Bishop's used auto parts is an incredible salvage yard they have the best parts at the best prices and they go above and beyond to take care of their customers they definitely took care of me especially for having a 26-year-old truck looking for a hard to find part and it was a beautiful condition when I got it from them I would highly recommend them if you are looking for quality used auto parts and the facility there is incredibly clean and very well organized thank you to the entire staff for All of your help and all of your kindness I will definitely be using them in the future for my truck
Don't buy engines or anything from this place, they don't stand behind their so called "warranty". Greg tried blaming it on the warranty company, the warranty company said it was up to Bishop's if they want to replace the $4800 engine we bought from them...wouldn't even meet us half way or anything. They do bad business here, stay away...there are plenty of good reputable yards around, sucks we found this one.

And we know you didn't pay anything for the car, but you made a quick 5 grand on it.
And if you only cover the block, crank, rods, and pistons...then why didn't you remove everything else and sell us just that?
Cheapest quality parts you can find around Connecticut. I purchased a 2015 Honda CRV airbag. Everyone else wanted 500+ I got it for a little over 400. Four and they have a no haggle return policy. I definitely will be doing business with Bishop Auto parts again.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. This place is clean and organized, and there's a huge selection of junk cars and car parts. Customer service was awesome, and they even held my part without prepaying. Price was even less expensive than a lower quality part at another yard.
Mac and I do a lot of orders together since we both work for salvage yards, he is always does a great job getting me the parts I need, very professional organization to deal with. Highly Recommended.
Collaborated for over a week arranging the pick up of parts needed, made the 11 1/2 drive, stayed overnight, and was waiting when the doors "opened at 8 am", but ended up sitting in the parking lot for almost 2 hours before seeing my items, although It had been discussed multiple times prior the parts would be ready at 8 am to be loaded... This salvage yard has very poor customer service, and to beat it all..the parts salesman "works from home" so was unable to assist when we had issues. Given the circumstance, we finished the transaction, but would NEVER do business here again. No accountability for dropping the ball and being told to be "patient", calls for bad business, which is obviously why I am not the first bad review given here.
Prices not very cheap plus they charge in 4% credit card fee. They said the part is clean. No damage. When I came to pick it up. There is a dent on it and had to fight to get some refund back. I don't have a lot of pleasure to do business with them.
Jason over at Bishops went above and beyond to get a chrome piece trim for my Audi S4, despite closing early due to the ongoing heat wave, Jason communicated and did an awesome job getting me what I needed with very difficult time constraints in mind. Lou, the salesman who took care of us very courteous. Highly professional knew his product. Not bushy allowed us to make our mindstuff. You should treat him very well talking to the management of Bishop's auto.
Stay away far far away things have changed so have the people. Prepaid for item and was told to give him a couple days to retrieve it. That was a lie and the lies just kept coming. After this disgusting sales person lied over and over I finally got a total refund. Previously purchased item from Bishops was very pleasant and professional. Never go to this place again and if you’re smart neither will you.
Update got a call from the general manager at Bishops auto today. Very nice man who wonted me to take down my negative review. He was unaware of sales persons poor tactics. Offered me a $100.00 store credit that I declined..that would make me a hypocrite .He did say the employee in question would be reprimand. Retraining perhaps.
These folks are great! Communication, accuracy and customer service are on point! Teal and Rico are my go to, but I have always had a good encounter, in person or on the phone.
Very impressed with Mike T aka Teal. He promised me a very nice complete engine and that is exactly what we received. Super clean and low mileage, removed from the vehicle perfectly and complete with the harness also. Running perfect after installing. I’ve been dealing with Greg at Bishop’s for about 8 years now- he knows his stuff, is quick and always willing to help any way he can to assure you get the correct part. I purchased a fender from them, they told me it would be in for Thursday and I said well I go out Friday to be safe. I drove an hour out there on Friday and it wasn’t there yet and I had to drive back the following week. Honestly that wasn’t a huge deal and I wouldn’t have cared, but since we are here I’m putting it out there. Second the fender was listed as zero damage and is what I paid for. And as you can see in the pictures it had a few damage spots. They told me they would have the sales person contact me to see what they could do and I never heard back from anyone.
I needed a tail light and didn't want to pay 370.00 full price so, I got a beautiful replacement for 140.00. Great customer service. I was expecting a dump but, its very nice and organized. Highly recommend.
I deal with Bishops on pretty much a weekly basis for work. Parts are always as described. Best quality used parts I have dealt with. Delivery trucks are new, clean and highly organized. They do not stack parts upon one another. They go as far as having protective jackets for doors. Prices are on par and fair. My salesman Mike is always on point for me. Great company to deal with.
Great customer service. I went in for solara transmission. They had the best price with low miles hands down. Jim was really helpful with selecting the right transmission for my price range and when I returned the core (a month later) I needed some more parts for the car. Rob took really good care of me. Great experience over all. Will be using them in the future for sure.
