Fantastic for families with small children. Very open, so they can explore a bit.

We came for one of their "first fridays".... Such a beautiful setting, with great food and great music! There's so much yo do. We didn't even get to it all. We will definitely be back for more events

This farm is cute but don't expect you can see the animals as mentioned. T'was a bright sunny day, and we were here around 11.45am to see the farm animals as mentioned. When we reached here, we were told , "you guys can walk around and see the animals. We have sheep, goat, bunnies, chicken, and cows".. We went to the area where the sheeps and goat were kept as pointed out to us, and to our suprise, they were locked up inside the barn. Lol. And dont expect the lady who feeds these animals to be nice to you. She won't even let you have a glimpse of the goat or sheep locked up inside the all-enclosed barn? [Pssst...not even a peek-a-boo]. Well, the 2 ladies at the counter in the little shop were sweet though. There were no sign of cows as they were away somewhere else grazing, out of sight. When asked, we were told they have 5 cows but the cows are left loose on the property and is hard to find them and clueless when the cows would be back?. Well, luckily, we got to see the 2 bunnies ?..were so adorable, who remained in their enclosed cage and also the chickens? in their locked up coop. Well, if nothing works, and if you're lucky enough, you can see a beaver ? run around randomly??.. About the little shop, they have farm fresh eggs (these are from their chickens) while other goodies like ice-creams, cheese, bread spreads, cake slices, bread, etc from nearby local business. The staff at the counter were kind and helpful.

We visited on a killer hot summer day so we just went to the farm store. Small but high quality produce assortment. Local bread (not same day though) and snacks/sweets. Very nice staff. Cheese selection also good.

Beautiful Farm of the Delaware Nature Society. Some cool learning opportunities for groups including many school trips and family outings. Membership is a great way to support DNS at Coverdale. The annual native plant sale benefits the preserve. There are goats, chicken and cows in residence and it is home to a very old fairly rare American Chestnut.

Coverdale Farm isn't open to the public all that much. We like to attend "First Fridays" where the farm is open to the public on the first Friday of every month. There is live music, food service provided by a local restaurant, soda, beer, wine, and canned cocktails, and beautiful area to walk around in. There are very limited picnic benches so it's a good idea to bring chairs or a blanket. There is also a little shop that sells local bread, produce, ice cream, and other things. It's a fun evening.

Very nice people. But sorry to say that the program was not very engaging or informative.

Great for children and adults to see the behind the scenes action of caring for farm animals.
