For someone who has high standards and only gives one chance for mechanics and auto shops, I can safely say I have gone back to AutoER a few times and will continue to do so. These people treat a vehicle like a nurse does their patient. They up front and honest, but not trying to steal your money. It seems like they genuinely care about getting your vehicle fixed and making sure it’s safe to be on the road over making more money. I appreciate the work they do.
I began using Auto ER a year ago since the tire shop recommended their laser alignment. I loved the customer car especially for free alignment checks for 12 months. Recently Auto ER flushed break fluid, performed a 3 part fuel induction and replaced the battery. My car runs like a new car again. I have an extended warranty and they report all required inspections and scheduled service. I prefer Auto ER to dealerships service.
I’ve been here multiple times now, for an Evap System leak, sensor issues, and body work for my passenger door. Not only did they fix each issue super quickly, the service was amazing, genuinely some of the kindest people. Pricing is also very reasonable. You can tell they care about you, your car, safety, and experience. Jesse was extremely helpful with the body repair work. Highly recommend, will definitely keep coming back!!
The only place to take your car for service! Great people. The building itself is comfortable for an all day wait, like I did. The manager was amazing, dealing with cars and caring for customers in an informed and relaxed manner. Even drinks and snacks while waiting ! It felt like a high end dealer without the high bill. They diagnosed even the smallest issues with my car accurately and completed the repairs very quickly. The staff were extremely kind and didn’t cause any inconvenience, offering reasonable prices. This is truly the best place in Gainesville to get your car serviced.

Dropped my Dodge Charger off at Auto ER on Archer Rd for an oil change and brake inspection. They were thorough, honest, fair, and efficient. I appreciate the photos they took and how they kept me informed the whole time. Thank you Al and everyone else who helped me that day. Will be back.
Brought my car to Auto ER for a diagnoses on my car shaking and running rough.
It was touch and go on an answer at first, Thankfully Dwight and the team discovered a tire issue happening on the inside of the tire, not visible from the outside. Due to another issue with the car causing it.. From there it took a team to safely get me back on the road. Personable,patient and large lobby to wait in.
I came here for an oil change and initially had a very good experience so I recommended my fiancé come here for his car as well. This was a horrible mistake.
Upon receiving his car from AutoER, one of his windows was broken and would no longer roll up. He brought it back the same day to them and they charged him full price for parts and half price for labor, despite his windows being rolled UP when he first brought the car in.
After charging nearly $500 to fix the window they broke, when receiving his car back he noticed the mirror controls on that door were now broken ALSO. They once again denied any responsibility whatsoever despite them opening that same door panel to replace the regulator. He also found that his tire valve covers were completely missing. They gave him some subpar plastic replacements at least which is a joke considering the damage this place has caused.
I’m never coming back to this shop and cannot recommend it to anyone.
I had such a great experience with Auto ER and would recommend this place to anyone in Gainesville needing a repair or maintenance. Bobby and Jesse were wonderful, as well as the rest of the staff. As a college student, getting my car repaired is a new experience for me and they were very welcoming and friendly. The service was done quickly and they have a comfortable waiting area. Could not recommend this place enough!
Went in to have an inspection on my struts from another auto shops findings, initially they wanted to charge double the price quoted from the other mechanic for the same work but with proof, price matched. They also added alot of other recommendations that would've added up to 4000$ in total, amongst them was to replace brake pads that they already replaced 5 months ago again for double the price previously (they assumed i wouldn't be knowledgeable on my own car). Im disappointed in the intent to upcharge and coerce customers, hoping for better service and for Rachel to return.
I come from an automotive background and have dealt with a lot of repair shops. I can tell you from a lot of experience that the crew at Auto ER, especially Nick are top notch. They deliver true quality service and have a unique trait that is hard to find in shops and that is honesty, they tell you upfront what you need to know not what you wanna hear and pride themselves on quality work. I would highly recommend Auto ER Gainesville if you need any repair for your car.
Great experience at auto ER they have a phenomenal shuttle service. They took me everywhere I needed to go while my mustang was in the shop. Nick was an amazing advisor got me in quick and out even quicker with no problems. Car came back to me in good shape as well real top tier mechanics here. This is my second car I’ve taken to them and all had gone well. A little pricey but for the accommodations, excellent service and the warranty on any parts you get it’s much worth it. On top of it they were still cheaper than the dealership and the dealership doesn’t give you half the accommodations.
I was treated with the utmost respect and Nick was totally honest about everything. After the diagnosis he explained everything that I needed for my car to run smoothly again. I explained my financial situation and he was more than helpful by suggesting that I finance through epay and I am extremely grateful for that. I couldn't get everything fixed at that time but Nick explained what major things were necessary that day and I could do the rest another time. He printed out everything that was done and everything that needed to be done later. I really appreciate Auto ER because you all are very reliable and professional. Best oil change service I’ve gotten! Employees were so nice and they did a full inspection of my car and let me know about some battery issues I have. Very transparent and a great price. Am only in the area for a couple months but will absolutely come back here if I have any maintenance issues or honestly will probably get some general maintenance done while I’m here because I really liked this place.

My family and I ran into a car engine issue while driving through Gainesville for a family vacation. It was an unfortunate event for us, but we were fortunate to come across Mike and his team. Mike was there from the beginning, trying to get us back on the road. He was very responsive. The service and fees were reasonable given the amount of repairs. While the engine issue was deeper than anticipated, Mike helped us with the repairs and getting the car and us home.
I brought my car in for a full front axle brake job, a coolant flush and replacement of my front tires. I received an estimate on all the work I wanted done in a couple of hours. I appreciate the thoroughness of their diagnostics as I had no clue my plugs were 20k miles past their lifespan! The mechanics got to work after I gave my approval on the issues they found, and I got my car back the next day! Now she is driving better than when I got her!
I love the free estimate, and Nick was very sweet, honest, and genuine when dealing with me calling multiple times to check up on my baby!
Only hiccup was a missing plastic tab on some cable cover in my engine bay which was no big deal; they replaced it in just a couple minutes when I brought my car in the next day.
Auto ER of Gainesville has been so helpful. They are the only people I’d let touch my car. They answer every question patiently and thoroughly and highlight the service that you need while clarifying those services that while beneficial, don’t need to be prioritized. All of the staff is kind and considerate, as a three-time customer there’s not a single place I’d recommend over them. Thank you to Nick and all of the wonderful staff that I have interacted with!
I had a great experience AutoER! I needed the bottom exterior moulding of my car reattached, and they had it done within minutes. The employees were very patient, kind, and accommodating. I cannot recommend them more!
My daughter‘s car broke down in Gainesville due to overheating. I live 3 1/2 hours away and generally perform all of the maintenance on our vehicles however, being that I was not in that area, I had to find a repair shop quickly to get her car back on the road. Everyone I dealt with at Auto ER via the phone was very friendly, helpful annd promptly diagnosed the issue of a faulty cooling fan. They did list other items that should be checked and serviced but didn’t push any of that on me took and care of what needed to be done to get our car back on the road in a very quick turnaround. Had the car towed there on a Saturday night. They started on it Monday morning after I approved the fan replacement. We had it back by Monday afternoon. Great service, can’t say enough good things about these guys. I recommend Auto ER.
Awesome shop!! Took my daughter’s vehicle in, diagnosed it then sent a really cool online report with any issues they found. They respected my daughter’s decision to take care of the immediate issues and didn’t push for the smaller ones, but made sure they were documented. They had her car in and diagnosed with 1 business day and ready the same day of approval-even with the parts coming from another town. Their customer service is above and beyond with the friendliness and manners one can only find in the south! ;-) Thank you! Auto ER was the best choice I could’ve made for body work after getting rear-ended. After dealing with the other person’s insurance, I was nervous about being taken advantage of somewhere else but Auto ER proved me completely wrong. They made the whole process smooth and fast. Jesse was nothing but friendly and understanding. On top of that, I had a separate issue with my door and were able to fix it by working with my warranty, which I really appreciated. I trust them completely and will definitely be going back for any future body work!
Auto ER has been amazing looking after my Ford Expedition. They were upfront and honest about the few things it did need as well as doing a full in-depth health check of the motor and transmission on the vehicle. I would recommend them to anyone who needs work done to their vehicle. They are amazing and super friendly and helpful.
Very happy with the work they did for me. One of their experts took a look at one of my minor issues and fixed it up in a jiff. That allowed me to focus on more work my car needed. Friendly staff, great lounge area. They're also a few hundred feet from a Wawa to help ease the wait while they work. I also loved that they text you a link to an itemized list after their car health inspection and let you see a price for every recommended fix which helps you work within your budget. These guys are my go-to now.
We were on a family trip and our back tire had been reinstalled incorrectly by a different tire shop so the vehicle was not drivable. Luckily we were able to get to City Boy's just in time. They were very empathetic to our situation and fixed our issue in very short order. In addition, they went the extra mile to deliver our car to a different location so as to not interrupt our vacation. I highly recommend bringing your vehicle here for service needs.
Mr Dwight and Mark were absolutely fabulous. They helped me with every single car concern, had really affordable prices, good efficiency and kept a clean waiting area with food and drinks stocked up. Definitely cannot recommend more will be back.
