I see people complaining about them selling them the wrong part when I deal with a used place I always ask if I can take the part out and see if it's the right one or I bring the core with me and make sure it matches up before I buy it it's not up to the yard to make sure they sell you the right part it's up to you to make sure that the yard sells you the right part it's my truck so they only need to go pick and pull the part for me I bring the cash before I pay them and make sure it's the exact same part that I need then I pay them it's pretty simple
Watch out when dealing with this place, they sold me the wrong tail light assembly and told me that there were no returns or refunds! Like I said they sold me the WRONG assembly and now I’m out $150
Very friendly yard I been to all the salvage yards in ct and this is one of the only ones that will get you a part the same day you pay for it and it's fast. Most places make you pay with credit card and waite a day or two this one you walk rite in pay and they immediately pull it off car for you.. I've even bought bad parts and they replaced them no questions asked . Very nice people and place
Teach your staff to properly drive a motor vehicle. Whoever drives the white truck with plate #DC - 2520 on October 4th is wreckless and ignorant to the laws of traffic.
HORRIBLE PLACE
I don't even understand how these people run their business the way that they do I don't even want to give them one star that's how unprofessional they are I called a few days before to make sure that they had the transmission for my car. I drive all the way out there just for them to tell me that they don't have the transmission even though it showed up on their computer that they had two transmissions for my car
they looked in the trailer they still couldn't find it
i wasted my time and my rides gas. Incredibly misleading very unorganized this place is a dump if anybody is looking for parts for their car go to Chuck and Eddie's they are way more professional!!!!!
Very good people and service but I will say there price are very off they sell there parts for the price of a new part 90% of there parts your better off buying new for what your going to pay for other then that great people never had a issue there
Went looking for a rim and had a pleasant experience. Staff was very courteous, they even took it off for me while i waited. Best part of all they were almost $20 cheaper then the other places i called and they gave me the hub cap for free. Give them a call
called 2 weeks ago and ordered a bumper from tony, i called a week later asking on the status of the bumper he said I will check and call you back. 3 days later still no call back so i called him and was told bumper can't be bought boss is on vaction................... thanks for wasting my customers time.
I went here for a battery for my friends car and they went above and beyond to help me out. They even put it in for me. I would recommend this place to everyone.
I wish I could give them zero stars. Said they had a rim in stock would call me back after they verify. Never called. Called them three days in a row the third time the guy says he has no record of me calling, looks up the part and says "Oh yes we have a rim on hold for you." Drive all the way to Wallingford for them to tell me the rim they have is no good and they had no number to call me back. Mind you I gave them my number at least twice and asked to be called back. Place is a joke and should be out of business.
Every time I call there these guys are rude. And then hang up in your face... I can understand having a bad day... but everyday.. that is just sad. Either these guys need a break or these guys on the phone need to be put in the yard to find out that answering the phones is easy.... stop being jerks
I had a passenger side front door window break in my van. Unfortunately I am working at an important job right now, and couldn't take time off to deal with it, so I had to leave the task to my wife.
I Googled up a list of local used auto parts places for her, and left her with the specifics of what she needed to ask for. Underpass Used Auto Parts was the 1st place she called, and they had the window we needed. She waited for them to pull the window off the van they had, and the price was very decent.
Thanks Guys! It's good to know that a 63 year old woman can go to Underpass Used Auto Parts and get the right part at the right price...
I'll be calling you 1st every time and recommending you to others...
Only posting 1 star because I have to in order to leave a comment. I called at 12pm for a tow truck to come pick up a car of mine. I stayed home all day because they said they would call 10-15 before arriving. That would be nice if they actually showed up. It was my only day of off the week until next week so hopefully next week when I call they actually show up.
