I can’t say enough good things about Jason and Patrick at University Collision in Gainesville, not to mention Miss Patti behind the front desk. She's amazing! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make the entire repair process smooth and stress-free. Their communication was excellent — they kept me informed every step of the way, explained everything clearly, and made sure I understood what was being done. The quality of their work was outstanding. My vehicle looks absolutely perfect — like nothing ever happened! It’s rare to find a shop that delivers both top-notch craftsmanship and genuine customer care, but Jason and Patrick truly do. If you ever need collision repair, don’t think twice — go see these guys. They’re professional, honest, and clearly take pride in their work. I couldn’t be more impressed or more grateful for how well they took care of me and my car, and they back up their work 100%!!

Worst place ever took them 3 months to fix my car after hitting a stop sign at 15 mph I wouldn't recommend taking your vehicle up there unless you willing to wait a life time and a complete run around with them completely stay telling you 2 more weeks every 2 weeks FYI completely bs

One of the best places to take your car for repairs. My car looks just like it did after my accident. They are big on keeping you in the loop. The staff is always polite and quick to get back with you. Brittany Kline was amazing snd so easy to work with!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!

Too bad I took my Nissan to Caliber Collision.. The company I work for told me I made a mistake, and boy did I. Not here to complain, but 4 months later, we still don't have my son's car.. Should have worked with an Experienced Body shop.. Y'all have a wonderful Christmas

University Collision was recommended by the Gainesville Subaru dealership, and I'm so happy they were. I needed to have some deep scratches fixed after I made the problem worse using touch-up paint. UCC handled everything and were incredibly fair, professional, and prompt with phone call updates. They made it look like nothing had ever happened. Hope they are around for years to come, and will go back to them if I need more work!

I hit a deer a the beginning of January 2024. Took a month and a half to get my car repaired. Compressor goes out, returns to shop in June. After not hearing about an ordered compressor for my vehicle for a month after calling once a week, I’m finally told that a turbo was sent twice instead of the piece they needed and that is what is taking so long. Instead of telling me as it happened they kept it hidden til I asked questions. Finally they get the piece to fix my car. AC works fine but then the wheel skirt was damaged when working on my vehicle. It is now October 15 and I am still waiting for my replacement fix. They supposedly lost my file and couldn’t figure out what my car needed. This has been the most incompetent experience I’ve ever been a part of. I’ve wasted so much time and gas driving back and forth for this company not to be prepared for any issues I’ve had. Absolutely disappointing and all they can do is apologize and say sorry for the inconvenience. No professionalism and they offer a lifetime warranty because they can’t get it right the first time it seems.

I would recommend everyone to use University Collision Center. This was my first car accident and they walked me through the whole process. Special thanks to Jason, Patti and Patrick for always just being nice when i spoke to them esp with how busy they are. They kept me informed and made my car look like new.

I highly recommend if you need repairs or an estimate for your vehicle after an accident don't hesitate to call. I had the pleasure of speaking with Patti and I must say she is though, keeps you informed and has stunning personality. Our boys were in a terrible accident on Memorial Day and thank God they only had minor injuries however the van was totalled and we were leaving for vacation 3 days later. I explained that to Patti and she wowed me with excellent customer service. She let us know when they received the van and let me know what to expect next. I just knew I was in good hands. Thank you Patti, you're a gem.

University collision told me my vehicle would be ready in 30 days. They texted me a week before it was suppose to be done and said everything was good to go. The day came for it to be done and it was not complete. They said it will be done the following week. I was ok with it. They sent me a text 2 days before it was suppose to be done and said it was on schedule to be complete. Once again the day came to have it finished and it still wasn't complete. So here were are at 6 weeks instead of the 4 they told me it would take and my truck is still not complete. When I asked when it would be done, someone at the facility told me 3 days. When I called 3 days later they told me it would be another week. My insurance rental was used up and I had no vehicle to get to dialysis, because these people kept telling me it would be done and it wasn't. It ended up taking them over 60 days when they promised me it would take 30 days. I finally got my truck home and I noticed a piece of trim they forgot to install on my window. I took the truck back and told the owner who came out to look at it and he told me it probably flew off while I was driving and I know for a fact thats not what happened and they just never installed it. He lied and told me he would call me when a new one came in and they would put it on. It's been 6 months and I haven't heard from them and now it's going to cost me 300 dollars to get it replaced. I would never get my vehicle repaired at university collision. They are liars and tell you one thing and do another. Very poor business and the own takes no responsibility. They did refund me 200 dollars but by the time I paid my late rental fees and deductible I was at over 800 dollars. I've thought about filing a small claims to get reimbursed some of this money that they lied to me about since I still have the text messages they sent me, but I haven't as of this date.

I had a great experience at University Collision. When I had questions about the process the owner took the time to talk with me and make sure I felt great about the work that was being done. Patti in the front office, the adjuster (whose name escapes me), and Frank were all fantastic. The paint looks beautiful and I’m really happy to have my car back so quickly.

They seem to do quality work. But...and I mean BUT...there were several issues along the way. Permit me to elaborate: We took my wife's 2020 Mazda CX-5 to them upon the recommendation of our insurance company. The car had right-front end damage from a parking lot accident. The shop contacted us to bring the vehicle in on October 8th, which we promptly did. I don't recall if we were expressly told that the car would be ready the following week. But I can state unequivocally that we were given no indication regarding what was to come. In mid-November, I phoned and spoke with the owner and I asked why the repairs were taking six weeks, not one. He explained to me that they were waiting on a part - the front bumper cover. The delay was due to a shortage on the part of Mazda. I never received a good response when I asked why we were told to bring the vehicle in if the shop did not have the required parts. To his credit, the owner gave me the name and phone number of the parts distributor in Jacksonville. I phoned them and asked about the parts shortage. They, in turn, referred me to Mazda. In mid-November, I was finally able to initiate a "case" with Mazda. This really has nothing to do with the body shop. It was a Mazda issue. But why am I, the end customer, dealing with the manufacturer, not the shop? We finally got our repaired Mazda back on December 6th. Again, the finished product looks good. So, no complaints there. But I still can't understand why we were asked to bring the car in if the parts weren't in-house first. It wasn't some obscure hidden part; it was the front bumper cover - the largest component and the most-obvious cosmetic piece. And why was it up to ME to shake the trees to obtain the part. The kicker came when it was time to pick up the vehicle: The lady in the office, Patty (very nice, by the way - the best part of the entire experience) informed me that debit/credit cards are subject to a 3% surcharge. I can accept that; many businesses do this. I didn't want to pay the $15 fee. Then Patty told me that they do not accept personal checks. That was the kicker. After all of this aggravation, I had to drive into Gainesville to hit the ATM at Bank of America to obtain $500 cash to cover my deductible. That really left a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully, I won't need body work again any time soon. But if I do, I'll look for another shop.

They did excellent work on my front bumper my driver door and hood also added new lights and did wonderful paint job my car was in accident and they made it look new would go back again if needed and recommend to anyone else

Wow. Just wow. In a world where customer service is becoming exceedingly rare, UCC goes absolutely above and beyond to care for their customers. Patrick, Who was overseeing the repairs on my vehicle, was so kind and helpful, And it was clear he genuinely cared about doing Right by his customers. I got many updates about my car even when it was a complicated situation. He wouldn't rest until my repairs were resolved. I will recommend this collision shop every time. I can't say enough about this shop.

I recommend this business as a body shop for your vehicle to get serviced. I got rear ended and they fixed and replaced parts that was needed in a timely fashion. They also stood in communication with me on any updates that was currently happening. They made my car brand new again like nothing ever happened. Also my explaining to them how caring I am with my vehicle as a detailer they took that into great consideration and took care of my vehicle and made sure everything was safe and ok. I really appreciated that. I got my car in the same condition as I left it. Also I have to mention the staff is amazing very professional and respectful and understanding along with the owner and his family. I support businesses like this thank you again and keep doing amazing work.

I took my car in for some minor damage on the front (friend backed into me) and on the left rear (hubby ran over something). Both were minor damage but made me unhappy with the appearance. I received a very reasonable estimate for both. When I took my car in at the appointed time (Monday morning) I was informed it would be finished by Friday afternoon. I was very surprised they finished on Thursday morning and the actual price was lower than the original estimate. They did a BEAUTIFUL job on the repairs and my car looks brand new. When I got it back this morning, they had detailed it! What a nice touch. If I experience any future issues, I will be taking my vehicle to them. I HIGHLY recommend this business to anyone. I drive a Lexus RX450h. The work is superior!!!

University Collision Center was recommended to me by Tires Plus, and they repaired my pretensioner and buckle. Frank went above and beyond to help me and provided exceptional customer service. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly, kind, and helpful. The repair was a very good deal- $450 less than what the Ford dealership quoted me. I would definitely come here again to have my car fixed. I highly recommend them. Thank you, Frank!

Steve was exceptional to work with. He was honest, polite and extremely professional from the very first visit, including the preliminary estimate visit. He provided upfront and fair pricing, routine updates via text/telephone and unbeatable timely service! My front bumper replacement/paint job was completed much sooner than I could have imagined. He and his team even went above and beyond by washing and detailing the interior of my vehicle. Essentially, I received my car back looking like new. I wouldn't look anywhere else for future repairs and will be recommending them to anyone and everyone. They just don't make businesses like University Collision Center anymore.

I don’t think I’ve ever left a review for anything my entire life but this place deserves it. After being rear ended, I brought my car in to be repaired by these guys. Not only did the repair the trunk and make it look like new, but they went above and beyond by touching up another dent I had that had gotten quite rusty and fixed a broken exterior door handle essentially free of charge. They gave me updates on my car every couple of days, we’re timely, professional, and incredibly personable. Got my car back looking like new. 6 years ago University Collision put my Charger back together after a wreck. The job they did was phenomenal. Fast forward to this week- I caught my front bumper on a curb and popped it loose. Without a second thought I reached out to University Collision and they said bring it in. Not only did they get it fixed same day, Frank noticed my tire pressure warning was on and checked my tires and topped them off. I was so pleased that they still take such good care of their customers. They will continue to be who I go and I highly recommend them for their quality of work, pricing and customer care. I was involved in a deer accident on way to work from another city for the week. Worked with Frank, took the vehicle on the same day and received estimate. They even provided arrangements for rental car pickup. The repairs were scheduled to be done in 4 days, they got it done in 2. Early completion also saved me money with car rental. I had to request for a minor adjustment on the hood latch, Frank did it in 10 minutes on the same day requested. I am still totally satisfied with their service and work. So blessed that everything worked out so the vehicle was brought to this shop. Hang

I don't normally write reviews, but since I chose them because of their outstanding reviews I felt I was responsible to acknowledge what was well deserved. I had a very professional experience from beginning to end. They were courteous and efficient. They were very knowledgeable and dealt with my insurance company and had an estimate within hours of inspection. They are highly skilled when it comes to damage repair. I was hit by a deer & referred to University Collision by a police officer. Best decision I ever made. They were awesome, they kept me updated on my car. Steve was great, polite, & very friendly. The two ladies that work at the front counter are the most nicest women I think I have ever met. One of the ladies even helped me install my car seat into the rental car and into my car once it was fixed. Amazing staff amazing work. I hope I don’t see them again but if something does happen again I know who to go to I won’t even think twice about that.

Patrick and Frank, the owners of University Collision are dependable and trustworthy. They gave me two estimates for my car. One the most economical and the second one to restore in like "brand new" condition. Patrick recommended that the car was not worth spending a lot of money, since it is older. I was really impressed with his honesty. I would highly recommend this business, because when I picked up my car it looked like "brand new".
