am trying to figure out how to transport a car across North America for a decent dollar. I will figure out a way.

Here's the deal: If you're buying a car from California, be prepared to get nickel-and- dimend. They force you to use their own shipping company, which charges double what reputable carriers would. It's a blatant rip-off. But that's not all. Even if you pay everything on time and have all your documents in order, they'll drag their feet on shipping your car. This way, you will be hit with extra storage fees – fees you wouldn't owe if they just did their job! It's a clear attempt to squeeze extra money out of you. Look, there are plenty of honest salvage resellers out there. Don't waste your time and money on Salvage Reseller. Take your business elsewhere and avoid the frustration. You'll thank yourself later. (I want to be clear that I wasn't using the free option. I had a paid yearly membership that I now deeply regret.)

Absolutely fantastic experience. I work in an intensely customer service industry, and appreciate good work with respect to communication and setting of expectations. I had a minor hiccup that was due not to salvage reseller, but to copart and they resolved it in short order completely to my satisfaction. As everyone knows, it's not necessarily about getting it right the first time, but getting it done right. How a company responds to something getting sideways is really telling of how they do business. Absolutely love these guys and will not hesitate to use them in the future.

Talked to customer service (Sandra) when I say nicest I mean nicest person I have ever met. Very knowledgeable and was egger to help with my issue right away. Had all my issues figured out and then some. Highly recommend to anyone. If I could give better star’s rating I would.

Highest fee's out there! You'll be paying OVER 10% of your winning bid to salvage resellers in fee's alone. Many other brokers charge a FLAT rate fee which works out better 99% of the time. Do yourself a favor and find a broker who charges a flat rate because Salvage Reseller is in the business of highway robbery.

Had a great experience completing my first auction with Salvage Resellers. I appreciated that each lot had a fee calculator right on the page, so I could keep in mind the true cost and watch my max bid. Once I won a lot, completing the transaction was super simple, and customer service was easy to get ahold of both by email and phone when I had questions. The refund of my security deposit was processed the next business day after I requested it via their site. I would happily use them again for an auction!
