Are they not open? Have gone and checked on Friday and they said they where open but aren’t and I called both numbers and no one picks up. Can’t even leave a voicemail. I went to go check again today and in the schedule it says they are open but aren’t!
This place was great when it was a pick a part and a parts counter. It's been taken over by new owners and the staff is still learning the ropes of handling online, in person and web updates. The plus is they have real inventory purchased from auctions and not just local junk that got towed in from the streets and abandoned vehicles.
if i could i would give this place no star. drove from NY to get a part they stated they have got there the part was not available. was told they had another car coming in a few days. drove to their location again from NY, called they said the car came in. i drove there asked for the part got an attitude from the the littl guy, because i interrupted his conversation with a woman that works with him. long story short they had me wait there while he went from one phone call to another for over 25 mins and being i was the only customer in there that morning .that early and still had to leave without buying the part. I will never shop at this DE-establishment again. worst customer service ever. they need a class really bad....
Checked the online inventory TWICE to confirm they had the fender I was looking for. Using what I thought was a great system, I found a '96 fender that would work for my '97 Honda. I tried calling 3X before driving 30 minutes to get there, but got a busy signal each time, so I made the drive. Got to a parking lot that was totally full so I had to double park next to junk cars lined up waiting to be hauled into the scrap yard. Not so convenient, but they have a loudspeaker to call people back to their cars when they are parked in a bad spot. Got quick counter service, but was told that they most likely didn't have the part since at had been in the inventory since 2015, and I had a better chance of winning Lotto than finding the part. He said I should have called first. IF CALLING AHEAD WAS SO CRITICAL, WHY DON'T THEY HAVE THIS FEATURE CALLED 'CALL WAITING'? That's only been a feature of business phones since, OH --- I don't know --- ***1980*** ????? !!! What a waste of my time and gas. If you can't count on the accuracy of the online inventory system, WHY HAVE IT??? I would have to be REALLY desperate to go here again.... It's a shame, because the location is actually really good.
This place is great. I called a lot of yards and none of them were as friendly and helpful as Ike was from classic auto. He was even nicer in person and took the time to explain how the part goes on. He also told me a day or two for the part to come in and a few hours later it was in! I dont think I'll be calling around anymore. I will automatically call Ike!
This place always has the parts I need n Tony is awesome he helps if he doesn't have what one is looking for he tries n gets it. I'm so glad that classic is there thank you Tony for everything.
