Continental Imports, and their customer service, is beyond exceptional. I've used them twice now for urgent repairs (transmission + AC) and they went above and beyond in every aspect. I recently took my Audi into Continental Imports of Gainesville for some brake work and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The team was super friendly and easy to talk to—Heidi explained exactly what needed to be done without any pressure or upselling. She even arranged for me to get to work on time!

I have been getting both of my cars regularly serviced with Darren and Heidi’s team at Continental Imports for the last few years. I have been incredibly happy with the quality of work and communication. They work quickly while being both thorough and practical. They are always transparent and open with estimation of cost and length of repairs. They have also been very helpful and responsive in times of more urgent repair needs (flat tire, dead battery). I am thrilled to have a reliable and trustworthy shop in town to take my cars for many years to come.
We recently purchased a 2024 VW Tiguan that only came with one key fob. Seeing on the Continental Imports website that they are the only non-dealer authorized to get and program VW keys, I got a price quote from them. Checking with two area VW dealerships, they were not only slow to respond, but more expensive. I contacted Continental, placed the order, and they promptly scheduled the work of programming the keys and car, the day after the key fob arrived. Heidi, Gina, and their team were very welcoming and attentive the morning of the appointment, and had an extremely clean and comfortable customer waiting area. Observing the activity that morning, it was very apparent of their customer service focus. On top of a relatively small job like this, it also included a complimentary car wash. I'm glad we found them and look forward to using them for our service needs.

Awesome shop that has made a world of difference from me. It's taken me years to find a service team that really does the work to find out what's going on with a car and can get the repairs done. I had to have my truck towed here when my transmission gave out on my 2019 chevy Silverado. Thankfully covered under my extended warranty and this shop did an amazing job not only with the new transmission but giving the truck a thorough inspection free of charge to see if there was anything else due to be replaced under the warranty. Gina took over communications with me from the moment they started working on the truck and she was very insightful as to what was going on and guiding decisions based on my financial constraints. Over all very happy with this shop and just wish I lived closer to have this be my main choice for automotive work (currently living in the Tampa area). Truck runs like new now!

i’m updating it because, after dropping my car off to them for the fourth time in 2 months, with one of those trips being due to them failing to put coolant in my car properly, and spending exactly $5,671.59 with this company, i am officially done.
two weeks after i paid over $800 for a new glow plug and module, i brought my car back with the exact same issue. i was told that actually, it’s not the same issue, it’s my turbocharger. upon being met with the $4661 price, my very first reply was to ask for the itemized estimate, because i wanted to know what i was paying for the part, how many hours of labor i was paying for, and what the labor rate was. gina paxton did not comply, and instead explained that they charge things as a “complete repair.” really? you expect someone to give you another $4k+ and when they ask to know what exactly they’e paying for, your response was anything other than “yes ma’am, let me print that out for you”??
conveniently, once my wallet and her commission was walking out the door, she backtracked and offered to get the itemized estimate for me. by that point, it was clear to me that there was no care for me as the customer, only desperation once my money was no longer going to them.
i’m weary now of how bad i’ve gotten overcharged by them, especially after getting quoted $1547.89 for a valve cover replacement, which was promptly fixed by tires plus for less than $800, and for being quoted $3294 for excessive suspension work, which upon a second opinion, is not something that my car needs at all.
i think since the old owner passed away, and their paycheck stopped coming from a set amount and instead started coming from commission, they have gotten greedy and saw a young person with lots of money and decided to take full advantage the situation.
i will no longer recommend continental imports.

Continental Imports has taken amazing care of my father's car since we were referred to them directly from a local Jaguar dealer - which to me, says a lot about them by itself. They were highly recommended for their knowledge and capability and after working with them I definitely understand why!
I cannot speak too highly of the service I received from Continental imports in Gainsville. Beyond the technical knowledge and skill of their diagnosis and work, their genuine care for people is incomparable to all others. On our way back to West Tennessee from Jupiter, Fl., a 900 mile trip, the power steering pump on our 2005 Saab began to break down. By the time we reached Ocala, it was critical, metal on metal. We sought mechanical help there but found no one willing to even look at it for two weeks. Searching the internet further north, we called Continental Imports in Gainsville and spoke with Heidi sharing with her our dire straights. Heidi said if we could make it to Gainsville, they would help us. By the time we reached Continental, the pump completely failed as they pushed it into the shop. It was late afternoon Thursday. Heidi ordered the parts by overnight, but the shipment failed to arrive Friday. Stranded in Gainsville for the weekend, Continental supplied us a loaner. Heidi and the ladies actually provided us a list of places of interest and events around Gainsville to occupy our unplanned stay for the weekend. Monday, the mechanic worked through his lunch hour on Monday to get us back on the road to West Tennessee, another 700 miles. I am an eighty year old retired Naval officer who has traveled much of the world; Heidi and the folk at Continental are the absolute best. Southern hospitality at its finest.

Gina & Continental Imports provided top notch service for an ongoing issue with my vehicle. They acknowledged my frustrations and made accommodations for me to have a rental car until they could provide a loaner for the entire time my vehicle was being serviced! I can't recommend them enough!!
RJ did a very good job of alerting me to an oil leak problem that could result in significant repair costs in the future. Repairing it now was somewhat painful cost wise, future damage would probably resulted in increased costs. I appreciated his and the mechanic who did the work explaining all that needed to be done.

was completed in 24 hours. I was given a loaner car to use to return home and back the next day. A very nice touch! A nice loaner as well! I’ll be returning when service to our Benz is required. Nice folks all the way around and quality service. I felt appreciated for my business.
We took our Mazda 3 here, with a warranty claim. They took care of everything, kept us up to date, helped take care of the rental and everything. They went above and beyond what they needed, found other issues that we didn't know about and had them covered under our warranty.
Mind you I work on my own truck and noticed some issues with the car they found the cause.
I will go back to them again.

After saying goodbye to my 2007 manual Jeep Patriot, I was gifted an older Audi Q7 that had been poorly cared for during the last 5 years, and then sat unused for about a year after being rescued by my brother-in-law. Not only did it need new tires and brakes, the interior had been equally as neglected and the old coins gummed to the center console (with who knows what) spoke volumes. My job requires me to drive a lot and my passengers are usually a combination of kids and dogs, so for the past 10 years, “utilitarian” was really the only word I used when describing my car.
Being given a car like the Audi was like giving a coal miner a fine white tuxedo. Despite the grimy interior, it was nicer and more high tech than anything I had ever had before. This car had more bells and whistles than any car I’d ever sat in, much less owned. I wanted to make sure it was squared away so I looked for a place that specialized in cars like this, and after a quick google, I found Continental Imports. It had almost 900 reviews and was rated 4.8 out of 5, so I gave them a call. Jason Praet was the person I first spoke with and instantly I knew I made the right choice.
Jason and the team at Continental Imports completely blew me away. Listen, this car was free, and it showed. With all the buttons and doodads hidden under the grime, it was like having a dirty spaceship that I had no idea how to fly. Once the car was squared away with tires, brakes, and all the updates and tweaks to the system had been done, I asked about getting it cleaned. When I picked that car up….you would have thought it was straight from the factory! IT WAS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Jason even sat with me and showed me how to USE the crazy amount of gizmos and advised me on which owners manual to buy so I could learn more on my own.
I don’t know how to put this all into words but I have never had such an excellent experience in any industry! The skills and knowledge of the technicians, the communication with Jason about the repairs and the timeline, and the ABSOLUTE transformation the detailing team performed…there is a REASON they have such high ratings and reviews! I am not a fancy lady, and though I was GRATEFUL for the car, I was terrified at the prospect of maintaining something so high end. Not anymore! I know that taking my car to Continental Imports means that it will be handled with skill and care, and that I will be treated like family, because that is the center of their business model.
When I went to pick up my car, my father asked me to drop off my mother’s. Continental Imports is now the only place we will take our cars because the way they do business is the RIGHT way to do business.
Wonderful service department. Had my Audi Q7 in for major work and Gina kept me up to date on the progress the whole time. My car also had a weird on and off again vibration sound in the dash and the service technician, Tommy, was very persistent in finding where it was and fixing it. I recommend Continental Imports 100%!
By far the best shop I've visited and got service from. The Courtesy of the staff at the front desk to the Professionalism of the techs, would give them ten stars if I could. Went there all the way from Tampa 2h drive to get an APR stage 1 tune for my wife's VW, after going to two tune shops locally and failed to flash it. So, I gave this shop an opportunity.Spoke with RJ, extremely professional and knowledgeable, fine gentlemen to work with, he got it done and the car feels Awesome!! Anything you need done with your import or domestic car I highly recommend this company and definitely recommend RJ as your tech.

My BMW hood emblem fell off and the next day I decided to call my dealership to see if they can replace it. I was given an estimate of RIDICULOUS $250 dollars for replacing the emblem. So I decided to check with Continental Imports if they have an emblem available and planned on replacing it myself (). Not only they found the emblem in stock but they also offered to replace it at no charge and had everything done in less than 30 minutes!!! I only paid for the emblem and as always had a great experience. I’ve been servicing my 2019 BMW with them for approximately a year - THEY ARE AMAZING! Professional, understanding and always ready to help! Would give 100 stars if I could.
