Arriving in Gainesville for the football game, check engine light started flashing as we got off of I-75.
Jeep was sputtering as we pulled into Midas. Front desk team and techs quickly assessed the issue of faulty plugs and failed ignition coil.
The team at Midas had the parts in stock and got to work immediately. They said three hours to complete and got it done in two hours.

Carson and Avery was amazing . Super informative . And communicated very well . I would recommend Midas to every one I know . This is the one on archer road in Gainesville Florida . And the lure you over with pumpkin spice on their sign, nice hot coffee, cold water bottles and reasonable prices .

everyone here was incredibly kind and patient with me, but especially emily and avery :) once told i would have to leave my car with them in order to get my tires replaced, emily made sure my uber home was taken care of; avery was attentive and took care to call and check in with questions about my car. highly recommend!
Was in this shop the other day. The front desk workers are very nice and work with you to make sure you have a great experience. Was there when the person who wrote the last 1-star review was there. He did not get any work done and cussed the front desk worker out for just telling him the price. My personal experience with Emily was great and I highly recommend them for any work.

Blew a tire on 75 heading to Tallahassee on a Friday evening when I had a blowout. Everyone told me NO except these guys. Right at closing time I asked for help to get a new tire so I didn’t have to leave my car in the highway. This amazing staff stayed to satisfy another happy customer. Highly recommend when you think hope is lost! Great job team!!!!
Avery at Midas and other staff are amazing people. They understood my problem and resolved it professionally and under humanitarian grounds. I request them if they can dispose my old auto tire along with rim. Avery explained that he can only take tire out from the rim and after he did it he came to me and said we will take the rim as well. They are wonderful people and helped me when they was very busy. Would leave -5 stars if I could. Came in for a routine oil change; they erroneously informed me that my brake rotors and pads needed to be immediately replaced and handed me a quote for over $1k. I took the car to the dealership for a second opinion only to be informed that 1) the brakes were perfectly fine, and 2) Midas had not replaced the one-time use crush washer for the oil plug, which had caused the oil to leak immediately after the change and could have resulted in serious problems had the technician at the dealership not noticed this. It is quite possible they put the wrong oil in as well; the dealership changed it out for OEM right away. In light of midas’ apparent dishonest business practices and slapdash service on customers’ vehicles, I recommend you don’t touch this place with a 39 1/2 foot pole.
The staff on site was professional and courteous. I requested an oil change and they were able to do so and provide a tire rotation. They asked permission to perform a routine inspection without providing further services unless I was notified first. They were accurate with time frames of services, provided a problem list as well as prices. No pressure from their end which I do appreciate.
This new management at this establishment is amazing. Chris The manager has been very nice and respectful to me, and my family, and has helped me and my family out when our cars were broke down. I highly recommend taking my vehicles here. I will bring my vehicle here every single time
The team delivered outstanding customer service and did an excellent job repairing the suspension on my vehicle. Unlike another shop (Tire Kingdom) that quoted me for unnecessary repairs, they clearly showed me what actually needed to be replaced. They provided a fair quote, arranged transportation, and completed the work in a timely manner. Chris & Evan’s customer service at the front desk was top tier. The entire process was smooth and hassle-free. I’ll definitely be a returning customer
Absolutely amazing service! They were extremely fast and you could tell they definitely know what they are talking about. I wish the people who manage this Midas were managing a whole lot more for us! Shout out to Manny who was very professional and kept everything smooth and organized. I’m took my son’s car in for an oil change. I rode with him and the car was just fine. After waiting for over an hour, they put in a different oil than I asked for and then right after leaving, his car is now running bad. So I now have to take his car to someone to fix the problem. It drove smooth on the way there but leaving, it feels like it’s about to shut off. I do not recommend
I had a great experience with Chris and Manny at Midas yesterday. I had an unexpected maintenance need get discovered while getting an alignment, and the staff helped me feel comfortable and were very transparent, even taking me into the shop to show me first-hand what was going on with my truck. As someone who has had both great and terrible shop experiences in the past, I can confidently recommend this shop to anyone in Gainesville needing work on their vehicle.
Back in December I had brought my car in for an oil change and without any warning beforehand, supposedly my car would not start up after they were finished. It rubbed me the wrong way as I’ve had shops tell me things are wrong when they were not. After getting a run around the manager at the time told me he would take care of my next oil change. Came in today (06/13) and the new manager Chris, (who knew nothing about the situation), honored my free oil change, replaced my engine air filter, and walked me through my car details in a respectful and professional manner! On top of that, he took care of my husbands car brakes with a discount. Very unexpected but EXTREMELY thankful that he took time out to recognize our needs and work with us without hesitation. He was also very personal as well which made me feel 100x more comfortable as we talked about our families. Big shout out to him and of course the other workers that helped us today in a respectful and patient manner. Kudos! We will be back… hopefully not soon lol.
Had an unexpected car emergency on our way down to south Florida, and stopped in to see if we could get help. The manager Chris immediately greeted us, took the vehicle back for repairs, and had us back on the road in less than 30 minutes. Thank you for your assistance and great service!
I'm in town for business and my vehicle began severely overheating. Took it in to the shop at 8:30am. They diagnosed and repaired it by noon. They were extremely courteous, even taking me out to see the issue because it was a rare problem. Would definitely return if I'm in town again needing service.
I feel this location was dishonest with pricing and did not do a very good job. I took my truck in for a Exhaust Repair. Which ended up just being that they welded the pipe back together that took 10mins. Here is where the dishonesty comes in. I was told it would take 1.5 hours of labor to fix my exhaust and the bill would be over $400.00. Which at first I was like ok because I did not know any better and I thought for 1.5 hours that was just the cost. Now on to the job when they welded the pipe they did not align it so, it is still sticking out compared to my other side. Will upload pictures. In other words I got charged $411.00 for 10mins of poor work. I of course said something about the labor time and they sorry nothing we can do about. I called the 1800 number and all they do is put in a report. No help their either. Be careful of what they charge at this location and do some research on labor time before getting the work done. I learned my lesson the hard way.
