Certainly don't try to make their job easier by telling them the part you need and year car/generation before they ask because you know what info they'll need or they will either hang up on you or give you an attitude. I don't ever write reviews but that's poor customer service!
Donovan's has changed hands a few times since I have been going there for 20 years now but for the most part the staff are always friendly and helpful with answering questions. The 2 women in the weigh office that sits now by its lonesome are just wonderful and very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I have always enjoyed going there and would recommend Donovans Auto Salvage for not only scrap metal and parts but they have a nice new building and lot for selling many types of decent used vehicles at fair pricing. Good all around company.

I called up Donovan for parts and unfortunately, they don’t have what I need. However, the gentleman I spoke to went online to see who does and found a salvage in southern NJ that has it. It just so happens that I am driving through NJ tomorrow for a holiday to New England, so this is just a bit of a detour in an already planned trip.
The salvage Donovan recommended was awesome and I have Donovan to thank for going that extra mile, not only finding them but giving me their phone number and the price of my parts, as well.
If Donovan ever has what I need in the future, I will go to them. I highly recommend them as your first stop.
My Daughter needed car parts she called ahead and found that they had it at a reasonable price. Went over and walked in and they fixed us right up no problems. Great experience overall.
Very friendly and very helpful. It's large and a bit confusing at first but if your polite they will direct and help with whatever you need.

Donovan's has used parts for your vehicle. Just pay the $1 fee to walk their yard, then pull what you need off of the vehicle, take that part to the counter to pay for it. Very easy process!
It's a great place to scrap metal instead of taking it to the dump. At the dump you pay to get rid of the scrap at donavans you get cash for your scrap. It is also better for the environment as it gets recycled.
I bought a tailgate for my truck . And they both knew it was me and I drove a hour to get it got it home and the tailgate is rusted out . I didn’t have my receipt so they won’t honor it I been buying parts off these people for years and now they wanna do me like this over 75 bucks and I didn’t ask for the money back just store credit . What a shittthole.
I never had any problems out of Dovonvon all their staff is friendly and very professional. The girls in the front desk that pays out the tickets are respectful and so nice. Will recommend my friends and family here. Keep up the good work guys!!!
Went there for the first time the other day and my phone insisted I write a review. I was referred by a friend to check out cars for my old lady since hers went up a week ago. They should consider organizing there parking lot so its less confusing but other then that the lady with short hair at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. Very proffesional and made everything a breeze. I will be sure to return with friends who are also interested in cars.
scammy. they want #1 copper to be shiny, not just clean and pure. this isnt bright wire. that's not how its paid for anywhere else. Fitzgerald's is 13 minutes away
Al salvage yards this one is not as well laid-out or organized as many that I have been to they do have some pots already pulled and they will pull major components for you however what I'm finding is that things like hoses wiring harnesses Etc I'll simply cut instead of being disconnected. No not go when its be raining its a mud bath.
It was the first time my father and I went there. And the Spanish woman at the spare parts desk was one of the rudest, most unprofessional person I've ever met. She was having a personal side conversation with one of her coworkers while we were waiting for her to insist us. She was NOT helpful at all!!! She claimed that she couldn't look things up on the computer. Worst of all, she had an attitude while we were asking her about the rims. As long as she's there, we will NEVER return. I recommend Murray's or Mitchell's instead. At least their employees are professional, won't talk to you like a child AND they're actually helpful.

First, Murray's can easily look up rims and tires on their computer system, you should update your system. Many people look for rims and tires for their cars, in case didn't realize.
Second, at first, we were looking for the same STYLE rim, but since we've been searching for a rim for over a month at the time, my father suggested we just focus on the amount of lugs and rim SIZE. You never notice cars with different rims on them? Not the same style but the same size and amount of lugs.
Third, NOTHING you can say can excuse the way YOUR worker was yelling at me and my father. We showed nothing but common courtesy to her and she acted like an animal towards us, that's why we left. If you don't check her or fire her, you WILL lose customers because of HER.
Her attitude is the sole reason we were unsatisfied. Nice to know you care about your customers' experience.
I found all the Nissan Rouge parts I needed at a great price. The guys that pulled the parts, did an amaizing job. Danny, the manager, has a great team.
I traveled 3 hours each way after these guys guaranteed me they had the right part and it wasn't damaged and it was the wrong year and it was damaged and junk! Just typical bunch of idiots who don't take their job seriously even when I tell them I'm driving 3 hours each way to get the damn thing!
