Immediately after you walk in there’s political newspaper articles taped to the wall, including one titled “Trump is Treating a National Disease” with highlighter marks all over. Lots of other hateful deranged cartoons and articles plastered around. A deal on a car isn’t worth that. If you’re a minority, if you have a shred of decency in you, go elsewhere.
Tom, his wife and brother, were all very pleasant to work with. Honestly, I can't say enough good about this place. I drove an hour and a half to come here and test drive a truck, and i was not disappointed. It's amazing what people are selling for used vehicles these days..But, Tom was straight forth with the vehicle at a very reasonable price. All paperwork and registration were done in-house, which made it even better. I will 100% recommend anyone looking for a quality car with a quality experience from nice people to go and check this place out. I promise it will be a good car buying experience. I purchased a used 2010 Chevy Silverado LT from the “ Used Car Co.” in Prospect CT and the experience was surprisingly pleasant! I found the vehicle on Cars.com. The description of the truck was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to get more information on the vehicle, so I called the number listed, intending to leave a message. Despite it being the weekend and after closing hours, Tom, the owner of the shop, answered and was very congenial and helpful. We arranged a time for me to come and see the truck.
During my visit, I requested the truck be placed on a lift for inspection. The mechanic (Tom’s brother) was happy to do this. He also explained that the truck was inspected and listed which items had been replaced and / or serviced. My concern was primarily undercarriage corrosion. Tom’s brother pointed out areas to inspect that would generally corrode on trucks. This truck was free from undercarriage corrosion. In fact, it was very clean and above average in overall condition. The test drive confirmed that this was a very well taken care of vehicle.
Tom and his family have been in the used car business for years. He assured me that all his cars are described “as is” and road worthy. His honesty is evident and his commitment to professionalism is above average. In addition, the documentation process for the sale was seamless and transparent. This tedious procedure was professionally handled by his wife. She clearly explained the process and requirements of the sale, which was a relief for me.
In summary, this was the most comprehensive and effortless used car purchase I have ever experienced………... Kudos, Well Done!!
Actually they did not do a fair business with me. And when I told to the owner that the car had a problem which I had to fix it, he said- well I did not know the car had a problem because "he did not check the car". And on top of it he wouldn’t believe me.

Just to get an idea of the type of person I am, I research every car in depth before I buy and if one review deters me away, I dont buy. Mainly because I've had such bad luck with cars in the past. For 4 years I've been looking and researching cars and I talked myself out of many because the reviews on either the car or dealership were not up to par. Then I found Tom at the Used Car Company. The moment I met him he made me feel so comfortable and something told me I could trust this man. He took no time at all to bring me to the car and go for a test drive and Tom's test drives are not short. He took me and my father in law down this long road where we could really test the car and the entire time we were driving he was telling me about his business and how it was family owned and he maintains an A+ rating with the BBB, something I believed from the beginning of our transaction to the end. He really made me feel like I was getting a good deal on the car and he didn't pressure me into buying at all. He's not like a lot of other dealers who just want to sell you a car and leave you to suffer. This man stands behind his cars and his word. Buying a car from Tom was the best decision I've made with purchasing a vehicle. The car is great and when I had one minor problem with it, he fixed it for me with no questions asked and a great turn around time. What's so amazing about him fixing the car is that I bought it as is with no warranties guaranteed to me, so if he wanted to decline the repair he had all legal right to, but HE DID NOT! Tom apologized to me for the issue and got it fixed right away!! Now the car is running like a champ. I highly recommend Tom and The Used Car Company to friends, family and strangers. He and his staff is amazing and another great perk is that if you need to finance a car, he only deals with a credit union and not a major credit company so the APR is much lower with the credit union than with any other major bank. Well I am a person who had bad experience years ago with a dialer and since then I do not believe in the dealers, I think 90% are liars and only interested in selling and do not care about reputation, but this year my wife wanted Bought a jeep wrangler and we looked at many sites and the prices were high until I found Mr. Tom dealer and saw the jeep my wife wanted, good price, good condition, very friendly and unhurried tom, we tried the jeep, the Mr. tom's personality is very nice and at that moment I found a sincere person, spent 3 days and bought my wife's wrangler jeep, three days later the jeep had a mechanical problem, call Mr. tom to explain the problem and the He immediately told me to take the jeep to the dealer, they searched for the problem and fixed it without giving me any problems. I think tom cares a lot about getting cars that are in good condition to keep making friends like he says.
It is for this reason that I decided to take a few minutes of my time to write about Mr. Tom's dealer because he gave me his word that he was not like everyone else and that his reputation is what has him in business for over 39 years.

I can't say enough about this Company & his entire staff. I bought a Equnoix about 1 1/2 yrs. I ran into a problem & the owner Tommy found out that it was a oil consumption problem. In the meantime he was checking around to see what he could do to fix it. It was a GM problem. Anytime I called with a problem well after the warranty was up I was ALWAYS told to bring the car in. They fixed the issue with no problem! Last month Tommy found out that GM was going to fix the the oil consumption problem & he let me know right away. My car is currently being fixed at no charge so I will no longer have the oil problem. I'm so happy I ran into a very honest Company and staff. My experience with this Company has been fantastic! I thank them for the excellent service long after the sale of the vehicle. I highly recommend this Company. If you're looking for a used car, this is the place to go.
