This location is the bees knees , I can’t say or put into work how great of a service I receive from this location from the upper management to the techs. They even have a shuttle van to drop you off and pick you up when work is completed and are very communicative . I set an appointment to install new tires and get an alignment . They installed the tires perfectly, but did not charge an alignment because I needed other work to be done in order to do a proper alignment so they saved me money without charging for a service that would’ve been pointless , I love the honesty from this group of outstanding people you will never go wrong using them , thank you guys and have a great day ! (2007 civic si coupe)

It was a very pleasant experience . I came with my kids and Jake was so sweet and attentive and my kids loved talking to him. They offer refreshments. The place is very clean and comfortable. We will always go there for our car needs as long as the services are offered.

Shoutout to Paul Campanella’s Auto & Tire Center in Hockessin. Caught a chuck of metal in my tire on the way to a home inspection this morning. Rolled in on a tight schedule and they immediately worked to get me in and out fast. No drama. No upsell nonsense. Just efficient, professional, and respectful of my time. Just down to earth people. They also got a solid laugh out of the prank valve stem caps my wife put on my tires which somehow made the situation even better. This is how you run a business and what prompt me to write a review to support it. Highly recommend.

Paul Campanella’s auto service center has delivered the absolute best, polite, professional, and friendly service I have ever experienced in my many, many years. I had a flat tire on my way into work and stopped in, they had me in and out faster than it took me to finish a cup of coffee and to boot, they fixed it for free! I didn’t even buy my tires from them. I’ll be seeing Jake for my all my future service needs, thanks everyone!

The most honest and friendly service I have ever experienced. Wonderful staff and outstanding customer service. They repaired my tire and didn’t charge me at all. On top of that, they provided a detailed analysis of my car and explained my options clearly. I highly, highly recommend them to anyone.

Went in for a front end alignment and set of 4 General all-season tires. I wanted to get rid of the rough riding factory run-flats on my 2025 Pacifica. I was presented with a couple of tire possibilitiess and chose the General tire line which is an excellent brand. Needless to say, the ride improved DRAMATICALLY. To those who worry about getting a flat tire; simply get a compact rechargeable/12v tire inflator on Amazon and keep it in the vehicle. If you pick up a nail or something small the inflator will get you back to home. Anything larger you are going to tow the vehicle to the tire shop anyway. Note- DO NOT get one of those "tire goop" inflation cans that load up your tire with sealant materials. They make repairs/replacements a big mess. Great service, great price, and courtesy shuttle to and from my home to drop off and pick up the vehicle.

I can’t say enough good things about Paul Campanella's Hockessin. Anytime I’ve had an issue—outside of even scheduling a service appointment—they’ve been more than accommodating. Their level of professionalism is truly fantastic. On multiple occasions, I’ve called with concerns like a tire puncture or a quick check, and without hesitation they’ve told me to come right in. Jake, Stu, and Tariq always seem to come to my rescue and go above and beyond to help. Most recently, my oil light came on and I wanted to stop in for a quick oil change. Tariq took the time to check my oil level first and let me know I could safely wait until Monday, which I really appreciated. That kind of honesty and customer care is hard to find. Highly recommend this team—they consistently deliver excellent service and peace of mind!

The whole team at the Hockessin branch are such phenomenal people. Through a rough patch in the day, their warm welcome and readiness allowed us to quickly solve our issue on one of the coldest day of the year. They made what seemed to be an emergency, a quick fix. Jake, standing out for his positive attitude and knowledge, showed us a few tips to help prevent further issues. His personality shines through genuine conversation and hospitality. I could not be more pleased with this team and will always recommend them to anyone who is having routine/emergency auto concerns.

I’ve been to Paul’s a few times and each time I go they do great work everytime!! Jake was a great help when I was replacing my tires getting ready for winter and informed me that my transmission fluid needed replacing too. He had it done really quick (one day) while they were very busy! Paul Campanella’s does great work each time I’ve had to swing by! 5/5 stars.

The service at Paul Campanella's is spectacular. There have been two occasions where I have had emergency car issues in the area and went straight to them for help. Both times they were able to fix the issue immediately and send me on my way. They are very kind, understanding, and knowledgable in their field. Both of my experiences left me feeling like I was being taken care of by a family friend. I am very grateful to have them in the area!

I had a great experience here. I called for a basic oil change but also for an overall health of my car. Jake and the other technicians did a wonderful job walking me through each item in my car but didn't put any pressure on me to fix anything immediately. They gave me realistic timelines for when I might need to get the work done. And they even made sure I checked to make sure my battery was under warranty before I changed it.

I had a great experience at Paul Campanella’s Auto Center in Hockessin, DE. I brought my truck in for an oil change and routine maintenance, knowing that a couple of tires needed to be replaced, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free. The team was incredibly friendly and helpful. Thank you to Matthew and Jake for help scheduling, clearly explaining everything and making sure I understood my options. We ended up getting quite a bit of work done, including four new tires, and the quality of the work was excellent at a reasonable price. I also love that they offer a concierge service to help get customers where they need to go while their vehicle is in the shop. A big shout-out as well to Shaila Ritz for sharing more about their services at a recent meeting and encouraging me to go. I will be back for some more warranty work soon, too. I highly recommend Paul Campanella’s Auto Center for honest service and a great customer experience. Thank you all!

I had an awesome experience at Paul Campanella Auto & Tire Center thanks to Jake. I stopped by right as they were getting ready to close, and he still took the time to help me with my windshield wipers without hesitation. He was super friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond when he didn’t have to. Really appreciate the great customer service — thank you, Jake!

Their website says, “During every oil change, we check and top off other essential fluids, such as coolant, brake fluid, and windshield washer fluid, to keep your vehicle running smoothly.” I got an oil change last week and brought it back Monday for a brake light replacement. My washer fluid ran out Tuesday and I just noticed coolant is low. They did identify the brake light as broken, but the empty/low fluids make me wonder what else may not have been checked.

We started out to going grocery shopping one Saturday before the snowstorm and the wife and I got out of our development and up the road maybe about 50 feet when all of a sudden, our Chrysler Van’s engine started vibrating. The whole vehicle started vibrating and we thought well I had a flat tire, but there were no tire indications on driver console, but the engine light was on solid, so we did a U-turn and we got back to the house under 10 mph and parked it in the driveway. I checked the oil, the oil seemed a bit low, but then when I left it sit there for a little bit the oil drain back down and the dip stick should full. There are no fluid leaks on the floor in our garage, and no leaks in the driveway. When I tried to back the Van up in the driveway. It had a hesitation, so we decided it needed to be towed. I contacted our Paul Campanella's Auto Center, and they arranged for towing, what a relief. Our Van was loaded on a flatbed towing truck and taken to the services center. We they started running a diagnostic they found that it had Engine Code for the Number 4 Cylinder was miss firing on our 6 Cylinder engine. To be on the safe side, we had them replace all the spark plugs and coils which required removing a good deal of the engine component’s covering the spark plugs and coils. It’s the way that Chrysler built their engines. Anyway, they completed the job, and I had my Van back by the next morning. The vehicle was running like it came off the showroom floor and was clean. The invoice was less than if my local Chrysler dealer had done the repair. EXCELLENT WORK!

This is the first Google review I have ever written. The rear windshield wiper in my 3 month old new car disappeared about 3 weeks ago. The dealer said that they would not replace it without going through the service department. So I bought one on amazon for $9.99 and decided to fix it myself. Despite the directions stating just "snap it on".. It did not work. So I drove around with the wiper in my car thinking I'd call somewhere to get an appointment to get it fixed but just didn't get around to it. Finally, I just decided to stop in to Campanellals on my way to work, to see if they could squeeze me in. Not only did they squeeze me in- the manager was walking out. with another team member and took out his key chain and had a little tool on it and fixed it within a few seconds. They would not accept payment. This is true customer service and commitment to helping in the community. Thank you Paul Campanella's Auto Center in Hockessin! You guys are the best!

Super happy I brought my car here. From the booking process to check out and getting my car back, everything was clearly outlined (process, options, etc) Thoroughly explained, and I felt was great value for the maintenance my car needed. A friendly and honest car shop. I'm used to working on my car. Now I'm slowly realizing it maybe be better to take it to the professionals that can get it done quicker and less stressful. When they quoted additional work for me I said thank you but I think I'll give it the old college try since money is tight. They said it'll be difficult but they understood. Jake even said if I run into any trouble give them a call. That's great customer service!

Best quick, easy, and FREE air in my friends tire. We just had a flat tire,changed it, and then the donut was flat. He assisted us with putting air in our donut and for free. So kind and admirable!

I came in based on all of the positive reviews online and will not be returning. I strongly urge anyone else reading these reviews of how honest this place is to look elsewhere. Short version: upselling seems to be the name of their game, and resistance is met with condescension. I have gotten less upselling, less pressure, and more kindness at dealership shops. I brought my car in to get my lowlight bulbs replaced. Immediately, I was told since both lights are out they would want to "do a full workup, just to make sure nothing more serious is going on." I informed them that one bulb had been out for a long time-- to the tune of 8 months or more-- and I was there because the other one finally went too; I'm just here to get the lightbulbs replaced. Before they even popped the hood, I got three separate upsell attempts: "While we're in there, how about an oil change? We can run a special diagnostic test for $220 since that's the only way to REALLY know what's going on. We can always just go ahead and upgrade the lights so you don't need to replace them; we have all the electric components here and ready to go." When my responses was no, no, and no, one man went outside, popped the hood, and shuffled back in to inform me that he couldn't find the access for the bulbs, couldn't tell what kind of lights I had, that my car had lights that were REALLY hard to access, and I probably had very specific specialty bulbs. When I informed him that I really didn't think that was the case and asked him to just price out the halogen bulbs I had come in for, I got some hemming a hawing before he finally produced two quotes: $350 to replace two halogen bulbs, and over $500 for some specialty bulbs that he insisted were "probably actually more like what [I] needed." He proceeded to warn me, for the third time since our interaction started, that this was only if the bulbs were the ONLY thing they found, that it could be much more "down the road if [I] don't get it taken care of," and it would be best to let them take a look and give me a full writeup of recommendations. I left. I spent 25 minutes learning on YouTube, $50 at an auto parts store, and 15 minutes of my own manual labor swapping the bulbs that were not, in fact, REALLY hard to access (granted, the driver's side was a tight squeeze, but still very doable with normal-sized, adult, human hands). I now have two working headlights, a long-overdue new skill and sense of accomplishment, and a grudge against Paul Campanella's.

I had a slow leak in my tire and brought my car to Paul Campanella's service center in Hockessin. Not only did they fix the issue quickly, they also performed a full car inspection — all at no charge. The level of care and attention was truly exceptional. Eric was incredibly patient and knowledgeable, offering thoughtful advice without any pressure. The team even arranged a ride to take me home, and the driver, Jerry, was just as kind and courteous. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for honest, top-notch automotive care. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I recently had a truly fantastic experience at Paul Campanella's service center in Hockessin, and I just had to share it! My tire unfortunately picked up a nail, but when I brought it in, the team there went above and beyond. They promptly removed the nail and expertly repaired the tire, and the best part? They didn't charge me a thing! The service writers were not only incredibly friendly but also very knowledgeable, making the whole process smooth and reassuring. It's so refreshing to see a business that truly prioritizes customer service and goes the extra mile. I especially want to give a big shout-out to Eric and Matt for their outstanding help and professionalism.

These guys are the best! They’ve been helping me and my mom out for years. Took the car in today for some routine service and they went above and beyond. Fast and efficient, always friendly. I’m consistently impressed with the quality of their work. Plus, they are dog friendly! My mom’s pup barks at everyone, but not when he’s at Paul’s! He was so well-behaved and they gave him a treat. Will definitely be coming back whenever the car needs some love.

Twice now when I’ve needed new tires my dealership has said it would take a few days to get the proper tires in for me, but Paul Campanella’s has been able to source them the same day. Most recently I had a tire that picked up a nail in a location that wasn’t repairable. Jacob at the Hockessin location was friendly, easy to work with, and had two new tires on my car the same day I called him. Great service!

We were coming home from vacation and our back passenger side tire brakes had some issues. Not being from the area we looked up the closest garage and found Paul Campanella's Auto Center. We called and they said they would get us in right away, even though they closed in about 2 hours. When we got there the team went right to work assessing the problem and giving us a good price and solution to get us back on the road by closing time. The experience was phenomenal. They took great care of us and I cannot recommend this Auto Center enough!

Paul Campanella’s Auto Centers is top choice for my household’s vehicles. The customer service is exceptional and they are extremely accommodating and do their honest best to work with you to repair your vehicle(s). I used to only go to the dealer for service but they can’t compete with these guys. Please keep up the good work!! And, thank you for all your hard work on my car!
