I purchased a used Lexus SUV from Chris. I was nervous at first about starting the process and buying a used car, but Chris made me feel at ease from the very start. I recently had an issue with the heat in my car and with it being winter, it was especially frustrating. This shop was the closest to me so I decided to give them a try and I am very glad I did. They were quick, efficient, and got the problem taken care of without any hassle. I am very pleased with the service and will definitely use them again!
Would have any vehicle being sold by Chris to be double checked and inspected by a third party mechanic, Chris failed to mention several issues on a vehicle I drove a long distance to purchase. He said body work was perfect, but upon closer look you can see broken bumpers and trim pieces, last minute spray paint jobs, and mechanical issues. What was reported as a rear bumper refinish on the carfax due to suitcase scuffs was actually the vehicle being backed into hard enough it damaged the exhaust. He became a little short/abrupt with us when we tried to negotiate the price for the issues and showed us quickly to the door. I gave a star for his professionalism in the beginning of the deal and him being available to us on a Saturday evening.

I live in Massachusetts but drove to CT after looking at all good reviews online to buy a BMW X3 which was priced competitively, and had the pleasure of working with Chris Antilla, he had been an absolute delight to work with Chris, his exceptional communication skills, friendly demeanor, knowledge on cars and professionalism made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. He had everything ready for us even though we visited on Saturday afternoon, and we were in and out faster than we expected. I had a deal cut on a car in the evening after work. I offered to put a non-refundable deposit down, subject to a pre-purchase inspection. No negotiation, full asking price deal. That deal was accepted. The next morning, at 6:30am an email was sent to me asking for me to call and make the deposit that morning. I would have happily made the deposit the evening I cut the deal. I was tied up with my job, non-stop, in the morning and finishing up a call when I saw the email at about 1:00pm. As soon as the call ended, I called to make the deposit and got voicemail. I followed up immediately with a response to the email stating I called, left a voicemail, and would make the deposit as soon as the dealership could call back. I received an email response that since the dealership didn’t hear from me in the morning, the car was sold shortly after the deadline stipulated in the email. Did the dealer have the right to do this? Of course, it is their car and their business, they can do whatever they want and I did not meet the dealership’s stipulated deadline. Do I think I was treated fairly as a customer? I do not. Given email communication delays, I would think a little more than 5.5 hours would be given for a request for the deal. I don't respond to or expect responses to emails that quickly in my business emails. I thought I had a deal done the night before. Would I do business with this dealership in the future? Yes, for the right car at the right price, but I would prepare myself for disappointment up until the car showed up at my home. This is the worst review this dealership has to date. Accordingly, I’d say they are running a pretty good business overall because of that.
Working with Chris was extremely easy and refreshing. As I was 2.5 hours away he was able to answer all my questions and provide any pics/docs before I made the trip down there. Great establishment for finding your next driver's car. Will definitely be back.

Being new to the Connecticut area I was looking for a auto shop that could service many "unknown to me" issues for my 2008 Lexus GX470. I knew there were things needing to be replaced and repaired and some fluid leaking. I scheduled an appointment with Chris to have the car diagnosed and all scheduling communication was smooth and prompt. I brought the car in and his mechanic Justin and he went through the truck and he developed a plan. From there, he was able to get all OEM parts and went to work on the truck. He communicated at each turn of the process and after several major repairs and maintenance replacements completed, I picked up my truck and it was not only spotless but ran like it was a brand new vehicle. The power steering fluid leak would typically have a shop replace the pump and rack without going through the steps and Chris and Justin were able to replace all 18 year old clamps and now there is no leak or fluid issues. I hope to get another 240,000 miles out of this truck thanks to this service. I recommend Competition Auto 100%.
