I had a very pleasant experience through the entire process. The convertible top on my 280 SLK stopped working due to a hydraulic fluid leak. Options were offered for repair, plus a new battery was installed. The entire time Gina gave me updates and kept me in the loop. Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable. Awful service experience, my car had to be towed 35 minutes after leaving the shop. I paid 82% more over the quote they gave me, and my car was worst going out than it was when I brought it in.
Gina and the mechanics have gone above and beyond my expectations!! If I could give more stars I would. Gina's knowledge of how the carvana warranty system works not only fixed the leading issue on the car that was bought less then a week ago from carvana, but also discovered a whole laundry list of other problems. Gina helped save me thousands of dollars in future repairs to a car that should not have had those problems. (I surely believe the "150 point" inspection was gundecked myself, but that's my opinion) I would highly recommend this repair shop!!
I have had really great experiences getting both normal maintenance and repairs done at Continental Imports. Gina is amazing to work with and always explains what repairs we should prioritize. They have been able to work with me on price and I often choose to get multiple things done at one time. They've been great at respecting my budget and working within that. My car is 10 years old now and it's really important to me to understand what I should be investing in to keep it running. They get work done quickly, and always give my car back clean and perfect.

Originally, I sent a one star review. I had a vehicle towed in and we couldn't reach an agreement on the price for a brake job. Almost had the vehicle towed out until I spoke with them again. We finally reached an agreement and they took really good care of my car. They gave me a shuttle service and complementary car wash, which I definitely appreciate. Sometimes business is not always smooth, but actions tend to speak louder than words. Gave these guys a second chance and they came through. Respect.
The team at Continental Imports is truly second to none. I have never encountered a repair shop more dedicated to customer care and experience. I needed major work done on my 2019 Kia Sorento—including a transmission replacement—and they handled everything with ease. They even worked directly with my warranty provider (MaxCare from CarMax) to ensure coverage. When they discovered additional issues related to my vehicle’s mileage (such as spark plugs, coil packs, and a leaky axle), they coordinated with the warranty company again, keeping my out-the-door price as low as possible to fit my budget.
My service advisor, Gina, was a pleasure to work with. She kept me informed throughout the entire process, updating me on inspector visits, parts arrivals, repair progress, and the final test drive. I always knew exactly what was happening with my vehicle.
Their hours are very accommodating (open early and until 6 p.m.), making it easy to drop off or pick up your car before or after work. The shuttle service was also very convenient, providing rides as needed.

Far better work than the dealerships in town, and considerably less expensive. Jason P is a man of integrity and he's always gone above and beyond with every single interaction we've had. Over the years I have entrusted Jason, and the team at Continental Imports with my Mercedes cars (Sprinter, Metris, Several C class, an AMG) as well as my 3 Hellcats, a couple of Subarus ect... Their detailing shop is peerless in Gainesville. I have never been disappointed in all the dealings I've had with them over the years.

I’ve driven old Jaguars for years, first a 2004 for 12 years, and then a 2002 until present. (I know - I can’t help myself.) You can imagine how hard it is to find parts for a car that are no longer made, or have experienced enough technicians to repair them. My “old” excellent mechanic just shook his head when I bought the ‘04 and said I’d have to take it to the Jag dealer. I picked Continental instead and am so glad I did. Now I won’t take my car anywhere else because of their attention to detail, excellent service and great customer care. They really do go the extra mile for their customers, and I can’t recommend them enough.
I was very pleased with everything that went along with my service to my car, especially the communication and customer service I was provided. Gina was my service Advisor and she was a great help and was very sweet. My car drives like new and feels even better. Along with the complementary car wash?! This was a great experience. From the very start, the place has an extremely friendly, family-oriented feel. RJ at the front made scheduling the appointment easy, and the staff in the waiting area were welcoming and professional. From the beginning, they worked with me to make everything as convenient as possible—handling insurance, securing a rental car, and taking the stress out of the process. In a time when it often feels like real customer service is dead, Continental was a breath of fresh air.
I brought in a recently purchased Honda CR-V that was still under a limited warranty for a small audio system issue. As part of the visit, they performed a complimentary mechanical inspection. My mechanic, Alex, found many issues with the vehicle that were not reported in the seller’s so-called 200-point inspection. His meticulous inspection of the vehicle saved me thousands of dollars and countless “nickel-and-dime” headaches down the road.
What really stood out was the communication. Alex really took the time to explain each issue clearly, what it meant for the vehicle long-term, and even showed me the actual areas needing attention (then later repaired) That level of transparency and patience is rare.

I had the best experience at Continental Imports. Gina was incredibly helpful and stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process. My son lives in Jacksonville, and while he was visiting, i noticed a noise coming from what sounded like the tire. They were able to get us an appointment that same afternoon, and Gina called the next morning with a full breakdown of what they found and what needed to be done to get him safely back on the road. We will definitely be going back whenever major repairs are needed. Highly recommended!

Continental Imports is AMAZING and has been nothing short of a Godsend since I decided to switch to German cars. I’ve been bringing my 2019 Audi SQ5 & 2009 ML550 to them for about two years now, and these guys have been absolute legends! I'm going to focus on the Audi right now. They've tackled everything from my motor mounts, 30,000 miles service maintenance to water pump issues, oil filter gasket leaks, front control arms and struts. Most recently, at just 37,000 miles, it seems that the engine has decided to peace out. While this is definitely a nightmare situation for me, the team at Continental Imports stepped up without hesitation. They got on the phone with my extended warranty provider, and even coordinated with Audi’s own extended warranty. And the cherry on top? They personally hauled my car over to the Audi dealership to get the repairs moving. It's so rare to find a shop that cares this much about both the car and the customer. I totally trust them with my vehicles, and I’m beyond grateful for their honesty, professionalism, and commitment to quality work. If your European car is acting up and you don’t want to get robbed blind at a "stealership" or deal with a shady mechanic, take it to Continental. I can’t recommend them enough! Alex was absolutely a pleasure to work with. He went thru ALL (too many to list) issues with my 2008 MB GL550. The car only has 81,000 miles and has been a great car, so I decided to do everything needed. Continental was super quick and she drives like a brand new vehicle. Figured the $$$ spent was much better than replacing for $150,000 new one.

It’s becoming more difficult to find good people that really care about the quality of work and building a trusting relationship with their customers. Fortunately, when I needed help the most, Continental Imports of Gainesville proved those people still exist. My 2012 L322 Range Rover Supercharged experienced the notorious timing guide failure and jumped time resulting in catastrophic engine failure. Luckily I kept a warranty through CarShield and Continental worked with them to source an engine. Continental went above and beyond to not only thoroughly inspect the new engine with a good teardown while replacing all major seals and gaskets, but also worked with me to ensure modern upgraded timing guides, chains, and tensioners were installed on the replacement engine. It’s been a few months since the job was completed and my Rover is running like new. Alex, Heidi, Michael, and the wizards working magic in the bays, I’m grateful for you all and look forward to bringing my vehicles to your team. We also had front control arms, engine coolant pump, and engine coolant pipes replaced during the engine job.
What can I say about the level of service and communication provided? Top notch! Darren reached out seeing the bad experience I had at another shop and wanted to see if they could help. My car is driving better than ever, all warning lights have been fixed, worked with my warranty company and got me squared away!
