  I think it's absolutely ridiculous and bad business to close it down without letting your regular customers know. Some of us counted on this scrap yard and have been devoted customers .. then your only answer when asked is ," you can drive to hartford" ....um no we can't if we could go that far we wouldn't be at the junkyard.

  I went there to buy a bumper spent two hours in the hot sun pulling it off. The sign when you first walk in says bumpers are $40 so I brought $40. After removing the bumper I brought it down and the guy said that sign was old and all the prices went up so he charged me 50. So I drove all the way to the ATM to get an extra $10 and when I go to give him the money he says I need more money because it the bumper has lights in it. So after 2 1/2 hours and two trips to the ATM I walk away with no bumper. I told the guy I didn't want it so he ripped it out of the trunk of my car and threw it on the ground. I will never return this place again. The people that run the scrapyard are sketchy and will try to take more and more of your money.

  Can't believe how many times I've driven by this place and never stopped in, many missed opportunities for me but love pick and pulls, got a part there couple days ago at a fair price and was able to fix my truck!

  Stay away from the junk here!! Everything about this place is junk but the Owner is by far the worst! Super unprofessional and rude! Do yourself a favor and go to Boyd's instead

  Pretty well laid out junkyard lots of little treasures all over the place. Geo Storms, Stealths, ridge full of Trackers, there's one B Serries engine Honda in the back center lot that's 80% there. Most of the fast import engines are gone :( but that's to be expected. Reasonable prices for most parts. $2 to enter and then it's time to dig. Bring your tools and a cart if you plan on harvesting lots of heavy stuff. There's only 2 downsides. Afaik, they don't sell whole cars. Otherwise I'd get that Omni's vin ran to see if the title is still good or if the prior owner turned in the junk slip. And of it came back as something useable, I'd litterally throw money at them for it. The only other downside is there is only 2 90's Buicks. They seem to have crushed allot of their 90's GM stuff recently and then moved onto their mid 2000's Ford's but still allot of solid rangers back there. 4/5 highest score you can get from me without selling whole cars.

  This place use to be the place to go,I have sold them at least 6 cars in the past. Now they dont even pick up the phone or call you back when you leave a message. If I could I wouldn't even give one star...too bad I used to love this place

  Extremely poor communication, was told they had they part, but come to find out they never had the part and never let me know, was told they were too busy to call me back, customer is extremely upset now that they have to wait till friday to get their car back from repairs, zero stars, takes 30 seconds to let a person know that they did not have the part!!!!!!

  If I could leave a negative post I would I drove an hour and a half because he said he had what I needed I got there they didn't have what I needed after waiting in the office for an hour and a half five hours of my day gone While you're waiting for a horrible experience I highly recommend going to the subway at Citgo it makes great sandwiches

  The guy was so rude made us wait 25 minutes while he talked to a friend on the phone about personal stuff and then had us wait another 10 min after he got off the phone. Very unsatisfied customer service score of 0 I hope this place gets shut down

  Was looking for parts for my truck And went into the junk yard, probably 20 minutes found what I was looking for and then found the owner. Started to go on a rampage about how we couldn't go in and threatened me to have me shot and arrested , also very racist as he said if "I knew English" kept saying he didn't want to do any business and wanted us off the premises, overall STAY AWAY FROM THIS JUNKYARK

  After reading some not so nice reviews I felt compelled to write this one. (my first ever review) I purchased an 05 caddy from Gil 3 years ago with a salvaged title. The price was almost 1/2 of what 05 were going for. There were issues with getting it registered in mass and he and his wife were incredible in getting things done. I have just purchased 2 more vehicles from him. I went to look at a Mitsu Fuso and ended buying that plus a 08 caddy he had for sale. He is busy, and phones ring constantly, but if you want a good deal and an honest guy, i would recommend him all day long.

  Salvage yards are usually filled with gruff workers, their job is hard and they are usually not rewarded the best. So I normally expect to deal with some grumpy and/or disaffected people. Jordan's is the worst of the worst. Rude, mean, spiteful, hateful and dishonest. I will never deal with them again.
