Have been using Drake Automotive for several years for oil/filter changes, tire rotations and other routine work. They are very professional and thier Staff is very friendly and willing to help with any automotive challenges. I highly recommend them.

First, let me say that Jeff the person you deal with on the phone most of the time and picking up and dropping off is a gem. I’ve had two of my vehicles in there for various services since we started back in November 2025. I feel comfortable with Fred Drake automotive.

Clearly a professional shop with well trained and knowledgeable staff. Friendly people who are very good at the communication side of customer service. Work was done in a timely manner and no added charges. They will be my go-to shop for all automotive services.

This was my first visit to Fred Drake Automotive. Every single member of the staff was super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating! This will now be my "go-to" shop from now on! Very affordable as well! If I were able to give more than 5 stars, I would! Thank you all!

The vehicle that am driving was taken to Drake for an estimate on a window repair, oil leak and exhaust system issue. Of the repairs made, the window was the most expensive but was explained in detail. The oil leak was also repaired and that was also explained in detail. The exhaust system was not repaired with a valid explanation and a referral to a local muffler shop. The repair took a month but there was a hold up in parts. The whole time, the shop was in contact with me giving me regular updates. Did they have to? No. This is why I would recommend going to this shop.

My wife's car suffered a bump with recent ice storm that caused damage to the oil pan. The damage was significant enough that the vehicle only made it to the house and had to be towed. Fred Drake Automotive was able to tow the vehicle within one business day and make timely repairs so that we had the vehicle back and running within 3 total business days. We were very happy with the customer service and timely repairs. Cost to complete job was reasonable. We were very happy with our experience.

If you own a higher‑end or non‑traditional brand vehicle and are tired of paying unreasonable service fees at dealerships, do yourself a favor and go to Fred Drake Automotive instead. I own an Alfa Romeo with very limited service options near me, and I used to drive over an hour to a dealership for maintenance. That all changed when my daughter‑in‑law, Jennifer Behm, recommended Fred Drake Automotive. They are the most honest, reliable, and dependable car service business I have ever dealt with. My main contact is Kevin, and I don’t have words to fully express his level of support and the prompt, thoughtful way he responds to every issue I bring as a very heavy driver. I trust them completely and recommend them without hesitation.

I've used this company several times in 2025 and have always been pleased with the service and the customer service. Recently I dropped my car off a day early for an oil change. They had a cancellation for that day so they did my car a day early and got it back to me the same day! I was pleasantly surprised to not be without my car the following day. They finished my car just before closing time but they stayed late to make sure I was able to retrieve my keys from the lockbox after hours. These guys truly treat you as you would want to be treated - as a person not a job. Highly recommend Fred Drake Auto.

They had a promotional deal for a oil change, which was only $50. They did it within one hour while I waited great service all around. I will definitely come back and recommend friends and family

Came into the Shop for Warranty (Silver Rock) repair. The mechanic accurately diagnosed my issue and the service advisor made sure that I got the repairs I needed and not the band aid repair that warranty companies want. Most shops in the area dont put in the effort for warranty work. I ended up getting a $3,000 repair and only paid my $100 deductible. I strongly recommend that you put your faith into this shop.

I wish I could do more than writing a review! From the time I walked in to the time I picked up the car was a wonderful experience. My run was late and I was going to walk but before I finished my sentence they were figuring out how they would get me a ride. They not only care for cars…they care about people and this is the reason I will go back.

Update:2026 Still awesome after an oil change and some issues with my TPMS sensors. They fixed quick and well priced! ‐-----original review below I recommend Fred Drake Automotive. There employees are kind and polite. I had a two wheel mount and balance done. They were busy, but still got my Jeep finished quickly. The offered me a shuttle home and back. They explained a problem with my metal valve stem caps and fixed and replaced them for me. I will be going here for all future car repairs and maintenance. The prices are very competitive and beat every dealership around. Check them out for yourself.

As a single women, I need someone that I trust to take care of my car. I totally trust Fred Drake! I never worry about them over charging me or trying to sell me something I do not need. They have taken very good care of me over the years. I highly recommend them!

Tool truck in for 50,000 mile service, headlight change, tires, battery, brake check and overall inspection. A few hiccups with deliveries (not Drakes fault). But constant communication with me on the progress. Very happy with the service. Would recommend to everyone. Thanks for great work.

Brought in two of my cars for an oil change. I made the appointments a few days in advance and was told how long it would take. Both cars were completed early. They even told me I didn’t need the tire rotation I wanted… you don’t see that too often. They are easy to work with and everyone I came across was professional & hospitable. I’ll be back

I went to Fred Drake Automotive to get an oil change with a coupon my sister gave me. I was very impressed. They did the work in the time they told me it would take. They shared with me other work that needed to be done but didn't hard sell it to me which I appreciate very much. Everyone was very friendly and especially Maria, I think she was the receptionist. We hit it off because we are both Maria's. 😆

I had a great experience here ( my first time) despite my tire getting punctured at a car wash. They were responsive, professional, polite, patient, accommodating, flexible and thorough. my first experience was really nice. everyone working there was very friendly. making the appointment and checking in were no problem. my appointment was for 4 pm oil change. car went back at 3:58 and came out at 4:30. that works for me.. I'll be back.

Adulting sucks sometimes. Like an idiot, I overshot the window for renewing my tags without having to go through inspection. Knowing I wouldn't pass inspection because of a malfunctioning pesky purge valve, I succumbed to the notion of getting it fixed. I was at Fred Drake's the next day, my fixed, purring car back in my hands two business days later. Communicative, quick, reliable, overall pretty wonderful. My business is based out of Salisbury, Md. my driver was taking a client to Wilmington, De. On the way there, we had a busted tired. They changed the tire for her. Quick and easy

I called late afternoon with a tire issue. Jeff was able to get me in, however my tire could not be repaired. He was able to order my tires over night and let me borrow a car as I had back to back work events. I really appreciated the car as my work events were too far to get a ride from anyone. My car was ready the next afternoon. I had very important appointments, and I do not know what I would have done without a car. Thanks so much!!😊
