First time we used this body shop. We brought in our 2000 Toyota Tundra , that had extensive rust around the windshield area. They did an excellent job on the repair. They also kept us informed on the process with emails and photos. We will be using them again and would highly recommend!

My 22 Sorento was hit on the passenger side. Both doors were caved in. The expert technicians at Dave Barbers repaired the doors. The paint looks like factory fresh. These are awesome folks to work with. I highly recommend their services.
We recently had a minor accident that wasn't our fault. Our car is only 14 months old. The other company provided a very low-ball quote to repair the bumper, grill, headlight and who knows what else might be wrong because the appraiser did the quote based on only pictures.
I spoke with Erica in the morning the other day, who was a pleasure to speak with. We called back to make sure she received the information that was emailed. At that time, we actually spoke to Mr. Dave Barber's, who confirmed the info was received. He was very knowledgeable and informative. He was concerned that we were driving with the bumper flopping around, so he told us to come by to see if they could clip it back in temporarily until we could get it fixed. Unfortunately it couldn't be clipped so they used duct tape! He assured us that they deal with difficult insurance companies all the time and usually have to file supplemental claims so that the proper repairs can be made. They are a family owned business and have been around since 1965. They also told us that they can assist in coordinating a car rental while the car is in their shop getting repaired.
We are happy that we found them and look forward to getting the car repaired.
Dave Barber's is truly wonderful. The staff and owner are knowledgable, reasonable, and kind. I have taken my car to them on three separate occasions for an insurance claim accident damage repair/painting, parts replacements, and to fix a windshield leak (which they did not even charge me for). Each time they have been so accommodating, communicative, timely, and have gone above and beyond with their work. Their generosity and reliability is unmatched and I am so appreciative of them. I cannot recommend them enough!

I popped my bumper off on a curb and Mercedes wanted to charge me $3k for a new bumper because “I needed a new bumper” and “it couldn’t be put back on”.
Dave reattached the bumper for $150. Erica, at the front desk, is extremely hospitable and accommodating. Very honest. I would recommend to anyone.
Brought in my car after a road hazard took off my rear tire fender. They got the part in a week. Most impressively, when I came in for the repair, I was in and out of the shop in less than 15 mins. Price was very fair.

They got my car back right like nothing even happened. The only thing I didn’t like was my car was new and there was mark’s damage by the passenger vent in the back . They say they was going to fix it but never did. I just learned to live with it because no one seat in the back seat and for that matter I am the only one that rides in it . They do great work and still will take my car there, I upgraded my property watch person
I was referred to Dave Barber's by a local well-reviewed mechanic, for a loose bumper on the front of my car.
I have a long drive coming up soon and was concerned that my bumper would be a safety hazard. Dave Barber's not only fixed it quickly and competently, they did it at no charge! Remarkable customer service. They have a new lifetime customer.

Had a to replace a front lower grille on my car, and Dave Barbers had it done within a day! Super fast and VERY affordable. They don’t overcharge at all. Customer service is also excellent. I will probably only go here for body work in the future. Very trustworthy.
I just got home from Dave's to go straight to my laptop and write this review. I feel so lucky and grateful to had stumbled across Dave's shop today. Everyone was so kind, understanding, and willing to do anything they could to GENUINELY help! As a college student, being far from home, any sort of car trouble is such an intense stressor. I came in desperate for help to have anyone fix my car enough to get home. Dave didn't charge me for anything. I don't have enough words to describe how great Dave Barber's Paint and Body truly is. I can not thank them enough and I highly recommend everyone to go here for any car repair needs!
A friend recommended that I go to Dave Barbers for some body work that I needed done, and overall I had a great experience. The front desk folks who helped schedule and give an estimate were very kind and accommodating. Even though it was a small job, they made sure I was taken care of promptly. Upon picking up my truck, I was surprised as they charged less than the original estimate quoted, and both the front desk and the body shop workers went over the work done with me to make sure I was 100% pleased with it. These folks clearly take pride in their work and are great people. I received great service with a smile. Would definitely recommend coming here, its a great local business to support.
Amazing business! Am I living in the 50's and business folks are actually helpful, friendly, competent and fair? Must be. I had minor collision damage to my older SUV but it had major effect, in that I could not fully close the hatch, because one corner was slightly bent, & to top it all, the car would not lock without hatch fully closed. I did not want to buy a hatch, so I stopped by Dave's to see if they could do anything. I fully expected to be told I had to buy a new rear end for the car, and have it painted, etc. etc. Nope, two super friendly employees looked at it, talked it over and then took a few minutes of their time to bang out the bent portion enough to close the hatch and now it works fine. And no charge! I am having the very best day ever!! Thanks, Dave Barber's!
Went in for a scratch and I was out within 15 minutes. The women at the front desk were patient with my questions and gave me an accurate waiting time to which I was serviced as soon as possible. Most shops will charge a costly fine just to look at the damage, but they did it for free! They provide estimates over the phone and work with you as best as they can. If you need your car repaired in gainesville, this is the place to go!
I was in a car accident and this is where my car was towed. They called me first thing the next morning and walked me through everything. They worked with my insurance so I didn’t have the headache of doing it and made sure the parts I received were the best. A huge advocate for us!!! Erica called and kept me updated the whole time, so I knew exactly what was happening and had no stress. When I picked up the car it looked better than when I bought it! You couldn’t tell anything happened. They walked me through how to take care of the new paint and even cleaned my car! I was reassured that if I had any questions or concerns to call or come by right away. They even put air in the tires of the car I was borrowing. I truly can’t say enough good things!

I used Dave Barber's about four years ago to repair damage on the side of my car. They do magnificent work. My car was perfect when I picked it up. Recently I returned to repair a deep scratched area on my new car. I brought touch up paint with me and they fixed the scratch with just the touch up paint. The car's finish is perfect! Everyone who works at Dave Barbers is very professional and their customer service is superb. I highly recommend them.

The service staff at Dave Barber’s was friendly from the moment Erica answered the phone and continued to be once I arrived for a quote. As soon as I arrived they greeted me and we immediately went out to view the damage to my vehicle. You can tell that they really value your time. Upon looking at the damage I was given my options on what could be done, but I wasn’t pressured to replace the bumper unnecessarily unless that was the route I wanted to take. Rachel even helped me find the information on my vehicle’s paint code so that I could take a cheaper alternative if I needed to. I will come back next time I need service, and I will recommend. I am so impressed with Dave Barber's. Really beautiful work, completed on time, and my car was clean and vacuumed when I picked it up. (It was sure not so clean when I left it with them!) The front office staff were courteous, friendly, professional, honest, and clearly have a good eye for detail and know their business well. There's no b.s. here - just great bodywork at a reasonable price. This is where I will be taking my car from now on.
