I will say Sam’s Club has Discount Tire beat purely on price. But Sam’s club’s customer service in the tire department is extremely lackluster and slow. It’s very difficult to get in and get a tire rotation. The customer service at discount tire has always been excellent for me at every location I’ve been to, but especially this Gainesville location. They’re also great on warranty coverage I’ve had to use in the past. I’ll only go to discount tire going forward.
Alberto was extremely friendly and helpful with an already busy docket. My Honda was showing a low pressure tires, during a trip from Orlando to Knoxville. He determined that the air pressure was low on all tires because if the cold weather. We were in and out and what could have been a half a day solution. Thank you Alberto! Awesome customer service. everyone was extremely helpful. Alberto (the assistant manager) was very informative and gave me the best price for my tires, he kept me updated throughout the process and informed me of the free alignment check which i did end up needing. i would definitely recommend stopping in if you need new tires!

I ordered a set of tires and when i arrived they told me that one of the tires came with a big flaw so they automatically upgraded me to a better set of tires at no cost.

Got me in quick without an appointment. Took care of me after the difficult time I had earlier in the morning from a different location not helping me with my tires. They were finished in 35 minutes and easy, kind service. Great customer service!! Thank you for getting me back on the road so quick!!

We have dealt with Discount Tire for many years now. Each time the experience is a good one. Knowledgeable associates about the products, answers any questions, love the air in the tires on pull up.
Very professional. Clean and very organized. The online appt is easy to use. Walk ins are graciously accommodated. I have used Discount Tire for many years and trust that I will be valued as a customer.
Relentless questioning over and over by multiple people about same thing. Trying to upsell on things that are not even there.( tires are no longer made but you want to sell warranty) and more. Thanks for upsetting my wife so much with things that don't matter. Also for making her vehicle unsafe at about 8psi over recommended. Acting like women are ignorant is not a good business practice. I've been a customer here before some of you even had jobs. People go elsewhere.
All in all this place is super professional and welcoming. Everyone is super sweet and very accommodating. Carter in specific was very attentive and super understanding of my situation. Recommended me an option that I ended up taking. Super respectful, and honest. As a women that came in alone to a predominantly male environment I never felt uncomfortable or taken advantage of. Carter explained everything to me and answered all my questions. But overall, I’d definitely recommend anyone to come here and get serviced.
If you’re having any problems with your tires, go here! My daughter had an issue with her car and was able to solve it in no time. She was in and out of the shop in the span of 2 hours and said they were super honest people. I’m glad they didn’t try to pull a “fast one” on her and treated her well. She highly recommended Jose and Floyd but the whole team is sure to get you right!

I really cannot say enough good things about this place. I have had many vehicles serviced here both for new tires and tire repairs. I honestly don't know how their prices compare because I don't shop around, I go straight here every time. The service is always fast and on time, and they do a great job.
Been here 3x for tires on 2 cars, 30 year old. Volvo and 8 year old Prius. Was recommended by my mechanic and have not been disappointed. Prompt friendly service including reinflating tires before long trips. While waiting, it seemed that all the other customers were impressed and happy with their service as well.
Traveling from out of state. New tire kept tripping pressure sensor. Took vehicle in, Floyd took care of us. Replaced all the valve stems, which the other tire shop had not taken care of for us. Great service and without an appointment. We will definitely look for Discount Tire when we have future tire needs.

I was so impressed with my first visit, I knew I’d be back again. Alex & Sam and the entire staff went above & beyond on a busy 95° holiday weekend no less. Every parking spot was full and they were getting it done. I ordered my tires on the website and made an appointment. Told them we were in no rush & went next door for lunch. We were half way though our meal and got a text 30 minutes later that our car was ready. Amazing experience for a tire store.
I just left this tire shop and it was the most phenomenal experience I’ve ever had in my life when it comes to automotive. I approached the sales desk, even though they were extremely busy this amazing man named Floyd did not make me wait in line and he didn’t try to ask me 1000 questions either. Floyd was made aware of my issue and concern and he walked right from the back of his counter and register to walk outside with me where he graciously inspected and made sure that not just the tire that I was concerned about was good, but that all four tires were ready for me to get on the interstate. Not only was it 100° outside almost on a Saturday, but I just can’t say enough about Floyd and how much he made my day and ask for nothing in return. I’m so proud that a store like this is in Gainesville and that somebody like Floyd Is representing our town! Go Gators!
This is by far the best experience I have had with a tire shop (and I’ve unfortunately had more than I’d like to admit ) . The team was exceptional. I ran over a large object (blew a tire and cracked my wheel) and did not have a lug nut key for my wheels to get my tire off and my spare on the vehicle . I showed up to this location shortly after they opened Sam was extremely helpful in getting us a key for my lug nuts without hesitation. Once I was able to get my car to the shop Alex was able to get my wheels and tires ordered and gave me updates on my delivery time . Even after there was a miscommunication with the delivery driver , Alex took accountability and was apologetic and assured me that I would be on the road before the end of the day . He was able to get everything straightened out with the delivery and continued to give me updates throughout the day. Though I was there all day, I have to say it was not a displeasure to wait my turn with the customer care provided . Floyd visibly kept the lobby and shop running smoothly , Helping customers as needed and ensuring everyone was doing as they were supposed to with the amount of volume that moved through the store throughout the day (to say they were busy would be an understatement ) ! Very impressive! Great work guys , keep it up and I will be back, and will ONLY recommend you guys to anyone that needs tire services !
My daughter brought her Cadillac suv in due to a road hazard accident early this morning. After getting her off the side of the road and having her bring it bring it to the 34st discount tire location this morning, They inspected the vehicle and found that the wheel and tire was obviously destroyed. After being given options for new wheels (original wheels discontinued), the team expedited getting replacement wheels from another location, and had ALL wheels and the destroyed tire replaced same day (along with checking the alignment) Floyd, Alex, and the team stepped up to expedite this emergency repair. Truly EXCEPTIONAL customer service here. IMPRESSIVE Thank you so much!
I took my car here to have them check one of my tires that had a slow leak and was only holding air for 3-4 days at a time before going low. The technician assessed it and told me there was nothing wrong because it was holding at 60 psi underwater and sent me on my way very dismissively. A few days later the tire light was back on. I took my car to another discount tire location and they immediately located an intact 1.5 inch screw that had punctured in the middle of the tread in an easily visible location and quickly removed it and repaired the tire. I’m not one to leave bad reviews but missing something this obvious is just ridiculous and ultimately dangerous.
Top notch service - very surprising for what I'm used to in Gainesville. Sam was super professional through out my tire and rim buying process for my Ram truck and everyone else I dealt with was extremely polite. Everything looks great. I might suggest some shades or tinting on the windows as the waiting room was about 80 degrees and it isn't even June yet.
The service was amazing. Nicholas was extremely helpful. He was very detailed. He went above and beyond explaining what was going on with my tires and what needed to be done and he wasn't trying to force an expensive tire on me like some places. I would have to say he is the perfect example of what customer Service is supposed to be about. I will definitely be coming back again. This establishment is a lifesaver. After visiting seven different shops that no one had the wheel lock key for my tires, this was the place that helped me move forward with my life.. thank God everything lead to coming here.
Key word: Wheel Lock Key. You just can’t buy it at most Auto Parts stores but they even gave me a complementary wheel key for my tires.

These guys are amazing! We blew a tire on our travel trailer on our way south on 75 for vacation. AAA took 3 hours to mount our spare & get us back on the road, but 2 more tires looked sketchy, so we needed tires, but needed to get to our campground ASAP (hooking up in the dark is miserable), and Discount Tires was supposed to close 10 minutes before we could get there... Kyle reassured us that the shop would be open & ready for us when we got there. It felt like we had our own pit crew. We pulled up to 6 crew with 4 jacks and 5 tires on deck. They jacked the whole camper up, got all the tires off, swapped them out, remounted them, checked the tire pressure on our truck "just to be sure", and had us on our way fast. It was impressive to see how well the crew communicated & worked together and around the equipment. High praise for every single employee there, they saved our vacation!
