Absolutely amazing museum. Its only the second floor of the store. Free. We all loved it. We talked to the man who's collection it is. Very interesting. He said its a faction of what he owns and he rotates it so visit more than once. The people at the ship wreck museum at Del Tech suggested this and im glad they did.

This is an absolute hidden gem. And if you catch the Museum Director there count yourself blessed like we were. This is seriously the highlight of our offseason visit. We learned so much and were genuinely impressed with the collection. I don’t even have words to adequately describe the visit.

A little known gem of a destination. Literally world-class museum. Definitely worth seeing and good for all ages, men, women and children. Dale, the owner, is a friendly, engaging, treasure trove of information. If you have questions, ask away. If you happen by when he's answering someone else's question, listen in. He's so knowledgeable and happy to share his knowledge. Free, but consider leaving a donation in the box. It's more than worth it.

The museum was awesome! They have pirate treasure and weapons. The kids loved it and we used it as an educational stop for our family vacation. The ladies running the shop were so sweet to my girls also! No cost to enter and the shop had some great incense to choose from!

This was a fascinating museum! The owner was happy to talk about his findings & history. Very interesting items to look at. Definitely check this place out.

We stopped by this little museum while we were down for Oceans Calling. It was super neat and wonderful set up. The guy had an abundance of knowledge to share about the artifacts and the ladies down stairs were so nice and helpful with knowledge to help us tourists out.

Fascinating collection of artifacts, with stories of many wrecks. A well organized life's work of recovered treasures from tragedies. This is free, and well worth a few hours

A true hidden gem. See everything from ancient Mayan relics to real pirate booty, all lovingly displayed with exquisite attention to detail. This man has turned his hobby exploring shipwrecks into an absolute gift to the community and tourists alike.

Small but comprehensive shipwreck museum located inside a seashell gift shop. The curator/owner was on sight during our visit and he has wonderful stories to share about his experiences recovering items from shipwrecks. Very knowledgeable about the displays and the process of recovery and preservation. No admission charge, but they accept donations.

Super interesting - lots to see and read about. I particularly enjoyed seeing a menu from the Titanic and emeralds in basalt. My kids (11, 13) were bored after a few minutes. There was a gentleman telling stories about his shipwreck recovery adventures- that part was fantastic! The store below has really unique items and prices seemed reasonable to me. They request to not post pictures publicly so I am abiding.

This was a great stop during our travels! First, the shop on the first floor is huge and has a lot of variety of souvenir type things, toys, glassware, personalized things, plants, and so much more, there's also a whole room of just shells, all kinds of different sizes, shapes of seashells. Prices were reasonable, better than I expected considering the type of shop/location/etc. Then the upstairs had the museum! (Free, but donations welcome.) There was a lot of really interesting things that have been found locally from shipwrecks, things that washed up, got dug up, from many many years ago up to relatively recently found. There are a lot of descriptions to read about the things found if you want to hear the story of what it was or how it was found. Overall, we considered skipping this location on our travels due to timing, but decided to stop anyway, and we're all so glad we did! We would have missed out on some great purchases and seeing some really interesting things!

Unique and interesting finds from local shipwrecks. Owner was the diver that found most of the items and has interesting stories. The museum is free to view.

They had a sign saying you're not allowed to take pictures or post them online?. WELL LOOK WHAT I JUST DID. Actually pretty nice museum other than the ridiculous policy

Great free small museum. Lots of artifacts on display. Also fun to check out the shop on the first level.

This was a very fun interesting place to visit at the end of the boardwalk . I learned some new things about the ocean and diving apparatus. Wish I had taken more pictures but my phone was dying . Also enjoyed the displays and presentation

Fun little free museum... You need to enter through the shop and go up some stairs to go into this. There's a donation bin to help keep this place in business. Wish some of the larger glassed-in areas had bigger text for the cards. Both me and the kids had trouble reading the cards in the deeper display cases.

Just love it! We visit every time we are in ocean city and we always come back with treasure to add to our little piece of paradise at home

This is truly a gem, must see. The owner's presentation was very interesting. Dave Clifton is a natural speaker; his work ethic is top-notch. His enthusiasm and dedication to recovery shone bright and clear. Congratulations to him and his team.

Awesome museum to visit located on the second floor of the Seashell City seashell shop. This museum holds so many awesomely beautiful treasures that most people have never laid their eyes on and might have never been seen if someone hadn't rescued them from the deep. Not unlike the seashell shop on the first floor so much to look at it definitely takes a while to take it all in. It is definitely someplace that you could visit over and over again and not see all that there is to see.

Awesome spot! Free museum upstairs! Real artifacts uncovered from shipwrecks! I even got to chat with the fella who finds all the shipwrecks/treasures and learned some of the history behind it all! Such a cool place to stop! Just wish they had some more museum-specific souvenirs!

We meet the owner who is also a diver. He has located multiple shipwrecks and recovered many treasures. What a learning experience and pleasure to meet him.

Love this place. We discovered it when my son was young, about 20 years ago, sort of by accident. It is above the Shell shop in the big pink building. It is a surprising and varied collection of discoveries from under the sea. A lifelong professional diver's collection of underwater artifacts. They are well presented and are educational and inspiring for all ages. We just visited again while on vacation and were so happy that it is still there. A relic, but in a good way.

If you're lucky enough to catch the owner there it makes the museum 10x better. The stories are simple amazing, how he survived this long blows my mind. Free admission but they ask for donations and I'd suggest to donate. You would have to travel to many museums to what he has there.

This free museum is a great place to check out with the family on a rainy day! Everyone is very kind and some really neat things are shown. You are allowed to take pictures but no video and no sharing them on social media (hence why I only have a few of the lobby and steps) so you will just have to stop by and see what you think yourself! *note* it is on the smaller side so if it gets crowded you may not be able to see it all.*

Super cool free museum in Fenwick! It’s definitely a must visit on a bad weather day or any day. Lots of interesting stuff to see and knowledgeable staff that can answer any questions you may have. I came here on a Sunday and it was raining, so it was quite crowded. But we were still able to see everything. There’a lots of cool things to check out here and I found it interesting to see stuff that people have recovered from ship wrecks.

Artifacts were cool. No bathroom so we had to leave and come back. Came back at 2:40 to purchase a recovered coin, and they were closed.. even though they were supposed to be open till 3.

Seriously fantastic collection. My oldest (11) is working towards getting his scuba certs now and was just enthralled with the collection and the owner who came out, told stories, showed pieces not currently on display, etc. Very personable and friendly. So much to see here!
